1 Good evening, friends. Nice to be back again in the house of the Lord tonight, and ready to speak of Him again, and share our fellowship around his Word. I just love to fellowship around the Word of God, don't you? I was just told by Brother Arganbright that Brother Espinoza was in the meeting tonight; was here; and I think the brother said they wanted him to come to the platform, but he had refrained, and gone somewhere.
I certainly remember the great meeting in Mexico City with Brother Espinoza. How the Lord blessed! That was the time that the little dead baby was brought up, that... Never forget the night, and the little señorita that had the baby out there for...

2 Well, my! Here, right in my sight, Brother Espinoza! It sure is a pleasure to meet you. God bless you. Quite a good sight for weak eyes! God bless you. Will you sit down? Do you have your wife or someone out there? Oh, well, that's... How nice. Well, that's fine.
I just was thinking, many times I've referred to that, Brother Espinoza, how the Lord blessed down in Mexico. I believe I have spotted Sister Espinoza now. So glad to see you all. You know, when we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all sit down at the international dinner---international supper it is---and we'll have a ... really a grand time talking over old things, and old acquaintance renewing. And it'll be a great time.

3 I feel like I could stand another meeting in Mexico. That would just be fine. Had a great time. I remember the little baby. I never forget that. This beautiful little Mexican woman was...
Billy come to me, and he said, "Daddy, you're going to have to do something." He said, "You can't even hold that woman out there." Said, "They got so many ushers, but," said, "she wants to get up there anyhow. Said, "The brother..."
I forget his name that was with him, was giving out the cards. It was... I always called him "Mañana" because he was always late, you know. So, he was going to come after me at six o'clock, I believe, and he got me at nine. So, I called him Mañana (tomorrow, you know). And he was a fine brother, a real sweet, fine, brother.
And I remember this little baby. I said to Brother Jack Moore, I said, "Well, you go down and pray for the baby, and it'll..." And Brother Espinoza was interpreting for me. And I looked out over the audience this-a-way. And those people---talk about coming, and loyal to church, oh, my! They'd come there in the morning, stand in the hot sun all day, to be there that night, see. And so, they... That's the way you get something; that's where you find something.

4 Not because Brother Espinoza is here, but I said it the first night here. The other day I was in a church, a church in another city---Tucson, Arizona. And there was just about a half a dozen of my Mexican friends that had come from somewhere, and they had sat there all day that day, in that hot building, waiting for me to be there for that night---had sat there all day, waiting.
And when I got on the platform... I had been praying all that day. I had spoke that morning, and then come back. And that night, as soon as the platform ... those poor people... 'Course they just have to shuffle the cards out, and give them to whoever they want. And when I called the prayer line, and mixed all those... Pretty near every one was... About one, I think, Mexican woman was in there, and she couldn't speak any English.
And when she come to the platform, the Holy Spirit came down and began to talk to her, and tell her where she was from. Told her she had a mother, or somebody, way down just ... (What is this city just below the border here?) Tijuana... Tijuana, down in there, and how she was sick. And said within so many days she'd get the letter that she was all right, and well again.
And as soon as it started that, then the Holy Spirit moved right out through them white people out in there, went along in there, and picked out every one of those Mexican people that couldn't even speak one word of English, healed every one of them. So, that was it. Expectation, see? If you get to a place where you just humble yourself, don't ask, just be humble, then God will go to work. He'll ... it's his, see, when He'll really work.

5 Now, so I remember this little lady coming up. And when Brother Moore went down to try to satisfy her, and I looked this way, and I seen a vision of the cutest little Mexican baby sitting up, gooing. It didn't even have any teeth. Just gooing, laughing. I thought "That's so cute. Wait a minute," I thought, "that's that baby under that blanket."
So they ... it was rainy, and the little lady had a blanket on it. And it had died that morning, and this was in the night. Went and laid hands upon that little baby, prayed for it, and it began kicking, and screaming as loud as it could. And it was brought back to life, and is living today, as far as I know.
Now Brother and Sister Espinoza was one that knows, searched that down. And that's five times, now, that I have seen Him authentically bring dead back to life---after being dead for hours and hours, see, bring them back to life. He's God.

6 I tell you, brother, sister, what it is, we... It's been ... one time there was... I'll tell you a little story, and then you'll get what I mean.
There was a man, one time, took a journey---was going down to the sea. He'd read about it, he'd heard about it, but he had never seen the big sea. And on his road down he met an old salt, or a sailor, you know, coming back from the sea, and he said to him, he said, "Where goest thou, my good man?"
He said, "Oh, I'm going to the sea." He said, "It holds the thrills, and the excitement." He said, "I have never seen it." And said, "Oh, how I've longed to see it, see its great, big, briny waves jumping through the air, and hear the gulls hollering, smell the salt in the air," so forth like that. And he told all what it would be to him.
The old salt said, "I was borned on it. Lived on it for sixty years. I don't see nothing thrilling about it."

7 Now, that's just the way it is. There's been so many things to this American revival that's happened, till it's become so common to you, until you don't realize what it really is. Them people who has never seen it or heard it, my, their hearts are just built, and ready and gone, see. That's what... It becomes common to us.
And brother, sister, that's why you hear me cutting it as hard as I can. The American revival is over. It ended about four years ago. So, it's over. And there's no more revival in America. We're only gleaning in the field that's been already reaped and burnt over. You pick up a stalk once in a while, but very few. Now, we don't only find it here in Los Angeles, or in Long Beach. We find it all over the nation, the same way, everywhere.

8 And the meetings now, the big revivals, is in the overseas, over in the other lands, out of here. And that is...
I was talking to one of your missionaries right from the church, a boy sitting here tonight. Met his wife back there, a lovely brother---just come back from the Gold Coast. And oh, my! I said, "What do you think?"
He said, "This will never be ... no meetings for me here no more," see.
You just don't have the same heart when you go. And you see our American people so well dressed, and fed, and needing nothing, you know, and don't know that "thou art miserable, wretched, blind, poor, naked and don't know it." And you see them laying there on the street dying---the little baby, his little belly swelled up from hunger, and the mother dying, pulling along on the street. Just to speak about Jesus Christ, they just long and wait. And just say one thing, and they're just ready.
When you go to leave or something, they'll follow you to the airport. "Just tell us once more about Jesus," see. "Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." That's right.
Now let's bow our heads just a moment to our great King, in reverence to Him, and speak with Him.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

9 Heavenly Father, Thou art the author of this eternal Word. In the beginning was the Word. The Word always was because it was God. It was made flesh and dwelt among us. And tonight we see You still revealing that Word, unfolding yourself through the Word, and letting us fellowship around these great things.
And I thank You, Lord, as our minds has been turned to Mexico, our neighboring state way down there, among those people. I remember that dear old blind man coming on the platform that night, and wanted to get his rosary out. How I put my foot up against his, to see if my shoes would fit him; and my shoulders, to see if I could give him my coat.
But God, You done something greater for him. You gave him his sight. And how thankful he was. O God, the next night seeing that platform piled full of old coats, and rags, and things them poor people'd wrapped themselves in from the chilly winds. Oh, how I thank You, Lord. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst. They shall be filled.
I pray, Father, that tonight that this little group here will catch a new vision of the Lord Jesus and his near coming. We see we are right in the ending-up now, of the Laodicean church age.
I pray for Brother and Sister Espinoza, and their great work and love for You, knowing that he carried the meeting on after I left, and You blessed him. And the lame walked, the blind seen, the cripples... Oh, how You healed the people in a great revival. So glad, Lord, that You were merciful to those dear, helpless people. God, would You send us back again? We would love to go, if it be your will.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

10 Now we ask for mercy for us here tonight, and may the Holy Spirit come and get into the Word as we're trying to teach, to build up for a healing service coming Sunday night. Pray, Lord, that the lame will walk, the blind will see, and the great Holy Spirit will manifest Himself in a marvelous way. Help us tomorrow, Lord, at the broadcast, and the Businessmen's breakfast. And wherever we are, may we be able to scatter sunshine of light to the needy; calling those, Lord, who are hungering and thirsting, that they might be filled.
Bless the Word around our hearts, tonight, as we fellowship in Jesus' name. Amen.

11 Now, tonight, we are going to try to continue on in our study in the book of Genesis. If I do a little whistling, I broke a corner off of a tooth today, and so ... kind of feels funny up there when I'm trying to speak. So now, I was building for a coming healing service for this coming Sunday evening.
And now, tomorrow night, if the Lord willing, we end up at Sodom, or on the mount where Abraham taken his son for sacrifice. I think it would be a beautiful lesson there to bring us into that healing service for Sunday, because it truly expresses there just exactly like it will be in this day.

12 And last evening, many times in speaking cutting, I don't mean to hurt. I just mean to anchor a word, see, because it's the time where we are... I'm zealous of the church. I am. When I see the church getting off in the world, it just tears me to pieces. I just can't stand still.
Now, I don't mean to be different. God knows that. I don't mean to be different. I love you too much for that, to be different. But when I see things, and know that it's truth, then I ... there is just something in me, I just can't hold my peace. I just got to speak it, 'cause I only speak by inspiration, anyhow. And so, I don't mean to hurt, but I want you to take it that way.

13 Now, so that you'll understand, we all will agree that we are living in the Laodicean church age. We all know that. Now, remember on the Laodicean church age, the only age of any of them that Jesus was put outside of his own church, knocking on the door trying to get back in.
And that's what we've done, just exactly. That's what the Pentecostal groups has done. Because it's always ... the churches on every age, it's been a Pentecostal church. If you hear the broadcast this morning, I'm going to speak on that. And so, you find out if that isn't right. It's always...
When we hear of the church... The church, when it's spoke of in the Bible, it's Pentecostal church. It's never failed to be. There's been a little Pentecostal minority all the way through each age. And if you'll take the history...

Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

14 Brother Paul Boyd, I know (a friend of mine) is in here somewhere. I thank you, Brother Paul, for that wonderful book you sent me. And I took the Nicene, pre-Nicene Council, and Nicene Council, and many of these other ministers are far better quoted, or versed, on that than I am. But it was at the Nicene Council. It was that Pentecostal remnant that they forced out. Brought in their own ideas, where the church ... the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which was first just a little saying among them. "Nico" is ... the word means conquer. "Laita" means to conquer the laity.
In other words they taken all the Spirit out of the congregation, the laity, and made a holy man out of it. Let the ... people's not holy, so the holy priest, the holy bishop, or something, and "nico" (conquer) the laity, and make it one man. So they'd all go in and build up the church, and pay in, and so forth like that. Just one man could be the intercessor to forgive sins.
But that's not God's remedy. God don't deal with us as a church. He deals with us as an individual. So the Holy Spirit is in the laity, just the same as it's up here, or anywhere.

Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

15 And we find out that, in that, in that time, they took the Holy Spirit out of the church, and they united church and state.
And Constantine was not a convert. A man that'd done those things... He was just like Ahab. He was a politician. He only taken pagan Rome and Christian Rome, and united them together; and took the Christian superstitions, and the pagan ceremonies, and bound them together, and made a universal religion out of it to strengthen his own kingdom. He was not no convert. The things he did proved that he wasn't. So, I am not his judge, of course. But I am just taking it from the way the history reads it.

16 And then, there she went through the Dark Age, the church did. Then you come out with Martin Luther, then with John Wesley, then to Pentecost again. It's always been a Pentecostal church. And you watch down through those ages. When you take after St. Paul of the Ephesian church, then you take Irenaeus of the next church age, St. Martin of the next one, Columba of the next one---then Luther, Wesley, and on down to this last day.
Now we're looking for a great messenger in the last day, which will be the second-time coming of Elijah. It's great! Did you notice? Jesus said... Now, if you're watching, we've got so many things like that, you have to watch what you're talking about, because everybody's Elijah. We have them everywhere now, everything else. But that's wrong. That's just as wrong as it can be.

17 And so, you'll notice in Revelation ... in Malachi, the last prophet, in the last part of the 4th chapter, he said, "Before the great and terrible day of the Lord shall come, I will send to you Elijah, the prophet [now watch], and he will turn the hearts of the children ... the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers."
Now, if you watch, the disciples asked Him, "When will these things be? Why was it they said that Elias must first come?"
He said, "He's already come," Jesus said. "And they did to him what was listed." And they understood that He spoke of John the Baptist.
He was the Elias, it's true. But you watch. There's a compound coming there. That couldn't be the real Elias that was supposed to be, because when this Elias come was when He's going to burn the earth, and the righteous walk out upon the ashes of the wicked. See, it would have to be.
And so, that wasn't Elias. He is the messenger of the third chapter of Malachi. "Behold I send my messenger before my face." That was the Elias.

Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Malachi 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Matthew 17:10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

Matthew 17:12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Mark 13:4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

Luke 21:7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

18 And notice here, the first Elias was to come, he would turn the hearts of the children to the fathers ... or the hearts of the fathers to the children. See, the old patriarch fathers, the old orthodox, the legalist, the law, he turned it back to ... the faith of the fathers here to the children ... the hearts to the children. This new message that John was preaching, see, of the coming Messiah at hand, he turned the hearts to this.
But watch, the next time John appears, he turns the hearts of the children back to the faith of the Pentecostal fathers. So it would be back to the original message. And you'll know when it gets here. It'll be a restoration. It'll send that lukewarm Laodicean church back to that original faith back yonder again. Yes, sir.
And he'll be anointed to do so, when this Elijah comes. He'll be a prophet. He'll pull no punches, he'll cut right and left.

Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Matthew 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Luke 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

19 Take the nature of Elijah. Look at Elijah, and see what he was. What was he when he come in John's time? He hated denominations. "You Pharisees! Don't think to say to yourself 'We have Abraham to our father,' 'cause God's able of these stones to rise children to Abraham." So did Elijah.
Both of them hated women ... or immoral women, and things doing wrong. Look at Elijah with Jezebel. Look at John the Baptist with Herodias, see. Both wilderness men, loved the woods and outside. Come out of the bushes, and send forth a message. He'll come on the scene one of these days.

1 Kings 21:23 And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.

2 Kings 9:36 Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Matthew 14:3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

Luke 3:19 But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,

20 It might not be just one person, but it'll be a message in the church---the Holy Spirit in the church to swing that faith back again to the original faith (that's right), for he will turn the hearts of the children back to the fathers.
The first time he turned the hearts of the fathers to the children; this time the hearts of the children to the fathers, see, taking the faith that the fathers had, and placing it over here on the children---the ones just then coming in. And this time, he's to take that same faith, 'cause they got away from the original faith, and he's going to turn the faith of the fathers ... or the children, back to the fathers, the Pentecostal fathers---another Acts 2 (that's right), another one.

Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

21 I'm speaking on that in the morning, the Lord willing: "It Wasn't So from The Beginning," at the Christian Businessmen's breakfast. So ... that's the broadcast. Then afterwards, I want to speak on the subject of "Hearing, Believing, and Acting, on the Word of God."
Now, tomorrow night, then we'll be back here again to close off this study of Genesis. And Sunday night, the Lord willing, we want to have a healing service to pray for the sick again, Sunday night.

22 Now, the reason that the Holy Spirit today would rebuke and tear down the church... You remember, the Laodicean age? He said, "As many as I love, I rebuke." As many as I love, I rebuke. Thank God for rebuking. A real father will straighten us up, and get us out.
I met a ... happened to meet a lady today, and she was very much upset at what I said the other night, about women wearing little, short clothes. It was not nice for Christians to do that, and it was absolutely unscriptural.
She said, "Young man, you'll ruin your ministry."
I said, "Oh, no. No. If I don't, it'll be ruined," see. She said ... I said, "Are you guilty?"
She said, "No, sir. I don't wear shorts."
I said, "Well then, what you fussing about?"
She said, "I wear slacks."
I said, "That's worse."
She said, "Oh, no," see. Said, "It's decent like this." And said, "You put ... like, what are you going to do with a woman out in the field [I believe is the way she put it, yeah], riding a horse, out with my husband to help round up some cattle. You think I ought to wear skirts?"
I said, "You oughtn't to be out there in the first place. That's what's the matter. Women's trying to take men's work now. We've got too many men out of work." That's right. Right.
She said, "What about in the garden, when you're pulling up stuff ... garden, with a dress on. Don't you think it would be better with slacks on?"
I said, "No, ma'am. My wife has no trouble about it. Neither did my mother. I don't think you will either, if you'll just take care of yourself." I said...
She said, "And slacks is wrong?"
I said, "The Bible says that a woman that will put on any garment that pertains to a man, it's an abomination in the sight of God." That's right.

Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

23 Brother, the Scripture's all here. Let's just obey it. That's all. "As many as I love, I rebuke." That's of this age. Is that right? So... And then the Bible said also, in Hebrews, the 12th chapter, and the 8th verse, "And if they cannot stand ... and won't take rebuking, they are illegitimate, and not sons of God."
A man blows up, "Hmph!" A woman, "Oh, I ain't going to listen to that any more. I don't have..."
All right. Go ahead, illegitimate. That's exactly.
But a real child of God will take his correction, and say, "Yes, Father. It's your Word. I've got to straighten up now. I've got to do what's right."
You know that's truth, isn't it? A illegitimate is the one that always backs off, and ... the fly in the soup, just trying to upset something. But the real child of God admires to be rebuked, and straightened up. My old father never whipped me one time but what I bless every lick he hit me to make me what... If it wouldn't have been for that, why, I'd probably been a renegade myself.
So that's what's the matter with too many little Rickys, and so forth, today. You let them run out here, and throw around, and stomp their foot. And little Mary, "I just won't do that." She ought to've had my mother. That's right. Yes, sir.
We got too much now of just letting the kids... No wonder they've got juvenile delinquency. You know what caused it? Parent delinquency. That's what started it. Yes, sir. You didn't keep your children around. You let them out in these places, and carrying on like that, and endorsing it. No wonder we're in such an age as we are now.

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

24 Now these things are unpopular. That's the reason my ministry's not growed up, or big, like other fellows. If it ever gets that way, I want God to tear it down, so we can get down where I can really go ahead and tell the truth. I don't belong to any organization, so I can ram it any way I want to, see. I don't belong to any group, so I can say what I... I just belong to Christ, and I can just stay right there.
I don't have to have money, so there it is. I stay right with it. Wherever God sends me, I just go and bust it right down the way He tells me, and walk away, see---get on back again.
So, that's the way I want it. I don't want no big obligations, where you have to beg for money, and plead for this, and take up this, and carry on this, and this big guy... I got to keep my mind on Christ. Go look yourself, out among you, others to do that. For us, let's give ourselves to the Word of God, and preach, and stay with the truth, and revelation of the Holy Spirit, and what's going to take place.

Acts 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

25 Now, we find out... Now, let's get a little background on Abraham now. Last night, we find that Abraham was just an ordinary man. Is that right? Now, that's... Today when God blesses a person, then the people think they have to be real odd, real peculiar. No, it's just ordinary man. Making him a holy man, some great ... come down through generations of holy men, and has to be a... No, that's not it.
The Bible says Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are. He was just a man. Abraham was just a common fellow, that came down ... an old man come down from Babylon, went out in the land of the Chaldeans, and the city of Ur---and just an ordinary man, him and his wife. Probably a poor farmer, whatever he did for a living.

Genesis 11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

26 And we find out that God spoke to him one day, and told him that he was going to have a child by his wife. And he was seventy-five years old, and she was sixty-five at the time. Now it was ridical ... radical, rather, to think of what ... God would say that to a man seventy-five years old.
But you see, God does what He wants to, and He usually does things in such a awful peculiar way. And He makes you act peculiar whenever you obey his Word. For "all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."
But you've just got to come straight to the Word. Don't ... no private interpretation. Just read it the way it's written, and believe it the way it's written---in the way you're supposed to believe it. And if you don't doubt it, it'll produce everything that it promised, if you can take the right mental attitude: that God wrote it, God said it; the promise is mine, I believe it. Watch it happen. It's got to. It's just got to happen.

Genesis 15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Genesis 17:16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

27 Now we find out that God told him to separate himself, last night, and ... away from his kindred, away from his people. But Abraham like an ordinary man... Now, God never run him out ... back to his homeland for doing it, but Abraham never did get blessed of God until he separated himself from all of his people. He took his father along, took some more along, took his nephew. And the old fellow always was in the way. So finally God called him off the scene. And then Lot, his nephew, backslid and went down into Sodom.
And then, when he got separated from them, then God began to tell him about the blessing---what he's going to bless him. I like that.
Now we find out in Genesis 13:16, God told Abraham when He spoke to him about his covenant, He said, "I will multiply you. And your seed shall be like the dust of ... the sands by the side of the sea, like little grains of dust in the earth. Your seed shall be like that---a father of nations."
And now we notice also in Genesis 15:5, when He confirmed the covenant, or spoke to him again about it, He said, "And go outside and look up. Can you number the stars? [How that there's so many stars---innumerable.]"

Genesis 12:5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Genesis 13:12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.

Genesis 13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

Genesis 13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

Genesis 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

Genesis 13:16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.

Genesis 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Genesis 17:4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

28 Look from dust to stars. Oh, my! From the earth, grave, to glory.
And remember, the real promised seed of Abraham, which come through Isaac, was Christ. And He is the "lily of the valley, the bright and morning star, the fairest of ten thousand to my soul." How we look at that! How God in his great solar system declares ... You believe that God lives in his solar system? You believe He made the stars? He said He did. How everything is so perfectly arranged in the solar system, from the... Look. From the dust down here on earth-bound to stars in glory. Jesus, the bright morning star, the head of all of it, is really the seed that brought forth these other stars through Him.
And we find that we, being dead in Christ, we are Abraham's seed, and are heirs with Father Abraham to the promise. Then, if we are Abraham's seed, we find out that we have to have the faith of Abraham, or we are not Abraham's seed. And what is the seed of Abraham? The Holy Spirit (amen) which come through Christ Jesus.
That makes us, as we receive the Holy Spirit, then we are not no longer Gentiles, but we are Jews. And the Jew by birth is not a Jew. Paul said that which is Jew is not that outwardly, but that inwardly that has the faith of Father Abraham. And if we are Father Abraham's seeds, then we take every promise God made, no matter how ridiculous it looks like, how it could not happen. But if God said so, we believe it anyhow.

Song of Solomon 2:1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.

Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

29 Now Abraham, when he was supposed to have this baby... We went through it last night, when Sarah might have said... After the first twenty-eight days, he said, "How you feeling, honey?"
"No different."
"Praise God. We're going to have it anyhow." And he never got any weaker; he got stronger all the time. "Yep. Going to have a baby anyhow."
"How do you know you are? Why, you're older getting older. Why, you're seventy-five. You've lived with her since you was eighteen years old [or something---his half-sister]. And now, you know that's impossible. When you were young, when you were a young man... And maybe when she was eighteen, and you twenty-eight [there was ten years difference in their age], well, that's when you'd have had the baby if you was going to have one. But all these years, and now she's years and years and years past menopause. Then how're you going to have the baby? It's impossible."
Well, the doctors look at you. "The poor old fellow is off at his head. You know, there's something wrong." That's what they say to every true seed of Abraham. They say, "Oh, just leave him alone. He won't hurt nothing. He's helpless, but ... you know, but hopeless, too," they think. But he believes God.
How could a fellow that had a promise like Moses, going down to take over Egypt---one man with a stick in his hand, going down to take her over... ?
"How do you know you're going to?"
"God said so. That settles it."---that seed of Abraham again, see. He had the faith of God because he was the seed of Abraham.

Genesis 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Exodus 3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Exodus 3:11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

Exodus 3:12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

30 And now, we found out last night, that he was Abram until God blessed him, and made a covenant with him. And then He changed his name from Abram to Abraham, and h-a-m was part of God's name. Did you notice that? Did it ever soak down in? Abraham---Elohim---see. He put part of God's name, because God is the father of all. And He made his name, being Elohim, He put part of his name with Abraham, see, and made him a partner with Him.
Through his seed he would bring forth seed, and bless every nation in the earth. He'd be the father of many nations. Abraham would reproduce the faith of Elohim---h-e-m and h-a-m. But he made him part of his name, because he was to be the father of many nations.

Genesis 17:4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

Genesis 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Genesis 17:6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

31 Oh, it's so rich! Wish we just had all the time... We could just take it, and just read verse by verse, and go through it. I tell you, it just makes me jump into the seventh heaven, almost, to think of how perfect that Bible is.
There's not one scripture contradicts another, just as perfectly through and through as it can be. There's not ... no contradictions in the Bible. The guy that says that, just bring him along. There's no such a thing as a contradiction in the Bible that cannot be straightened out by the Word of God. Right. Now it's all riddled up, because He's did it that way to hide it "from the eyes of the wise and prudent, and reveal it to babes such as would learn." Yes.

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

32 I've got a wife. How I love her---sweetest woman on earth to me. Now we're not... We believe in... We believe that God is love. And if God is love, then He loves us so much that He gave his only begotten Son, that we might be saved. Now, when I go overseas, I don't call Mrs. Branham and say, "My dear Mrs. Branham, I'm taking a trip overseas. Thou shalt not have any other husbands while I'm gone. Thou shalt not make eyes at anyone while I'm gone."
Wouldn't that... If ... she'd catch me by the tie, and say, "Wait a minute, Mr. Branham. Thou shall have no other wives, or even sweethearts, while you're gone." Now, wouldn't that be a home? No. That ain't it. If it would, I'd be scared all the time. She would be, too.
But the thing of it is, I love her. And I say, "Sweetheart, the Lord's called me overseas."
"Well, thank the Lord."
She has to stay home, you know, and take care of the children. And so, what do we do? Get down on the floor and pray; bring our little kiddies around, and we pray. And she prays, "God, take care of Bill. I can't be much help, but I'll do all I can here with the children."
And then I kiss her good-bye. "Bye, sweetheart." As long as I love her like that, don't you worry. Long as she loves me like that, there's not a worry in the world. It ain't what I'm forced to do; it's what I do by love.
That's what it is by God. We quit doing these things not because... Say, "Well, I oughtn't to go to picture shows. I oughtn't to dance. I oughtn't to smoke. I oughtn't to drink, 'cause I'm a Christian. I shouldn't do it; yet I want to do it." You might as well do it. When you love God, you just do it ... you don't do it because you love God, see.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

33 Now, what if overseas ... if I'd come back, and I took some lady out, and took her out somewhere riding, and come back, and took her in, and said, "Good night to you," and so forth. And I know I'd have to tell Meda about it. Well, I believe she'd forgive me for it.
I'd say, "Meda, I did it." I'd go confess it, say, "I did it. I'm sorry I did it."
I know she'd say, "Bill, I'll forgive you for it."
But that would haunt me the rest of my days---that poor little fellow, and know how I love her. No matter what I had to go through, I wouldn't hurt her for nothing. I love her too much. That's my love for her. Yes, sir.

34 I go, and away from home, away from my children, when my heart bleeds to be there with them.
Little Joseph called me the other day, when I was leaving. You know, sometimes a change in water sometimes makes us sick. He walked out. He wanted to come with me so bad. He'd been crying all morning, and he walked out to the porch, and looked out--- straightened his little self up, and rubbed his big eyes. Looked at me, said, "Daddy?"
I said, "Yes, son."
He said, "God bless you. And may you never get sick."
Just four years old, little bitty fellow. Oh, my! Little fellow sees visions, and everything. I ... someday when I'm done, I want to take my Bible, and hand it over in Joseph's hand, say, "Honey, stay with it. Don't compromise on it. Stay right there. I want you to stay right with the Word."

35 And so, that's it. It's love. Though I know that if I do anything wrong, I believe God would forgive me for it. But, oh, my! I wouldn't want to hurt Him. I wouldn't want to do nothing to hurt Him. I love Him too much. Well, that's the way we're supposed to live for God---in love with Him, love; just so in love that you love one another.
Jesus said, "... this will all men know that you're my disciples, when you have love one for another." Not because you're Methodist, or Baptist, or Lutheran, or Pentecostal; because you love one another. And that's what I've always tried to do to get these little middle walls tore down, and got a way so I could say, "We love one another," see.
But see, as long as we do the things that we're doing... We find it there as shadows in the Bible, where they did it in the beginning. And you see what happened to them. And all these happened for examples, says Hebrews.
Now we find out, it's the same thing now. We get ourself off, and cold, and indifferent, and sit on this mountain for forty years instead of going into the promised land.

Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

36 So the dust ... from the dust to the stars; from the dirt of the earth (what we're made out of) to the shining stars in glory. "They that know their God shall do exploits, and they shall shine as the stars forever and forever." Daniel 12. Yes, they will.
Just think. That morning star, it hasn't lost any of its beauty since God hung it there in the solar system. It hasn't lost any of its beauty. It'll be gone on for billions and billions of years, and we'll still be shining in glory. Yes, sir! It's just a sample, just an example.

37 I want to say something here. I'm afraid to, and I... Is it all right, brother? Now, you have to watch when you're ... especially with people. They misunderstand. Now, I believe the three's, the Trinity, is in one, as we know. Now, I believe that God had three Bibles, if you'll watch. Now, the first Bible He wrote was in the heavens---the zodiac. Now I know you can get off on deep ends with that, and you can get off on deep ends with anything else. But truly, if you notice the zodiac, how did it start?
It starts... The first in the zodiac is the virgin; the last in the zodiac is Leo, the Lion---the first coming, and the second coming of Christ: once to the virgin, next was the lion of the tribe of Judah. You catch the crossed fishes---through that, the cancer age that we're going through. Everything in the skies declares God. Certainly does. And God's people are to look up, realizing that God's not on earth, but He's in heaven. He wrote the first Bible.

38 Now, the second thing He wrote, Enoch, in the time of the pyramids, down in Egypt. I've been there, and perhaps many men in here, and women, has been there. You notice those pyramids? We couldn't reproduce them. They're too great, too gigantic. They're so geographically in the center of the earth, no matter where the sun is, there's never a shade around them.
And they got tons, and tons, and tons of boulders up there that... They argued about that once. We used to debate it in school, how they built it. Well, the fellow who was my opponent said, "They rolled it up."
Well, I said, "That's ... that's... Well, they couldn't." I know you can't take a box car, and unload it, and set it out on the railroad track, and put enough men around to push it. Even unloaded you can't do it. I've seen it tried too many times. You can only put one line of men. The next line has to push against the next man's back.
How're you going to push a boulder up yonder half-a-city block in the air, that'd weigh a thousand tons? What they had then was the atomic powers (just like they got now), and they built it. That's what ... they shook the world out of its orbit, 'caused ... away from the sun, throwed it sideways, and brought the rains, and destroyed the world by water. This time they're going to throw the same thing right straight back into the sun, and burn it up again. Just as perfect as it can be.

2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

39 But notice, in building the pyramids. Now, watch this. You got a dollar bill in your pocket? I think I got one. So, if you notice on the back of your dollar bill, why have they got the pyramid that says "The Great Seal"? Did you ever notice on your American dollar, "The Great Seal"?
Notice, on that pyramid also, how it starts at the bottom, and keeps coming up like this---minority, minority. And do you notice? The capstone's not even on it. Neither is the pyramid capped. Why? The capstone was rejected---Jesus Christ, the head of it. Exactly right.
Now notice. In the Lutheran age, what did we live? Justification, way down here at the bottom, placing the foundation stones, Luther. Wesley? We believe in sanctification, to come into the minority. Pentecost? Still the baptism of the Holy Ghost, up in the minority.
But watch. The church that goes right out to the end of it---right out at the end of that---that church is going to have to be so perfectly like the ministry of Jesus Christ, that when that stone comes, it sets right smack in the groove. Oh, hallelujah!

40 If you just catch it, and know what I'm talking about...
The very ministry that Jesus Christ was doing here on earth, when it comes back, the very same ministry He had... Pentecost will not have to widen itself out in organization, but shape itself up in Christ ---until the headstone and the church will fit one to the other. And then, it's so cemented till you can't even take a razor blade, and go around and find the crack where they were put together.
And that's how the church has got to come---so much like Christ. And look what we got to do then: put away, and circumcise, and chop off, and form and mold it into the image of Jesus Christ, until that church and the cap comes right smack together.
Look at my hand on a shadow on the wall. When it's away from me, it's scattered out. As it comes, it becomes more ... closer. It's not a great big finger; it's getting smaller, and smaller, and smaller; getting darker and darker and darker, until the shadow---the negative and the positive becomes one. That's the way it is in the coming. The church has got to shape itself, till it hasn't got a spot or wrinkle in it. Amen. There is that second Bible.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

41 The third one is wrote on paper, because this is that great educational age that we're living in. And none of them contradict one another.
So you see, the great solar system speaks of Christ. Everything that you see speaks of Christ, if you just look at it. Look at the church today in its condition---weak, backslidden, gone back into the world. That speaks of Christ, exactly what He said. He'd stand at the door and knock, put outside---organized Him out, and set Him outside. Their creeds and so forth took Him out.
But He still stands at the door, knocking, and said, "Everyone I love I chasten and rebuke," (that's right), trying to cut them down, and bring them to a spot to where, when the great capstone comes, the ministry that's in the church and the capstone has come right straight together like a magnet, just sealed right in together. O God, help us to have...
It'll be there. Don't worry. It'll be there. He said it would be there. So let's just get ourselves to meet that cornerstone. Let us love, and project our lives in Christ, and be sincere and stay with the Word; until when He comes, we just fit right in like the glove over the hand, like that with Him. Oh, that's the church that God is waiting for. Yes, sir.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

42 Now, he was ... we realize from the dust now (the 13th chapter unto the 15th chapter), now we find out... We left him last night where he had done a beautiful thing, Abraham. His backslidden brother, Lot, went down in Sodom, and become a great man down there, and got out of the will of the Lord.
Then should we seek a flowery bed of ease? Should we ask the easy way? No. Those writers used to write ... wrote a song:
Must I be carried home to heaven
On a flowery bed of ease,
While others fought to win the prize,
And sailed through bloody seas?
No, I must fight if I must reign.
Increase my courage, Lord.
That's it. We don't ask for easy things. Today the church is wanting just to go to sleep, and fan it away with some kind of a little theology, you know:
"Yes, we believe it. Yes, you're all right. Join the church. That's all you have to do. Bring your letters from the Methodist over to us Baptists. And if the Oneness won't have you, we Trinity will. And so here we are. Just bless your little hearts." Oh, brother!
That's not Christians. That's hybrid---hybrid religion. I preached on it not long ago.

43 Anything that's hybrid is polluted. And religion is hybrid from this Bible into organizations, denomination. Our church creeds is hybrid.
Now, look. A hybrid produces a more beautiful art, or more beautiful product. You take wheat... We got corn---hybrid corn---some of the best corn we ever had. But it's no good. You take that hybrid corn and plant it back, it can't reproduce itself again.
The best worker you've got is a mule. Its mother was a mare horse; its father was a little Jenny ... or, a little Jack. And that mule cannot raise another mule. It cannot breed itself back again. And what we've got today is a bunch of mule hybrid religion (just exactly), bred from Methodist to Baptist, to Pentecostal, Presbyterian creeds and denominations, till we got nothing.
If there's anything I hate to look at, it's an old mule. He has no affections at all. He sits back there with that great, big, long head, you know. And you talk to him, say, "Come on, boy. Come on, boy."
Go, "Haw, haw, haw. Days of miracles is passed. We learned that in the seminary. Haw. There's no such thing as baptism of the Holy Ghost. Haw, haw." No affections at all. He don't know who his papa was, he don't know who his mama was, and he can't go no further than what he's gone right then.

44 But anything I love is a good hybrid horse ... a good registered horse, good registered stock. Oh, brother! Pedigreed! That's the way I like religion. I like real, pedigreed Pentecostal religion. They can tell you where they come from. They know who their father and mother was.
You don't see them with bobbed hair, and dresses you're poured into, like some kind of wiener steamed over, or something like that. And out here smoking cigarettes, marrying three or four women, running around drinking, and carrying ... calling themselves Christians. They don't do that. That's hybrid Pentecost, brought into a denomination. But real Pentecosts stand on the firing line, stand for God.

45 Hybrid. It's hybrid so much in this... America's gone so much on hybrid, till the people is becoming hybrid. You know, you have to go back to the original.
Now, let me show you where science claims that we come from---animal life. That breaks them down. If anything breeds... Genesis 1:26 says ... I believe it said let every seed bring forth of its kind, every seed after its kind. And you cross that seed up, it cannot breed itself back again. No, sir. It's finished when...
That shows that we never evoluted from monkeys and so forth, getting better and better. No, sir. We did not. We are simply made in the image of God. We're sons and daughters of God. Yes.
The man and his wife are one. The man ... when he was first made, he was both in his spirit, both masculine and feminish. Both was him... Male and female was he alone.
But when God separated him, he never went... A woman is not in the original creation. She's a by-product of the man. He took the body from the man's body, and took the feminish part from his spirit, and put it in her. And she is feminish, and he's masculine.
When you see women---like in America today---want to act like a man, there's a pervert there somewhere. When you see a man so sissified, afraid, say, "I just don't like to tell you all where you all going," you're some preacher! Say, "I don't want to..." Oh, my! God wants men! That's right. Wants you, if you're a woman, be a lady; if you're a man, be a man. Don't...

46 Now listen. It's hybrid. It's gummed up. And boy, this West Coast is lined with it, everywhere. You know why? Civilization has traveled from the east, west, and all that's went with it.
The Indian said, before the white man come with his women, with his whiskey, and with his sin, they lived a good life. But here come the white man---a killer, a murderer, and killed off his buffalo, and everything else. Then sin contaminated. And she's rolled right up against this West Coast here till it's higher than the skies. That's exactly right. You go any further, you go back East again.
This is a graveyard, down here, for preachers. Look at Paul Rader, and the rest of them, dying down here. Aimee McPherson, all of them. I've got a brother up here, was a fine little preacher. When he got out here he hit the dust. And there he is up there in a cult---blood, oil, and all kinds of stuff that's not even scriptural. God, have mercy!
Talk about a modern Sodom, when thirty percent of increase of perverts last year, sexual affairs... I get letters from mothers out here on the coast, of their own boys: take boys and go live with them in their rooms; crying, poor old mothers, for their children. Why, it's a disgrace. Somebody's got to call it out. "Repent or perish!" Right. Get back to God. Pitiful. God, be merciful!
I'm not excusing the rest of the world. The whole world's that way. But you're just rolling here, tumbling, everywhere. As I've said, we used to have to go over to Paris. But Hollywood furnishes them their fashions now. Our women's got so bad that they have to send the fashions over to Paris to show them some eye-openers. My goodness! How it is! And that's brought right into our Pentecostal church. God, have mercy! It's a shameful thing. Repent or perish! That's right. Get out of those kind of things,

Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

47 pattern like the world.
That's the way that the king wanted... One time, wanted a king in Israel, 'cause the rest of ... That good old prophet walked up to them, said, "When did I ever tell you anything in the name of the Lord that it didn't happen? When did I ever take your money from you? If you want a king, and be like the rest of them, you're refusing God as your king."
When you take creeds instead of the Bible, then you're taking the church for your salvation. And Christ is your salvation. The Holy Spirit leads and guides the church. God never sent bishops, and so forth, to guide churches or denominations. He sent the Holy Ghost to run the church, God's idea of it. He ought to know. He's God.

1 Samuel 8:5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

48 Now we find in there, after he went after his backslidden brother and brought Lot back, what happened in the 14th chapter? As soon as he brought Lot back, Lot ought to've knowed not to get in that wallow again. But he went right back into it again. As the sow goes to its wallow, a dog to its vomit, says the Bible. That's exactly. If it made him sick enough to vomit up the first time, it'll make him sick again, see? Oh, as a sow to its wallow, and as a dog to its vomit, it goes back.
That's just exactly Pentecost that was brought out back yonder forty years ago, made a holiness church a power house for God. And you see what your creeds did to you the first time? Then you come right back into it again. Let the Holy Ghost take over. Let Him rule the church. Let Him come in.

49 Not long ago I was bawled out. Was at one of the Christian Businessmen's breakfast, or supper, right after that... One night Brother Roberts had spoken, and I was speaking after him the next night. And when I did, I spoke on that, how it was that these things that I have spoke on, Delilah and Samson...
And so, one of the brothers raised up, and said, "Well, Brother Branham, our pastor said they know that. But they can't say nothing." Said, "If they do, the church will put them right out."
I said, "Put them out. I'd rather preach to five people full of the Holy Ghost, than a whole country full of half-backslidden [unclear word]. Tell the truth.

50 Just like it's coming springtime. Your old mother birds will go out here, and lay eggs, and make a nest, and hover over them. And she'll... That's how she brings her little ones. Well, now, if that old mother bird, though... She might lay a nest full of eggs, and if she hasn't been with the mate, they won't hatch. They're not fertile. The blood stream comes from the male sex. We know that. The hemoglobin, the blood, comes from the man because it had to be that way, because the woman produces the egg. She's an incubator, but she has nothing to do with the blood of the baby---the reason it always takes the father's name. That's how God formed it.
Jesus ... somebody said Jesus was a Jew. He was not. "We're saved by Jewish blood." We're not. He was neither Jew nor Gentile. He was God. God was his father. God created that blood cell without anything to do with any man, Jew or Gentile. We're saved by the blood of Immanuel---drawn from Immanuel's veins, "where sinners plunged beneath the flood lose all their guilty stains." Nothing hybrid about that, the real true unadulterated blood of God's own creation, without any sex into it.

51 The old mother bird, she can get up on this nest, and lay... She can lay the eggs all right. So can we have churches. Just like I said, a hybrid religion. "We got a prettier church than we used to have. Oh, my! It's beautiful." I admire that, but brother, when you see our women and men in our congregation breaking down to that old cold, formal acting, and painting... And women ... why, it used to be wrong for Pentecostal women to wear manicure. What is that stuff they put on their face, ever what it is? It used to be ... lipstick. It used to be wrong for them to do that. But I notice they do it now. What's the matter with them?
Listen, there was only one woman in the Bible ever painted her face, and that was Jezebel. God fed her to the dogs for doing it. Now when you see a woman, a lot of paint on, say, "How do you do, Miss Dog Meat?" That's exactly what it was in the Bible. God fed her to the dogs, just made dog meat out of it. That's exactly right.
What we need is a Pentecostal stirring revival, all the way from the pulpit to the door of the church. Clean up. We need Christ, brother, sister. We do.

2 Kings 9:30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

2 Kings 9:36 Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

52 The old mother bird sits there and hover them eggs, till she gets so poor she can't fly off the nest. That's right. She can turn them reverently, and, "Oh, my! They're mine"; and cover them, and cover them, and say, "Well, I could go eat, but I've got to attend the ladies' society. I've got to have this, and the other," see, till she gets so poor she can't fly off. They'll never hatch. They're dead. They'll lay right there and rot.
That's what's the matter with a lot of our Pentecostal grandchildren. God don't have any grandchildren, as I told you. God don't have grandchildren; He just has children, sons and daughters. But we Pentecostal people brought in our children, put them on the cradle roll, and they come up. They was just Pentecostal, because we were Pentecostal. That's grandchildren. God don't have any---just sons and daughters.

2 Corinthians 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

53 And that egg, if... That old mother bird can turn it any way she wants to, it'll never hatch. It'll lay right there and rot. That's just what's the matter today in our churches, the reason we ... they're all broke up in organizations, and different denominations. We took them in by letter, and shook them in, because they was good money payers in the church, and help build big, fine, buildings, and things like that. And they know no more about God than a Hottentot does about Egyptian knights.
They won't believe in divine healing. They turn down the Holy Ghost. They fuss at you because you bawl the people out and try to straighten them up. They're dead, rotten eggs. The best thing to do is clean the whole nest out, and start over again. Get somebody in contact with Christ who lives [unclear words]. Exactly right. Get the church, the nest, cleaned out. Sterilize it, or fumigate it right good, and start over again. That's right. Get somebody that lays on the altar there till they come through.

54 Last night I made an altar call. Three or four sinners run up to the altar, and I had to beg people, almost, from this very church to come up and pray with them people. Then you... Don't you holler at the Baptist. I can go down to Kentucky and make an altar call, and some old boy out there, chewing on his hat and under conviction, starts to the altar. There'll be fifteen of them old mammys around him somewhere. That's right. Now he don't just get down there at the altar, and say, "I take Christ as my Saviour." They beat one another on the back till they come through. They got something when they come out of there.
What we need is go back, and learn what the Baptist has got. We need another preacher like John, who lays the ax to the root of the tree, and brings forth to cut it down, and throw into the furnace. Amen! Yeah.

Matthew 3:10 And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Luke 3:9 And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

55 After he'd went and brought his brother back---Abraham---brought his brother back, then he turned right back, and into the same thing again, the same wallow.
Then after that, God said, "Abraham..."
He said, "What're you going to do for me, Lord? I'm going ... I'm childless. I don't have any children. The only heir of my house is this Eleazar of Damascus."
He said, "But he is not your heir. I promised you that you were going to have a child by Sarah. And that's the way it's going to be." God sets his Word. It'll never change. It's just got to remain that way. God does it. And if we're children of Abraham, we believe it just that way. What God says, that's it. No more to it.

Genesis 15:2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

Genesis 15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Genesis 17:16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

56 Now, he said, "How will I know it, Lord?" Oh, this beautiful thing! Don't miss it, now. Read it when you go home, the confirmation of the gift, what He was going to give to him now. Watch what He did, in the 15th chapter.
"Abraham," He called him out, said, "go get me a young heifer of three years, and bring me a she-goat of three years, and a sheep of three years and bring them." And Abraham cut them in pieces, and laid them down. And said, "Bring me a turtle dove and a young pigeon." But he didn't ... you notice, he did not cut the pigeon, or turtle dove. He never divided that. He did the animal sacrifice. He did. But he did not do the birds, cut them... Why?
God never changes his covenant upon divine healing---because that was the divine healing: turtle dove, or a young pigeon. They pull the head off, and let the blood drip upon the mate. And then the mate turn loose, and it went around flopping its wings, and the blood splattered out, crying, "Holy, holy, holy unto the Lord." That's cleansing of leprosy, what they did for a cleansing. You see, the...
And that's the very type of our mate, Christ, being killed---his blood upon us. And we spray it across the earth, calling, "Holy, holy, holy," the dead mate, Christ, who died in our stead.

Genesis 15:9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

57 Now, he never cut the birds in two, but he cut the animals. Now here's a beautiful picture. I don't want you to miss it now, class. But... (I don't think that that would do to tear that. I'll tear this.) All right.
Now, in the old country, back in the Orient... Now we have different ways that we make a covenant. What do we Americans do? We go out, say, we go to have something to eat. And I want to talk, like a business thing ... Mr. Borders here, our campaign manager. I'd say, "Mr. Borders, I'd like to talk over some things."
What do we do? We go out and have a sandwich, and cup of coffee, or whatever we do. Sit there, and talk awhile. Then we get up, we talk about what we're going to do. And I say, "Would you like to do that?"
"Yes."
And we shake hands. That's a covenant. We made a covenant. We made a promise to one another, and shook hands on it. That's the way we do it.
I was telling a brother here, "I'll come down and hold a revival for you, brother."
He'd say ... well, we might be sitting at the table talking, and then we get up and I'd say, "It's agreed?"
"It's agreed." Shake hands with one another, "Put her here." It's an agreement; we've agreed.
Now, do you know how they do in Japan? They talk it over with one another, and they take a little bit of salt out of a cruse, and throw it on one another. That's a keeper ... a savor, see, salt. They sprinkle salt on one another when they make a covenant with one another.

58 But in Abraham's time, when they made a covenant one with another, they made it different. Now when they made a covenant one another in the Orient in that time... Now watch the way Abraham... God confirmed this covenant right with him, and watch how He did it. He'd taken the sheep and the sacrifice, and cut it in two, and laid it out there. And now, notice then, Abraham watched the birds off of it---kept the sacrifice clean. Oh, brother, keep the vultures off of it.
That's what I'm trying to do now, keep the old worldly, Hollywood vultures out of the Pentecostal church. Keep them out, away from our women, and away from our brothers, and things like that. And you can have all the big, silly jokes and things you want to tell. Let them have it. That's their kingdom.
We're not of this world. Our kingdom is not this world. We live here as Americans, but our soul come from above. When... He said, "He that believeth on me hath eternal life." That eternal life comes from the word "Zoe," and Zoe is God's own life. We are a part of his life.

Genesis 15:11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

59 At the beginning He was El ... Elohim, the all-self-existing one. In Him was attributes to be a father, to be a saviour, to be a healer; and these things only display for his attributes, see? That's what it is. That's what makes us see...
First He created... He wasn't God to begin with, because God's an object of worship. So He created angels so He could be God. And then He put man on free moral agency for his own holiness. And when He did that, then man fell. Then He become a saviour. See, it's just displaying his attributes. Nothing's out of line. It's going... Don't think the devil's putting it over on God. He's boss. He knows where it's all at. That's right. He knows where it's at.
What do you say? "What are do you doing then, the preaching?"
He told us to go and cast the net in, and pull them out on the bank. And He knows which is fish, and which is crawfish; and what's snakes, and turtles, and terrapins. He knows all about it. But they was that to begin with. That's right. It's just our business to throw the seine in, and pull it out, say, "Here they are, Lord. Here they are, Lord."
First thing you know, Mrs. Water-spider sit there a little while, say, "Huh! I don't believe in that. My pastor don't..." Flop, flop, right back to the mud again. That's right.
Brother, that fellow when he come out, if he was a fish to begin with, he's a fish at the end of the road. Yes, sir. His name was put on the Lamb's book of life before the foundation of the world.
He said, "My sheep hear my voice. A stranger they will not follow." They'll hear the Word. "As many as I love, I rebuke, and chasten." Be zealous and repent and come back. That's the ... that's the age... That's the message we're getting now.
Come back [blank space] our spirit come there, where it's holy and pure. Our hearts should be set, our affections, on things above, where God is at. We're children of God. Now, we'll notice here just in a little bit.

Matthew 13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

60 Now, when Abraham kept all the vultures off of the sacrifice until the sun went down... That's what we've got to do now. Keep the vultures off until the morning breaks. That's all that matters. Yes, sir. Now, watch what happened. And as soon as they did, a deep sleep fell upon Abraham, see.
Now, sleep means death. And when he opened his eyes, he looked. There was a smoking furnace. That is where every sinner goes, where we all deserve to go. A smoking furnace ... went out. That's hell, where every man and woman that's borned in sin, shaped in iniquity, come to the world speaking lies---that's exactly where we deserve to go.

Genesis 15:12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

Genesis 15:17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

61 But notice. Then after that, there come a little white light, and this little light went between these pieces of sacrifice. What was God doing? Making his covenant with Abraham. Oh, brethren, not by works, now, but by grace---nothing you can do.
He's showing Israel that He saved Israel right there by grace, without any works. The covenant of Abraham wasn't, "Abraham, if you'll do a certain thing, I'll do it." He said, "I have done it." God means for people to live by grace, not by law. We get so legalistic till, "Well, it'd be wrong for me to smoke. It'd be wrong for me to run around on my wife."
It's love, brother. Not because ... if you love your God, you won't do any evil things because you love Him too much. Not because I oughtn't to do it; I oughtn't to do it. It's because you love Him so much you don't want to do it. Worshipper once purged has no more conscience, or desire to sin. When he's once purged in the blood of Jesus Christ he has no more desire to sin. The things is gone from him. You don't have to...
Some says, "It don't hurt my conscience." Well, some people hasn't got no more conscience than a snake's got hips. So, we know that there's no such a thing as that. It's not conscience anyhow; it's your spirit. God's Holy Spirit. There you are. Your love for Him, you love Him.

Hebrews 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

62 Now notice. Then, how did they write a covenant in the old days? They killed the sacrifice. Now, that light was God, showed him where he ought to go after his death. He should go to hell. But beyond that went this little white light, going between these sacrifices.
Now, in the Old Testament, say... Come here, Brother Borders. Now we're going to make an agreement, Brother Borders and I, like the Old Testament. Now, the first thing we do, we sit down here, and I write up, "I will do a certain thing, a certain thing." That's my agreement. Then we kill the sacrifice. We open it up, stand between the sacrifice, you and I. And we make a covenant one with another. And when we do that, we tear this.
Now a certain time, we're going to come back. And you keep that part, and I'll keep this. Now, here we are. Now that cannot be matched. It cannot, see, because it's a paper, and the letters is cut this way, and the little fuzzes, and things. It has to match perfectly, exactly.

63 He said, "By this, you'll know what my covenant is, Abraham." Abraham, being spiritual, knowed it. Why? That's exactly what God did. He took his covenant seed, which the real seed was the promised One ... through faith come forth out of Isaac, come forth Christ. Christ was God's covenant. And what He did, He took him up to Calvary, just like Abraham did his own son a few days afterwards---or a few years afterwards, after he was born.
What did He do? He took Him on Calvary, and He tore Him apart. Oh, my! Tore Him apart! He raised his body up on Easter morning, and set Him on the right hand of his throne. But the Spirit that was in Him was sent back down to the church.
So, the church, when this covenant is brought into its full strength, when the covenant is confirmed with God, the church---the people that goes into this body here to be his bride---will be exactly the same Spirit that was upon Christ; doing the same things, the same ministry, the same power, and will come together and be word by word the same, confirming the covenant.

64 Now look at today. Look what we see today, and find out. What'd I say about the pyramid? It'll have to be honed, and so perfectly set in---all the shavings and everything---to ... that headstone will have to fit just perfectly in, see. The rejected headstone will have to become back.
The covenant, the life that was in Christ, is in the church, the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, "A little while and the world won't see me no more. Yet ye shall see me, for I [I is a personal pronoun], I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world. And the works that I do shall you do also." Whew!
Don't you see it? What is the covenant church confirmed? Is the one that has the Holy Spirit. We who are dead in Christ, we take on Abraham's seed, and are heirs with Him according to the promise. If you have never received the Holy Ghost yet, you have never come into the covenant of God.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

65 One of my Baptist brethren come to me, not long ago, upon... A certain brother wrote in "The Voice Of Healing" about two angels coming down with fluffy feathers. And he fell, and he took him up through to God, the Father, and all. And he said, "What about this, Billy?"
I said, "Now, wait a minute. I never wrote that article. I don't have nothing to do with it."
He said, "Ahh! See you've got away from the good old fundamental Scripture."
I said, "No, sir. I'm right with it."
He said, "Billy, do you mean to tell me that you think that them Pentecostal people has something different from us Baptist?"
I said, "No, they just have more of what you've got a little of," see. I said, "That's what it is, see, just have more of it."

66 Here, not long ago, I was up... Dr. Aegery may be sitting here tonight, Dean of the Bethany College, the Lutheran College. He wrote me a letter, and if he didn't bawl me out! He said, "I drove fifteen miles through a blinding snowstorm to hear a servant of God. And what did I find but a polished-up soothsayer." He said, "And..."
Oh, he just tore me all to pieces. Said, "A man that speaks to the people that you do ... and the rottenest theology I ever heard in my life." He said, "You said that Satan don't heal."
Said, "Now, we've got a woman in our community out there that's got a familiar spirit. She has a big apron on. She has people come drop money in there.
"Then she'll take, and pull some of her hair out; and pluck their veins, and she'll put the hair and blood together, and walk down to the stream behind her, throw it over her back. She starts walking to the people. And if she's constrained to look around, the disease goes back to the people. And if it doesn't, it's cast away."
And said, "We watched. About twenty percent of those people are healed. And then you stand up in the pulpit, and say that Satan can't heal." Oh ... he wouldn't call me brother. He said, "I was preaching before you was born."
Oh, he just really raked me over the coals. I thought, "Well, okay. That's all right. I appreciate that."

67 So, I thought, "With twenty-two pages, I ought to answer him at least one page back, to show him my fellowship."
So I got me a little book, and I sat down, and I said, "Dear Brother in Christ." I said, "Christian greetings to you." If a man's preached that long ... he deserves to be respected if he's preached the gospel, even if it's in error. I said, "The first thing I want to say, I forgive you for what you said.
"Now, Jesus said... People come to see Him and performed the same things that you seen done, going out and perceiving the thoughts of the people, and telling what was, and what would be. And they called Him a Beelzebub, a fortune-teller, a devil.
"And Jesus said, 'I'll forgive you for that. But someday the Holy Ghost is coming to do it. And you speak against that, it will never be forgiven you [so then] in this world, neither in the world to come.' "
I said, "What if this was right then, where's your fifty years of preaching gone, see? What good did it do you? You're lost, and can never be saved." I said, "But I want ... through ignorance you said it." (So just ... kind of pinch him a little bit, to let him know we wasn't in the dark.)

Matthew 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Mark 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Luke 11:15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

68 So then, he said ... I said, "But the idea of it is, what I'm studying about, my brother," I said, "what gets me is for you to say that Satan can heal." I said, "Jesus Christ said if Satan can cast out Satan, then his kingdom is divided against himself." Right.
"Jesus said he could not heal. Now you said he can, and Jesus said he could not. Then who's right? Said, 'Let every man's word be a lie, and mine be true.' " I said, "Therefore, then Jesus is right, and I accept his word, my brother."
I said, "But howbeit," I said, "certainly, I can see where the healing comes." I said, "We've got people in the land today called divine healers, go around saying 'Glory, I got healing in my hand. Whew! Feel it?' No, you don't. You feel the hand, not healing."
Jesus never did say, "Do you feel it?" He said, "Did you believe it?" That's right. Not, "Did you feel it?" All these sensations, and all things, brother, it's something mythical---made up. It's not God's Word. "He that believeth... ," that's where it's at---faith in the finished work.
Christ died, healed you at Calvary. He saved you there. You've got to accept it by faith, like the rest of us does. That's right. You believe it. You don't have to stay there, and beat, and cry all night. You could cry till you got gray-headed, and laid on the altar, and die. Until you accept that blood sacrifice that God gave for you, you're lost.
I don't care how you feel. I don't go by how I feel. I feel a lot of times like I'm way behind. But the Bible says I met God's requirements.

Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Matthew 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

Mark 3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

Luke 4:3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

Luke 11:18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

Luke 11:25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

69 Jesus defeated the devil on the Word. He said, "If thou be the son of God, command these stones to be turned to bread..."
Said, "It is written man shall not live by bread alone."
He defeated him with the Word of God, and that's how we defeat him, is by the Word of God, "Thus saith the Lord." Correct.
Say it's a soothsayer? Then why did God say, "If there be one among you who's spiritual, or a prophet, when he speaks, and what he says comes to pass, hear him 'cause I'm with him." How do all these scriptures bring that down to this last days? See, they just don't understand.
They just can't understand. It's a revelation of God through his Word. They come ... they didn't believe Him when He come. They don't believe the church today when it's coming into existence. They don't believe it, because it don't cope with their theology. But it copes with the Word, God confirming his Word with signs following. That's the vindication: if He says this, and it comes to pass. If we preach the baptism of the Holy Ghost and somebody gets it, that proves it's right.

Jeremiah 28:9 The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

70 Now, notice. And Dr. Aegery ... when I talked to him, I said ... wrote this letter. I said, "Sure, I've been in Africa, and seen them get healed by a mud idol." I said, "I've been over by Alsace Lorraine in France, and seen them people go up there to that woman---some dead woman---and see them get healed. Why? Because they believe they are approaching God through that idol, see? And God has placed divine healing on the basis of your faith. That's the reason He didn't separate these turtle doves, and things, see?
"It's upon your faith, if you believe it. And them people think they are approaching God. These Americans think they're approaching God through a divine healer. The Africans think he's approaching it through his witch doctor. That witch up there behind your house, them people think they're approaching God. And God recognizes their faith. That's all. But," I said, "they'll answer for it the day of judgment for such as that."
But I said, "What alarmed me, as a Lutheran dean to base his theology upon a experience, instead of the Word of God." Thought I'd let him know that we wasn't dummies, anyway.
How would he base his experience upon a ... how would he base his teaching upon an experience---some woman done something, another, instead of what God said. God said Satan can't heal, and that settles it for me. That's right.

And he said, "Well, we are thirsting for God here." Said, "We want God." And he said, "We read about the Pentecostals." And he said, "What do you think about them? Now you was a Baptist once."
I said, "Yes, sir. I was." I said, "I'm a Pentecostal Baptist now." He said ... I said, "I'm a Baptist that's got the Pentecostal experience." See, I said, "Pentecost, Doctor, is not an organization. You can't organize Pentecost. It's an experience, see, for Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, and everybody. It's an experience. It's not just down to...
"The Assemblies isn't the only ones that's got the Holy Ghost. The Oneness isn't the only ones that got the Holy Ghost and Foursquare. 'It's whosoever will, let him come.' That's it." He liked that, and I said, "That's the way it is."

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

72 And he said, "Well, I want to ask you something." Said, "I've seen them kick over the chairs, knock out the window lights, and fall on the floor."

Said, "What is that?"
I said, "The Holy Ghost."
He said, "The Holy Ghost?"
I said, "Yeah. They're blowing their steam all out the whistle, instead of putting it together and making the wheels roll, see. They don't just know how to... See, if you'd ever get them to stop down to a place ... and put some of that power into steam in the valves; to make it push the cart, to have signs, wonders, miracles; and great fire on the soul like that, moving on, it'd do something, see."
I said, "But they blow it all out the whistle, and that's just all there is to it." I said, "It shows they got steam, anyhow."

73 And so, he said, "Well, what do you think we Lutherans has got?"
I thought, "Oh, oh! Oh, Lord, You help me here." And the Lord gave me something. 'Cause they got about ... thousands of acres there of corn and stuff that they raise. The student body, if they can't pay their way through school, then they can work their way through on the farm. So they had this big corn crop in out there.
And I said, "Dr. Aegery, one morning there was a man who had disked up his field, and had a nice big, fine field of corn. And he planted corn. And then every morning he'd go look for the corn. Finally one morning he went, he seen two little blades. Anybody ever raise corn, that's how it comes up. And the man said, 'Praise God for my crop of corn.' " I said, "Now, did he have a crop of corn?"
He said, "No."
I said, "But potentially he did, see. Potentially he did." I said, "That was you Lutherans in the first reformation." I said, "Finally that growed on and on, till a tassel come out on it. That was the Methodists. And the Methodists looked back down at you Lutherans, said, 'You all haven't got anything. We believe in sanctification. You all just believe in justification. See, you're not even in it.'

74 "But wait. The first thing you know that tassel is a pollen. It had to use the leaf again. So the pollen drops off into the leaf, and it brought forth a Pentecostal church." I said, "It's the original grain, like it went in the ground. The grain come out." I said, "We got a lot of fungus on the ear, but still there's some grains there, too." I said, "That's right." I said, "We got a lot of fungus on it. I'll admit that. But," I said, "it was the original grain that went in."
And I said, "Then, you know what the ear said?" He said, 'You old Lutheran, and you old Methodist--- not even in it at all.' But," I said, "after all, the same life that was in the blade made the tassel, and the blade and tassel made the ear." I said, "Only thing the Pentecostal church is, is an advanced Lutheran church." Amen. Same life, but more of it! That's what's the matter tonight, brother. Don't try to go back down to the root again. Be alive! Advance. Move on up.
That's what I said to my Baptist brother.

75 He said, "Brother Branham, Abraham believed the Lord, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness." I said, "That's exactly."
Said, "Brother Branham, I want to ask you one question." This fellow's a Doctor, and me a dummy. So he said, "I want to ask you one question." He said, "What could a man do but believe? That's all he could do."
I said, "That's right."
He said, "Then, if we believe God, we have received the Holy Ghost when we believed?"
I said, "No, that won't cope with Paul's teaching." I said, "Paul said in Galatians 1:8, 'If an angel taught anything else let him be accursed.'
"Paul said to them in Acts 19, he said, 'Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed [not when you believed, but since you believed]?'
"They said, 'We don't know whether there be any Holy Ghost.'
"He said, 'Then how was you baptized?'
Said, 'Unto John.'
"'He only baptized unto repentance (Then you should believe on Him who was come), not for remission of sins.'
"When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. And Paul laid his hands on them, and the Holy Ghost came on them. And they spoke in tongues and prophesied."
"Well," he said, "what about it?"
I said, "Look. If you say you got faith in God, and He's never... See, Abraham believed God, and then God gave him circumcision as a sign, or a confirmation, that He'd accepted his faith." And I said, "If He's never give you the baptism of the Holy Ghost yet, He's never give you the confirmation [Amen!] that you're Abraham's seed."

Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

Acts 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

Acts 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

76 And how are we sealed in the kingdom of God? Ephesians 4:30 says, "Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed until the day of your redemption" [amen], all bridges burnt behind you. Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed [you're Abraham's seed] until the day of your redemption. Oh, how I love that---God giving confirmation of a sign that He had received his faith.
And what did He say about how He would continue this faith of the seed? He tore Christ apart. Took his body up, and set it up there as a bloody sacrifice, sitting at the right hand of God, making intercessions upon our confession---a high priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmity---same yesterday, today, and forever.
And his Spirit ... was upon Him is back in the church, doing the same works that He did, carrying on the same thing, shaping up the church for the headstone to come to it some day. Hallelujah!

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

77 Oh, I feel religious. You're going to call me holy roller anyhow, so you might as well get started.
Here it is up there, when I see that one perfect Man sitting ever ... governor and ruler, is God over all---the top of the building, sitting up there on that pyramid. That great magic, great power, great God coming down out of heaven, sitting, moving itself, right down among these stones sitting there.
And when... Luther just had so much faith, Wesley just had so much, Pentecost just had so much. But He's binding those stones together where they fit stone by stone. Hallelujah! I see it in the making, God confirming by the Holy Spirit of God---moving in the church, and doing the same works in life that Jesus lived.

78 If it's a peach tree, it'll bring forth peaches. If it's an apple tree, it'll bring forth apples. I don't care how the outside looks, it shows... The life on the inside of it is what's brings the fruit of it. You get a grapevine, you put pumpkin life into it, it'll bring forth pumpkins. And you change it right back, and take a pumpkin vine and put grape life in it, it'll bring forth grapes.
Whatever life is in... I don't care what title it's got---Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, whatever it is---take pumpkin life and put it into a grapevine, it'll bring pumpkins. This is a Pentecostal church. You got old pumpkin life into it. Get it out, and have a vaccination come back. Amen.
I see you've got trees up here, bring about nine kinds of different citrus fruit. Seen them over in Arizona the other day. There was an orange tree had lemons, and all kinds of citrus fruit, grapefruit... That's the way it is. Jesus said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches." That's right. And if the first branch...
Now remember, the vine does not bear fruit. It's the branch that bears the fruit. Now, if that first branch come forth and produced a Pentecostal church, they wrote a book of Acts behind it. If that branch ever brings forth another one, it'll be the same kind of a Pentecostal church, have the same signs and same wonders.

John 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

79 Now, but you say, "What about these others?" They're grafted. "What about Methodist, what about Baptist, what about the called-Pentecost?" Grafted vine. Don't bring the fruit. Why, they don't... Get themselves out here and colonize themselves. "We're so-and-so. We ain't got nothing to do with you."
That's not the life of Christ. He died to save his enemies---his arms out, even prayed for them, spit hanging in his face---and prayed for them to be saved. Oh, yes, see.
But what is it? What was that ... what kind of fruit does that grafted lemon bring in that orange tree? It don't bring oranges; it brings lemons. That's what the church does. It brings forth Methodist. It brings forth Baptist. It brings forth Presbyterian. But if that vine itself puts forth a branch, it brings forth oranges. It's original, coming out of...
But the churches thrive, and live, and have the favor and life through Christ---that's been grafted in there. But the real tree itself is the Holy Spirit, that brings forth a borned-again man, a borned-again woman, the power of the resurrection living among them. Amen.

Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

80 He confirmed it, showed Him what He would do, how He would tear his own Son. Spared his son over here in Genesis 22:14. We find that He spared his son there, showing what He would do. Cross on his back---we'll get that tomorrow night, as He goes up Calvary. Don't miss it.
Now notice. Now we're going to get one more statement here. I see I got about three minutes. Now in the 17th chapter, let's get this. This is beautiful. Watch. Three times he made mention of the confirmation of the covenant. Genesis 13:14, when he separated himself, obeyed. Then He told him, "I'll make thee like the sands of the seaside"; then Genesis 15 here, "like the stars of heaven." Genesis 17:1, He appeared to him after the great trial, where Sarah had went off of the line.
God would have slew Sarah. Oh, here's a beautiful thing. When he doubted ... when Sarah doubted God, God would have got rid of her. But He couldn't do it. Why? She's part of Abraham. That's the reason when we do wrong, God would slay us. I could never come here and preach a revival. No other preacher could. You'd never have a revival. You'd be cut off forever. But He can't do it. He cuts his own Son off if He does, see, for the wife is a part of the husband. They're no longer twain; they're one. So He couldn't hurt Sarah without hurting Abraham. So He had to take Sarah in.
That's the way God does to us. Our sins ... He'd depart from us long ago, but we're in Christ. Amen. See, so He forgives us of our sins so ... all of our mistakes.

Genesis 13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

Genesis 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

Genesis 13:16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.

Ephesians 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

81 And after Abraham had come through that big test, and had this son of Ishmael, which was absolutely... God told him to listen to Sarah. But He brought forth this son after that great test. Then He met him in the 17th chapter of Genesis, mark it down and read it when you get home. Haven't got time to strike it but just a moment. He appeared to him in the name of Almighty God. Almighty comes from the Hebrew word of El Shaddai. Shaddai ... Shad means a woman's breast. Shaddai is a plural, two. Then He appeared to him. "I am the breasted God." Oh, what a consolation to an old man!
"How am I going to have this baby, Lord? I'm a hundred years old." He was ninety and nine. So he said, "How me, an old man, and my woman here that you told me I was going to have the baby by, she's ninety and I ... or, eighty-nine she'd be, and I'm ninety and nine. How could it be?"
But "I am the breasted one," both New and Old Testament. "I was wounded for your transgressions. With my stripes you were healed." Oh, the breasted one. What is the breast for? For the fretting baby.
You take the little baby that's sick, and fretting, the mother picks it up, puts it upon her bosom. It nurses the mother's strength, nursing itself back to health.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

82 Now, if we're all crippled up with sin, and got out in the Hollywood fashions, why not just come up to El Shaddai?
How many'd like to see a real Holy Ghost-filled church here, just power of God? Sure. Well, what do we do? We ... El Shaddai, the breasted one. If you want salvation, lean on his breast, and nourish your spiritual strength out of his Word. Here's his breast, both New and Old Testament, set down.
He's the same yesterday, today, and forever---the same milk that comes from one mother's breast, or the other, just exactly. But it's just two different phases of it. He was wounded... If you're sick, why not just hold on to his breast of promise? "I was wounded for your transgressions. With my stripes you were healed." What do you have need of tonight? Just lean upon his breast.
And another thing, did you notice? "El" means the strong one; "Shaddai" the sufficient one, the life giver, the almighty, strong one. "Abraham, you're a hundred years old, old and weak. But I am your strength."

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

83 Now, the little baby when it's nursing, not only ... but it's a satisfier, see. The baby on its mother's breast is satisfied. He can be screaming, his little belly hurting, and kicking, his little strength is all gone. But he'll lay right upon his mother's breast like that, and quit crying. Nurse, go ahead. It'll be all right. Why? Because it's satisfied.
And when I can show you in this Bible that He forgives all of our iniquities (O God!), heals all of our diseases... Let me just take a hold of that promise, and say, "Father God, I'm weak. I need You. I know You keep your Word. You're El Shaddai. I'm believing You, Lord.
"Fill me with your Spirit. Wash me in your blood. Take me back, O Lord, and try me. Let me lean against the bosom. I'm your child. I was born to You, but I got weak. But you're my strength-giver. You promised You would do it, and I'm just going to hold right here, Lord.
"And I'm going to be satisfied that You'll fill me with your Spirit, wash me in your blood, take away all my condemnation. Heal my body, and make me well." What a promise it is, to confirm his promise to Abraham, "I'm El Shaddai."
Well, "Brother Branham, I'm a ... I'm a prostitute. I'm a drunkard. I'm a ... I'm an alcoholic. I'm all these." I don't care what you are. Come right up to El Shaddai. If your strength and all hopes is gone, the Alcoholics Anonymous has given you up, the doctor has given you up, there's nothing can be done for you, He's El Shaddai, the strong one. Lean upon his bosom, and just nurse, and be satisfied. He'll bring it to pass. Don't you love Him?
I love Him (why wouldn't I?), I love Him,
Because He first loved me;
And purchased my salvation
On Calvary's tree.
Let's bow our heads now, while we sing quietly.
I love Him (real quiet and reverent),
I love Him (now let the
Holy Spirit speak to you),
Because He (that's it)........
Do you know He invited you? If you're fretting and don't know just where you stand? You say, "I belong to church," and don't know what denomination you belong to? Why don't you just come to Shaddai tonight?
"I've fought the Holy Ghost a long time, Brother Branham. But tonight I'm coming."

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

86 Now, while you're praying, asking God... If you're sick, why don't you put your hand over on somebody sitting by you, pray for them. Let them... Don't you ... now, you pray for them; they'll be praying for you. Put your hand over on one another now.
Now you've confessed that you wanted the Holy Ghost, you wanted salvation. Now, if you want healing, put your hands on one another.
Jesus said, "These signs shall follow them that believe. If they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." Why don't you put your hands on one another, if you're a believer, saying, "Lord, heal this woman sitting by me. Heal this man. They're praying for me, Lord. I want them to pray for me so I put my hands on them." God answers your prayer. That's it.
Pray ye one for another, confessing your faults one to the other, and pray one for the other, that you might be healed. For "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." Heal them, Lord.
Pastor, come here. Finish this prayer. While you're praying for one another, just keep praying. I'm going to ask the pastor to lead us in prayer. God bless you.

1 Good to be out at the house of the Lord again tonight, this place which serves that purpose. And I am very grateful for this opportunity to minister again tonight. Last night we had an exceedingly abundantly great time. I did, anyhow. The Lord poured out his blessings upon me till I couldn't sleep half the night, and then He...
I was reading a little article. Someone wrote me a letter, and sent a little piece in the paper, and the Lord gave me an outstanding thought on it. If He being willing tomorrow afternoon, I want to express it right here, preach on it tomorrow afternoon on the afternoon meeting.
Now we're having ... the reason we are doing ... having the afternoon meeting... Now, Brother Sullivan invited me up to fellowship with his people and you people here, and he opened it up in the armory so it wouldn't altogether be in his church. I think that's real gentleman-like. Don't you think so? Real brotherly.

2 Another thing, we decided that ... we thought it would be nice if we didn't have a Sunday night service so that you people would not miss any of your regular services. You could have Sunday school, and then also have Sunday night service. And some of you members of the churches, I wish you would express that to your pastor, if he isn't in the meeting, that that's the reason we do that. We are not here to try to hinder the cause of Christ; we're here to try to help the cause of Christ, trying to do all we can, to cooperate together in every measure that we can to help the people.
And instead of Brother Sullivan just saying, "Well, now, we'll just have it up to my church," why, he put it in the auditorium so that everybody could see that it wasn't a selfish motive. And then instead of having it on Sunday night we make it Sunday afternoon; which is always a smaller crowd Sunday afternoon than it is Sunday night, but we are not here for money. We are not here to see how many people we can attract; we are only here to try to put our part in for the kingdom of God, to help everybody. That's what we're here for.

3 Now this is off the record, and Brother Sullivan don't know that I know this, but I know up to this time he's short on the finances of the meeting. Now tomorrow afternoon will not be a love offering. It'll be an expense offering. And if the expenses isn't made tomorrow afternoon, I'll wire home immediately to the church, and we'll pay every penny of it off before we leave this city. There'll not be nothing left---no debts we leave behind. If we don't make ... don't get the expenses tomorrow afternoon in the love offering, you make it a love offering to the Lord Jesus instead of me, so it can go to pay the debts.
Now Brother Sullivan was going to pay that himself, but he ain't going to do that. No. I ain't going to let him do that. No, we're going to do it ourself. And then, if there isn't sufficient to finish the meeting, then I will find out and we'll wire the money up here from our own church at Jeffersonville to finish the debt, to finish the ... so everything is paid off---the chairs, the auditorium, the advertisement. Whatever there is to be met, we'll pay it all off. We'll see that it's paid off. Won't be no more than right to Brother Sullivan and the people.
Now, if you would, I wish you would ... if your pastor isn't here, if you'd invite the church to come out tomorrow afternoon. It'll be a prophetic message that I think that... Seems to me that the Holy Spirit laid upon my heart, after reading an article today, that I should bring that message tomorrow.

4 And now, then the next services that I have as far as I know is Easter Sunday at the Tabernacle, where there'll be baptismal services, and so forth. Then we go to Bloomington, Illinois.
Brother Sullivan invited me to stay a couple days of next week, if I could. I'm just too tired to do it, friends. My throat's gone. I'm just ... I've been in services since Christmas, see, and I'm really, really tired; and look forward to this three, or four, or five days, whatever it is there, to rest.
And I can't stay at home to do that. I just have to go out somewhere and rest, because I've got Sunday through Sunday, and then I go from there to Chicago, Sunday through Sunday. And then from there to Grand Prairie, British Columbia ... or Alberta, and from there to Dawson Creek, British Columbia, and perhaps Fort St. John, on and on, and down in Miami, Florida.
And maybe over here at Washington, DC, this summer in a big tent, the Lord willing. The Businessmen there sent word down the other night, so lovely. When we was in Richmond, the Businessmen of Washington, DC, sent me a special letter, that the meeting we had there that night, one night---and I believe it was in Congress Hall, or some hall there in Washington---they want to come back again and put up a great big tent.
And they said if we didn't make expenses down at Richmond, why, they would just not say nothing about it. They'd make it themselves, the Christian Businessmen. Now that's really standing by you. But the Lord come in, and we made the expenses. Everything all went all right at Richmond. So, I may be going up there, if not a meeting, just for the fellowship of those precious brothers who are standing by in times like that.

5 Now be sure to remember tomorrow afternoon. That'll begin, I guess Brother Sullivan's already told, two o'clock, and ... say, by the way, if we don't ... I believe they give out some cards last night. I believe Billy told me they gave out cards last night, number A. And I got too late to call---call them up here to pray for them---and I'll try to get them tonight, if I can. If I don't, I'll sure get them tomorrow. And I'll have him come down tomorrow.
And in the afternoon we can keep running over, over, over. A little later we have to say we're going in at four o'clock, so we can run over till five, and we can get everybody prayed for. And then, if they're going to ... if you got any sick people now that you want me to pray for... I have a very strange feeling about some things. So, you better have them here tomorrow. And so, it may be after awhile that you won't hear me no more. So, if you want me to pray for your loved ones, then you bring them in tomorrow afternoon, and then we'll give them a prayer card.
If you start at two, you'd better be here by quarter after one, or one-thirty at the least, see. And I'll have Brother Leo, Gene, and Billy, and them, to come down, give the people their prayer cards, whatever you ... anybody that wants a prayer card. And you know the system, the way we do them. We ... tomorrow we'll probably just give them out, because we're just going to try to see how many of the people that's sick that wants to be prayed for.

6 Now, before we go any farther, let's speak to our great Lord and Master, the Lord Jesus, in whom we have our infinite trust in Him and his amazing grace. How many would like to be remembered in prayer? Just let it be known by an uplifted hand. The Lord bless you, my people, while we bow our heads.
Our most holy and righteous God and Father, we come into thy presence tonight with humble hearts, and spirits that are ready and willing to receive of thy message.
We would ask You to anoint us, Lord, to finish this chapter on Abraham and his children after him. I pray that You'll bless the message tonight, and the messenger and those who receive it. Get glory unto Thyself.
And if it be thy will that we pray for the sick, may there be an exceeding abundance of joy and power among us tonight. Save those who are not saved; heal those who are not healed. Fill with the Holy Spirit those that are seeking your power and blessings. Give grace to us all, for we ask it in Jesus' name. Amen.

Gene, I wonder if I could ask you, or somebody, get the boys at the doors, wherever they go out, or somebody. What are they selling them for? They're ten cents? If you haven't got it, you can take it anyhow. I'll pay for it, see. I want you to read this testimony here of the vision.
Just ... I want every person in here to have one. If you can't, why, you just charge them to me. And everyone be sure to get one tonight. They're "The Voice of the Christian Businessmen," and they wrote a vision in there that the Lord gave me recently, and it just set my heart afire. They don't have it all in here.

He never put it in there about when I seen my ... I don't think he put it in there anyhow, about seeing my dog and my horse coming to me, see. I think maybe that's a question amongst people, when they think of the animals being in the kingdom. But they are.
Where is those horses that come got Elijah? Where's that one Jesus was coming ... riding on, and the armies of heaven? See. When's the wolf and the lamb going to feed together? See. Surely. You just think... We just get our cut ideas, and if something don't suit that, well, then we just don't want nothing to do with it. That's just the trouble. But however, that's all right. And there's enough there.

2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

8 And then you notice down at the bottom it had... Did you read the little inset at the bottom about raising the dead? Now, remember before you publish anything you have to be able to prove that. So we've got documented statements from doctors, mayors of the city, and so forth like that, that doctors pronounced them dead, and gone for as many as eight to ten hours, and coming back to life again through prayer. So it's a documented statement. This book goes all over the world, and translated in different languages and everything, just like a "Reader's Digest" amongst the Christian people, and it has to be authentic. And you have to prove those things when you say them. You have to be...
So the one they got to prove was, before you could write that, was down there in Mexico about three years ago, when I was down there and that little Spanish woman holding that baby. It died that morning at nine o'clock, and the Lord raised it back to life at ten o'clock that night, in the meeting. And it was kicking under that blanket.
Standing there, and thirty thousand people about this ... standing, leaning against one another since early that morning, all day in the rain and everything, just to hear the gospel. So people like that is ... God will do exceeding abundance for people when they come together like that, and will believe, and humble their hearts down before God.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

9 Now, I want to read that Scripture over that I read last night, 'cause I want to finish up on that same subject. And we won't stay long tonight. Now, you visitors here, you know where the Full Gospel Tabernacle is here? Brother Sullivan's pastor. All right. That's a good place to go in the morning. You live close to any of these other full gospel churches around here, that's a good place to go to hear the Word of the Lord. So now, attend Sunday school somewhere tomorrow. Just hold your colors, and stay at the post of duty.

10 Now I believe I'm reading from Genesis, the 22nd chapter and the 14th verse:
And Abraham called the name of the place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said unto this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.
The reason I read the Scripture is because if what I say doesn't take effect, surely what He said will take effect. My word is the word of a man. It'll fail. God's Word is his own Word, and it cannot fail. And the word "Jehovah-jireh" means "The Lord has provided for Himself a sacrifice."
Now, last night ... did you enjoy that lesson on it last night? My son, Billy, which is in the back of the building now (He goes back there to listen, to see if he can hear), he said it's very, very much mumbled up, you know. You can't hear it good. So that's the reason instead of preaching I just thought I would kind of talk on the Word awhile, and maybe you could hear it a little better.
See, these armories, like this flat building, wasn't made for meetings like this. They're for basketball, and training. The ceiling's not made right. The acoustics are very, very poor. But we're thankful to the United States Army for the privilege of having a shelter over us tonight, and to come into this place. And we thank them very kindly. The Lord ever bless them.

Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

11 Now, we took Abraham last night and Abraham's seed after him. And, oh, what a blessing we got to show. And to me, how could anyone have one room of doubt of any way, when you see what God promised, and then what God did. It's just like reading the Bible, where it predicts something will happen, then take history and see where it happened.
Now God said that He would bless this blessing and promise upon Abraham and his seed after him; and we find out just exactly each stage that God visited Abraham, He did the same thing to Abraham's seed after him.

12 Then where did we find ourselves last night, brethren? We found ourself at the very end of the road, right down at the last thing, and the church receiving its last sign.
And then to bless it all, He came in among us last night and went throughout the audience, and done the same thing He did at Sodom. Where could there be any slip-up? Where could we be mistaken at?
Then the night before that we'd taken Israel in the wilderness, and showed just exactly what the church of Israel... Now, we find out in I Corinthians, the 10th chapter, it said that all those things happened to Israel for examples to us. Now we find out that they was examples showing what God did for them is just a shadow of what He does there. What He did natural, He's doing spiritual.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

13 You notice in the Bible, in the 12th chapter, the woman ... in the 12th chapter of Revelations, with the moon under her feet and the sun at her head, showing the law fading out. As soon as the sun rises, the moon goes down. The moon is a wife to the sun. Oh, I love that kind of Bible reading. See, the sun and the moon is a type of Christ and the church. When the sun goes down out of sight, it's not down. It's just out of sight to the world. It reflects its light back to the moon, to give light in its absence.
So that's what Christ did when He went into glory. He reflects his light back on his church, to give light until He returns. Beautiful! Oh, my! To think that the sun, if you want ... reflecting its light on the moon to show light, and the light...

Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

14 Also the moon itself is a watchdog. God set the boundaries of the sea, and set the moon to watch it. And the sea, how angry it jumps at the banks. It'd like to destroy everything on the earth, because it did one time, you know. And the sea ... sin heaping the waves, beat those big waves against the banks.
And remember, in the last days was predicted tidal waves, sea a-roaring, men's hearts failing, fear, perplex of nations, distress... That would be the end-time signs. We've went through all of that down along the road.
Now here we are, right up to the last sign to Abraham's children. And even brought in the names of the messengers, just like it was in Abraham's time, to show there's no slip-up nowhere. Bible, "thus saith the Lord," and then the church sits dead. Ball games, attractions of the city, and the worldly things has the church all lured away.
The Bible said they'd be "heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness." Hotel rooms full of drunks, you can't even sleep. Sunday school teachers, people going to church, church members having a little clean American fun---sinful. Oh, this old world's staggering like a drunk man coming home of a morning.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

15 What happens when all these sins begin to get like that in the days of Sodom? Women half-naked, running through the rooms of the hotel; and men drunk, falling behind them. That ain't off somewhere else; that's here. And then what happens? God said, "I've come down to find out whether all these reports are true."
The true children crying out, "Come, Lord Jesus," may be one in a city. As we asked the other night, the Holy Spirit told us in the Bible, "Only seal those who sigh and cry for the abominations did in the city." Where would they be sealed? Where is the sealing of the people?
Let's not be deceived. Let's be right.

Ezekiel 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

16 As the old darky said one time, "I told the Lord I wanted to talk it over with Him now, 'cause I didn't want any trouble at the river." That's right, friends. I don't want any trouble at the river. You don't know what hour you're coming down to that river. You may be there in another fifteen minutes. You may be there before daylight. But there's one thing sure: you're coming to it. So you'd better be sure now.
God doesn't do these things just for play, for stage shows. He does this for his glory, and his honor, because He promised He'd do it. Let's not look at it lightly; but reverently, discreetly, and soberly. "Come to the fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel's veins." Confess your sins and your unbelief. Ask God to be merciful to you as a sinner, to save you for Christ's sake.

17 Sometimes people get in church, and say, "I don't have to ask that. I've already..." Oh, search your life out, friends. See how your faith is recorded with the Word.
Remember, those Pharisees didn't think they needed saving. They were holy, consecrated men. They were ministers. Their fathers was ministers, their grandfathers, their great-grandfathers, their great-great-grandfathers, all of them was ministers. Lived such a life till one mark against them they could be stoned for it. Know the Scriptures? Perfectly know them. And Jesus said, "You are of your father, the devil."

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

18 Watch God. He was showing them the sign of the Messiah, and they didn't believe it. They said, "He's Beelzebub," a fortune-teller. As smart, and as educated, and as consecrated lives as they were living; and yet they were sinners. Why? They didn't commit adultery, they didn't smoke cigarettes, they didn't get drunk, they didn't go to dances, they didn't play cards. But they disbelieved! That's the reason they were sinners.
That's the reason I sling it at Pentecost today. No matter how much you dance in the Spirit, and speak in tongues... I believe in that; but you could speak in tongues like pouring peas on a dry cowhide---and still lost. Right. Never even got...
I've seen witch doctors speak in tongues, and dance in the spirit, drink blood out of a human skull, and call on the devil. Dancing in the spirit, and speaking in tongues, and shouting as hard as they could shout. Certainly. You can't go by that.

Mark 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

19 If you still disbelieve God's Word, just the way it's written, you're an unbeliever, a sinner. God comes down and performs his Word, and makes it manifest and shows it letter by letter, where nobody can rise against it. God stands for it Himself. Then they walk away because of some creed. No wonder we're doomed.
But can you stop it? Somebody said to me the other day, "Can you stop it?"
I said, "No, sir."
He said, "Well, why don't you keep still?"
I said, "How can I keep still? I'm coming to a judgment. My voice will be on the recording there that'll rake the whole generation. I can't keep still. Woe unto me if I do keep still."
I said, "You don't believe in sinning, do you?"
He said, "No."
I said, "Well, what you preaching against it for? If you know the world's going to go on in that chaos, why do you keep on preaching? We've got to give a voice against it! Got to. Truth has got to be known."
God's just. He gives us warning. Why did Noah stand in the door preaching, when he knowed they wasn't coming in? He prepared the ark for the saving of his household. That's what it was. But he had to give the message just the same. God's just. God knew they wasn't coming. He knowed just exactly eight souls would be saved in the days of Noah, just the same as He knows this generation. He knows who will and who won't. But He knows it. That's the reason He said, "As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the coming of the Son of man," see.
We know we're living in a tremendous time, but your duty... Your heart cries out. You can't hold your peace; you got to say it.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

20 Now. Watch what He did to Abraham, showing to his seed. Then you'll have an understanding that these things are not to go to the big nerve centers. The people here ... most of the people that I meet are looking for some great big, wide-world sweeping revival. That's done past. We're at the end. They're looking for great miracles and signs? Just because they don't know the Bible. That's the two prophets of Revelation 11, going to stop the sun, Elijah and ... or Moses and Elijah. That's after the Gentile church is done gone. That's right.
See, that's over in the Jewish, when God turns again to Israel. This church age, read Revelation 1 to 3 and then you'll have it. You see what He gives to the church age, the calling out. The last sign was the appearing of Elijah again on the scene, at the last end-time. And we know that everything that He said will be just the way He said it.

Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Revelation 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Revelation 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

21 Now, we find out that where He called him in the third ... or, the twelfth chapter of Genesis, and justified him by faith, because Abraham believed God. Is that right?
Now, I don't say this... Now, I don't want you to quote this back out among your people, but you see, everything in the Bible travels in threes---a three making one. Now like in the Bible, it is written in here that...
You know God wrote three Bibles. Do you believe that? He wrote one in the sky, one in the pyramid, the other one on paper. Now we know that they make a Ouija board out of the pyramid. They make a Ouija board out of the zodiac. They make a Ouija board out of the Bible. But that don't hinder its truth. Its truths are just exactly the same.

Genesis 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

22 Now if you notice in the zodiac, what's the first figure in the zodiac? Is the virgin. What's the last figure in the zodiac? Leo, the lion. The first coming and the second coming of Christ. He come first by the virgin; comes, the next, the lion of the tribe of Judah. Then the crossed fishes, the cancer age that we're now in, just before that time takes place.
We watch the pyramid. It was built like this. But you notice, the headstone never was put on the pyramid. Did you ever think of that? If you've got a dollar bill in your pocket, look what it says: "The Great Seal," the pyramid. And look above at the stone, the headstone. Never was found. Why? The headstone was rejected---Christ.

23 Look down here in the age of Luther, justification. Plenty of room in here. Just to confess Christ meant have your head chopped off. When they come out of paganism, they'd have your head... You'd be executed for the very witness of saying you was a Christian. Luther. Then what did it do? It heaps up now to the minority, coming down closer. What was next? Sanctification. Then you was called a fanatic, holy roller, or something. That's Wesley's age. What happened next? Then come the Pentecostal, the baptism of the Holy Ghost. But still the church got smaller, in the minority.
And now it goes on, till that has to get to such a perfect place until when that headstone finally comes, it'll fit so perfect... The church will have to be in such a perfect shape until when Christ comes He fits right into it. That's right.
So you see, just speaking in tongues and dancing in the Spirit, that's way down the line here yet. The church...
And remember (if you was ever there in Egypt at the seat of the pyramid), them stones way yonder in the air, weighing hundreds of tons, and so perfectly put together till a razor blade won't even ... honed to a perfect condition, till it fits absolutely perfect without cement.
That's the way the church is going to have to be, so honed down---the Word honing the church---until when Christ comes to take the church, the ministry of the church will pick right up on it, and will raise Luther, Wesley, and Pentecostal and all them, and go up with it. That's right, to take the church up.

24 Now when we find out in justification what He done with the seed of Abraham ... was beginning with Luther. Sanctification, the 15th chapter, when He confirmed the covenant by blood; 17th chapter, He gave the Holy Ghost, the Pentecostal age.
Because, you see, all those other elements was something outside of what the church received from Him, what Abraham received from Him. But when He said "I am El Shaddai [the breast]", inviting Abraham to come nurse his strength from the breast of God, draw in the life of God into himself, that's when the church got the Holy Ghost---when it tasted of the life of God, when it drawed into itself the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Then what did he do? Just Scriptural, as we proved it last night, taking that same ... follow it. God cannot defy his own laws. That's the reason He took his own Son, in the 17th chapter of Matthew, and took Him up on Mount Transfiguration, and positionally placed him, as his law was. He did it.
And then when He did that, then we find out He followed his own laws. And here He took Abraham the same way. You say, "Are you sure of that, Brother Branham?"
The 4th and 5th verse. Yes, sir. See, when He gave Abraham part of his name, positionally put his name on the check the same as his was. His was Elohim. Abraham, see, gave him part of his own name. There's a great revelation there. And you realize I could run that farther than that. But the church, when it ought to be taking strong meat, is still drinking milk. That's right.
So He gave him his own name. Abraham. And then when He did that, the next thing He did after He give him that name, placed that on his name, then what did He do?
He gave him a sign that He was ready to absolutely destroy all sin that was around him, and positionally put his body in condition to receive the promised son that he'd waited on. Exactly what he's done to the church.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Genesis 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Matthew 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

Mark 9:3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.

Luke 9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

25 What was the last sign He give Abraham? Had his back turned to the tent, and told Sarah what she was doing and thinking inside the tent.
And Jesus---the true seed of Abraham, the real true prophet, the God-prophet that came to the earth and manifested the same sign to the ending up of the Jews (think of it!)--- when He came to the earth, what did He do? He said to Simon, "Your name is Simon. You're the son of Jonas," a man who couldn't write his own name. And Simon recognized quickly by the teaching of his father that the Messiah would have a sign like that, and he recognized Him and received Him.
Philip, as soon as he saw it, run told Nathanael, and Nathanael come around the bank with him, and right up there where Jesus was, and Jesus looked at him and said, "You are an Israelite in whom there's no guile."
He said, "When did you know me, Rabbi?"
Said, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the tree, I saw you."
And what did that real, elected, predestinated son of God say? "Rabbi, You're the Son of God. You're the King of Israel."
Said, "Blessed art thou."

Genesis 18:13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

Genesis 18:15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

John 1:42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

John 1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

John 1:46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

John 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

John 1:48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

John 1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

26 Then He goes down to a woman in Samaria, because the Samaritans were looking for a... You know, they were looking for a Messiah. Anybody's looking for a Messiah, He'll come. If you're here looking for Him tonight, He'll meet you. But if you're not looking for Him, He's not looking for you either. If you're not looking for Him, He'll never come to you. But the Samaritans was looking.
Now there's only three races of people on earth: Ham, Shem, and Japheth's people; Jew, Gentile, and Samaritan. The whole breed come from all that.

Matthew 16:9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

John 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

27 And now, notice Peter with the keys to prove that now---Peter with the keys of the kingdom. How many believe God gave him the keys, Jesus did? Sure He did.
And when did he use them? In Acts 2 to the Jews, then went right down to the Samaritans. Although Philip had went down and baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ, but they had not received the Holy Ghost as yet because Peter had the keys. Come down, laid his hands upon them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
And then, that's ... what's the next generation, the next class? The Gentiles. And he went up and opened the gospel to the Gentiles. And from that there was no more need of Simon Peter's keys, because it was already opened to all the world.

Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Acts 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

28 Now, the Gentiles wasn't looking for no Messiah, but the Jews and Samaritans was. How did He declare Himself? The same thing that He did at Sodom.
What did He do to the Samaritans? When the woman come out, the woman, the prostitute, came to the well, or the woman living in adultery. She had six husbands. Five she'd got rid of, and living with one then. And she came to the well to get water and Jesus saw her. And He said, "Woman, bring me a drink."
She said, "It's not customary. We got a segregation around here. You're a Jew, and I'm a Samaritan woman. You shouldn't ask me such a thing as that. We don't have no dealings with one another."
He said, "But if you knew who you were talking to, you'd ask me for a drink."
And the conversation went on till He contacted her spirit. Then He said... He found what she wanted. He said, "Go get your husband and come here."
She said, "I don't have any husband."
He said, "You've said the truth, for you've had five; and the one you're living with now is not your husband."
She said, "Sir [Listen at this woman. Now this is the Samaritan]," said, "Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. Now we know when the Messiah cometh, He'll tell us these things." That was to be the sign of the Messiah.
Jesus said, "I'm he that speaks with you."
And what did she do? She dropped the waterpot, and ran into the city, and said, "Come see a man that's told me the things that I have done. Isn't this the very Messiah?"
And the Bible said the men of the city believed Jesus to be the Messiah, because He had told the woman the things that she had done.
Now you produce one time He did that to a Gentile. He never. But Jesus said... When the Gentiles ... or, the Pharisees and the preachers of that day said He was of the wrong spirit doing that, that his gospel wasn't true because He was tearing down their churches, their organizations, calling them generation of vipers, and everything else---foxes and everything that He could think of. He was really splitting them open.
But yet, He said, "If I do not the works of my Father, don't believe me. But if I do the works of my Father, then believe the works."
That's true of any man. God doesn't back his ministry up, then it's not God's ministry.

Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

John 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

John 4:9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

John 4:16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

John 4:17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

John 4:18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

John 4:19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

John 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

John 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

John 4:27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

John 4:28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,

John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

John 4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

John 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

29 Notice then.
This woman, she said, "Come see this man," and the people of Samaria believed. He never did one more time. He just did it that one time. But the woman told the men that Jesus did it. Second-handedly through the woman, the whole city believed on Jesus, because of that one miracle.
I wonder what's going to happen to America. That prostitute will stand in the judgment, and condemn tens of millions of church members in the judgment, because not only once but thousands times thousands of times it's happened, across the country, around the world---examined by science, every critic it could go through---it's went through and still come out one hundred percent pure, the Holy Spirit, the Word backing it up. Where are we going to stand, brethren, at that day? Just think it over. And that may be before morning. We're at the end. I'll get more in that tomorrow.

John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

John 4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

30 Notice. He placed him, give him the sign what He was, and remember it was God Almighty. It wasn't the man. That was just human flesh there, disappeared just in a little bit. But it was God, making Himself known to the elected, called-out, separated church. Remember, not an organized town, not a city; but a group that was wandering in the deserts, taking the way with the Lord's despised few.
Like always, God's had to call his children into the wilderness, and away from these things. Calling, He showed that sign to him and moved on. And Abraham believed that. Immediately he was changed. When that angel left the scene, Abraham had a changed body, and made ready. And the son come that had been promised.

31 One of these days... The old-fashioned gospel that you hear will be silenced one of these days, and the church will receive a body glorified. You'll have to have that kind of body to go up and meet Him in the air. We can't go in this kind of a body. So those who are looking, those who are listening, those who are taking heed, is the ones that'll be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, and be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air---the expected Son of God that we've looked for since we can recognize that we were Christians.
Remember, we proved that last night, how he went down to Gerar; how that Sarah, an old woman, a hundred years old... Usually I get a letter or two off of that, saying, "Well, they just lived longer lives."
But I want you to notice the eighteenth chapter, and the seventeenth chapter also. The Bible said "they were well stricken in years," stooped, bent down, old. And when they got down there, Abimelech, that king looking for a sweetheart with all those Philistine beautiful women, and yet fell in love with this real old, old, old great-great-grandmother, and would've took her for a wife. But God protected her.

Genesis 18:11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

Genesis 20:1 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.

Genesis 20:2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

Genesis 20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

32 I want you to notice. Here's something, sister. Do you know, Sarah loved Abraham so much till she---that beautiful woman---till she called him her lord; which Paul later said, "whose daughters you are as long as you obey the truth."
Sarah didn't dress in the fashions of the day, like Mrs. Lot did. She was probably the head leader of all the societies there was down there. Her husband was mayor of the city. So, I suppose she was... In their big church of a morning when the bells rang, and they all went out there, I imagine she was a pretty well-known woman. She didn't want to leave that. She was earthbound.

Genesis 18:12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

1 Peter 3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

33 That's the way people today don't want to hear about the coming of the Lord Jesus. Why, it's the most glorious thing I can think of, for Him to split the skies right now. Let's get over it.
Why wouldn't I change this old, dried-up, wrinkled, old age, creaked body that's full of corruption, nothing but skinworms can eat it up; and take the soul in there that loves God, and unite in a brand new, twenty-one year old William Branham, that'll never be old, and never, never, have a heartache, or never die, never be sick; to live with the elected through the ages throughout all eternity? Why, I couldn't think of anything any greater.
That's why I want you to read this witness here, this little thing. I saw it. I know it's the truth. I shook hands there with people who were ... that I knowed. And I was standing---looking at myself laying there on the bed, and here I was standing. It ain't very far away. We don't have very far to go, 'cause I was standing here just as real as I'm standing at this pulpit. And I thought, "Now, here ... there I am laying there, and how could I be standing here?" Just the same as I am right now. There was people, every one of them beautiful.
I can see those women.

34 I've been kind of hard on the women, but I don't mean you Christian women. I mean those who act like they're Christians, and not. See, wants to be Jezebels (no, sir), after the things of the world. I certainly bear down on them, and I just ... I have to do that. I can't help that. But you have to have a bad one to make a good one shine out. You have to have a night so you can appreciate the daylight. You have to have wrong to appreciate the right. It's all working together to God's good, his glory.
You're on a battlefield, not a picnic ground. Battle! Everybody say, "Come be a Christian. Everything will go right." No, sir, it doesn't for a Christian. "All that live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution." You got to be laughed at, and made fun of, stomped at, kicked at, made fun of. "If they called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call them that be his disciples?"
I'll take the way with the Lord's despised few. I've started in with Jesus. O Lord, take me through. That's right. That's my alternative is to go through.

Matthew 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

35 If I looked down tonight, and looked here in this city, looked for the last three months where I've been across the nation; and see the falling away of the churches, the indifference of the pastors, see the indifference amongst the people who come out---look like fish and loaves.
And the first little thing ... got enough temper to fight a buzz saw, and indifferent, nasty. The Pentecostal people, ministerial association want to draw me out of the ring, just because I let a man on the platform that wasn't baptized the way they thought he ought to be baptized. And, oh, such indifference! If I was looking right here, I'd give up. I'm glad God got a hold of me before the church did. I found out about God. That's right. I found out that God was real.

36 Mr. Baxter once---Ern Baxter, used to manage the campaigns for me---said, up in Canada they were ... one time there was a contest to win a new Schwinn bicycle. They had a board that was a foot wide. They had to ride it for fifty or a hundred yards, sitting about three foot in the air. And every one of them there were champions.
Ern said, "I could go downtown, get my mother's groceries, put them under my arms, and come through those street cars, up around the cars, and never touch my handlebars." Said, "I could ride, sit backwards on it, and ride just the same as I could forwards." Said, "It didn't make any difference to me." And nearly all of them were champions, and they were sure they was going to win that Schwinn bicycle.
And they had one little sissy fellow among them. He wasn't too good a rider, and they knowed he wasn't going to win. But when they put them all on the track and started them out, every one of them fell off but this one little sissy boy. He rode right out to the end, got off, received the reward, took the bicycle, and all the fellows got around him, and said, "Tell us how you done it."
Said, "Boys, I'm going to tell you where you made your mistake." Said, "I thought it all out before I got on there." That's a good idea. He said, "You see, you all were trying like this to keep the bicycle on the board, looking right down like this at your bicycle. It made you nervous. You got to wiggling, you fell off. And I seen where you made your mistake." He said, "I never looked what was down here; I just watched the end, and kept steady." That's it.
That's it! Watch the end and keep steady. Just keep moving on. I'd be discouraged tonight if it wasn't for that I'm watching the end, just keeping steady. Move on, no matter what takes place. Just keep ... don't look at that. Just keep looking at the end. That's where you meet God, down there at the end. There's where the rewards are give out. Don't drop off here. Go on to the end. "He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved---Scripture.

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mark 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

37 Now, we find out then that the confirmation ... of Abraham give, and everything, turned out just exactly now. Now watch one law that God give in his church. Not one ... not one thing did He promise Abraham, not one thing did He do to Abraham, but what He's done to ... or give to the church, except one thing---the change of the body. And when He does that...
Now remember, Sarah had to be changed. How many believes that? Raise up your hands. She had to have a changed body. She was a hundred years old. How could she give birth to a child?

38 Abraham, well, the Bible said as a man, he was ... his body had been dead for many years. Read Romans, the fourth chapter, where it said, "Abraham considered not his own body now as good as dead, neither the deadness of Sarah's womb. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong, giving praise to God"; kept moving on. Now, his body was unfertile, sterile, a hundred years old and dead sexually.
Sarah's womb was dead, unfertile, milk veins gone, breast gone, and heart at ... a hundred year old woman go in labor. See, there was ... she was just as good as dead. But then she could not have that baby ... could not receive that promise unless she was changed.

Romans 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

Romans 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

39 Now, "What are you trying to say, Brother Branham?" Listen close. We cannot in these kind of bodies ever receive the promised Son, for He's not coming to the earth. We're to be caught up. Our bodies are to be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, and we're to be caught up to meet Him in the air.
And the last sign was give before the destruction, was that the angel ... showing that God would be dwelling in mortal human flesh, performing that same sign before our bodies was changed. And that's the last sign the church gets.
Show me one thing more that God did to Abraham. Show me one more sign He give him than that sign there. That was the last sign. All that knows, that's Bible readers, say, "Amen." That's the last sign was given. This is the last sign.
Church, hear me in the name of the Lord!

40 Look at my education, my insufficiency of preaching, not holding my subject, and ... speaking like anointed, or educated preachers really speak. Don't you listen to that. You listen to what I'm telling you, the Word of God. God's behind it, because He's proving the Word that's being preached. If you can't believe me...
You say, "Well, Brother Branham don't belong to our organization." Well, believe the works then. Let the organization go, and believe the works. Take it to your own organization. Get them to believe it. You can do a better job then than I can, or you can beat God doing it. God can't do it Himself.

41 Notice. The 18th chapter is where He done this. 17th chapter, now, He give him strength for the miracle---give him the Holy Ghost, in other words. Let him draw God's own life into his own. Now what do we do when we receive the Holy Ghost? We take God's life into ours. Is that right? What? We blend God's life in ours. We're sons of God because we draw from God, the Holy Spirit, that makes us sons of God. What does that do? It gets us ready then for the change.
Oh, brother! It makes us ready for the change that's fixing to come, Spirit-filled. Just lean right on his bosom, and keep drawing. Then we get changed one of these days, that right away, too. I can promise that. The promised Son is on his way.
Now notice. Immediately after that, Sarah become pregnant, and she knew she was going to have this baby. Now she's young, now, beautiful. Even a king fell in love with her. She'd have to be outstanding, or that king would never have fell in love with her you know. She was a beautiful woman... And wanted to marry her, and God protected her.

42 One more thing I want to get to the church. Now, some of you sitting here last night, when the anointing struck me I could feel them little flares in there. I've been trying to think of it. I jotted it down here, so I wouldn't forget it. I caught that last night: that you think, "Well, I did so-and-so. I did so-and-so." Many times I find people won't even come in the prayer line. They won't even take their number when they're called. They're afraid that'll be called up, certain things. Now I used to blast that right out. You all know that. And not unless I'm actually led to do it, I don't do it no more.
Now, you'll make your mistakes. You say, "Brother Branham, no matter what I'd ever do, I'd never be worthy." That's right. But look. You say, "Brother Branham, at one time I didn't believe this message." That's right. I guess many of you didn't. I wouldn't have done it, I guess, myself. I couldn't have done it unless God revealed it to me.
You'd have... It's a revelation. The whole church is built on revelation. Without the revelation you'll never see it. You're blind. The Bible said, I believe Matthew 12, I believe it was, where He said ... though Jesus had done so many miracles before them, yet they could not believe, because Isaiah said, "They got eyes and can't see, ears and can't hear"---and very ... really holy people, the very cream of holiness. So, holiness is not all. Holy living's not all. Faith is the main thing. Now.

Jeremiah 5:21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

43 Listen, church. I want to drop this in here, 'cause I believe the Holy Spirit told me to do it. You may be sitting there, which some of you are---and I know you are---disagreeing with me right now. I can call your name, if you want me to. So, I know that. But I also can see farther than that, that you're going to believe it one of these days.
So, I'm just going to put this in so you'll understand, so I can give you a little spot of grace here. It ain't going to be too long till you're going to change your mind, some of you. Some of you won't.
But remember. When Sarah first heard that man---which she is a type of the church---when she heard that ... seen that sign take place to Abraham, she actually laughed about it in her heart, and she disbelieved and doubted it ever being so. Is that right? At that time, God would have rubbed her name off. Is that right? But He couldn't---she's part of Abraham. They're one.

Genesis 18:12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

44 And if you've really---not been excited, not worked up in emotion, not got some church creed---but really received the Holy Ghost, and you're really part of Christ, and still a little skeptic in your mind, God will not shove you off from that, because He can't. You're a part of Christ. He'll bring you to the truth.
Now if you have never ... you just ... you might have spoke in tongues, danced in the Spirit, and done all these things there. That don't mean you got the Holy Ghost. Oh, my, my! That's a million miles from it.
Jesus never did say... Now remember, I believe that when you receive the fullness of the Holy Ghost you speak in tongues, right. But Jesus never did ... there's no Scripture in the Bible says that that's the evidence of the Holy Ghost. I want you to produce it, if it is. There's no such Scripture as that. Jesus said, "By their fruit you shall know them," and the fruit of the Spirit is not speaking in tongues. That's a gift of the Holy Ghost. After the Holy Ghost has come, that's one of the gifts that goes with it. Preaching, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, all those things are gifts of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

45 They was amazed at the day of Pentecost. Peter said, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost," see. Now. But remember. I believe that when you get so full of the Holy Ghost you... The Bible said, "...stammering lips and other tongues will I speak to this people." Stammering, so full of the Holy Ghost you can't say nothing in your own language. That's when you're filled with the Holy Ghost.
But I believe that when you believe on God with all your heart, and accept Jesus as your Saviour, you've got a portion of that Holy Spirit; 'cause Jesus said, "He that heareth my words, and believeth on him that sent me has eternal life." And there's only one form of eternal life. Then you're just a child. Then you begin to walk into the fullness of the Spirit, and grow in grace. Then you're [Gap in the audio.]

Isaiah 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 14:21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

46 Wesley, and now into Pentecost, the same thing. Then the placing of the son, then the last-sign gift, then the rapture of the body, the change of the body in the rapture.
Now when they come back, Sarah recognized she was to be mother. Oh, she must have been a happy little lady. I can see her now, that black, shiny hair, those big velvet eyes, pretty face. She was a young woman then, probably in her early twenties. Abraham, strong and healthy, young man---changed from an old broke-down fellow to a young man, showing what he's going to do to all the seed of Abraham. Exactly.
And then the first thing you know, they could live like young people. Then they brought forth this young child. And when he was about twelve years old, God said, "Now to make this real sure to all the people, I'm going to prove to them what I'm going to do, show that the seed of Abraham will never doubt my Word. The true seed of Abraham won't doubt my Word."

47 Now here's where you test whether you're really the seed of Abraham or not.
When the church says, "You believe that and I'll kick you out," that don't mean a thing to the seed of Abraham. Not a thing. That just puts him on his road right. That just sets him free.
Here he goes, and ... seeing that he was to be the father of nations. Now God said, "I want you to take this boy of yours, and I'm going to show you in a vision what kind of a looking hill you're going to, a mountain. And you take that boy up there and simply destroy him."

48 Could you imagine what slipped through Abraham's mind as a human up here? "Well, how am I going to be the father of nations? And here I've waited all these years, and got this boy here, and here he is twelve years old, and He takes me out now, and says take him out and kill him. How... ? And He promised me that through this same boy... This is the boy He promised me through Sarah and if I had this boy here, he'd be the father of nations. Now He takes me out to kill him."
That's when the intellectuals begin to work. But the little buzzer kept saying, "What did you believe twenty-five years for him?" That little buzzer said, "Well, then..." It come up in his throat. Then ... make a confession: "I received him as one from the dead. I'm fully persuaded that God's able to raise him up from the dead." That's it.
When this goes to talking down here, this shuts up.

49 As I said the other night, in the garden of Eden the devil chose a part of a man, and God chose a part. God chose his heart; the devil chose his intellect.
And now today ... the church today depends everything upon the intellect, never thinking of the heart, see. And the only thing they can see... "Well, I just can't see it that way." You don't see with your eyes, anyhow. You look with your eyes; you see with your heart. You look and say, "I just don't see it." You're looking at it, but you don't see it. It means you don't understand it. Your understanding comes from your heart.
Now. Here he is now. He doesn't ... he doesn't understand it with his mind. How is he going to do it? His intellect would tell him that. That's his reasoning. But the Bible said we cast down reasonings. Cast them away from us.
Say, "How am I going to get well when the doctor says...? I've done this..."
That don't have one thing to do with it.

50 You get about one out of every five hundred that really believes that. Sits right straight there, and there's nothing in the world will ever change him.
"Well, what do we have to do?" Cull through everything until we find that one. That's right.
God searches through the earth to find one man. O God! When I think of that, it makes my heart burn. God is searching the earth to try to find one man that'll surrender to Him. He's always done it. He found one man in the day of Noah, out of the tens of millions and millions.
People want to... Just like there's too many people like Samson today. Samson gave God his strength, but he wouldn't give Him his heart. God could use his strength, but not his heart. Samson was somewhat a ladies' man, you know, and he just couldn't give him his heart. He had to give that to Delilah. But he gave his strength to God. God used his strength, but he couldn't use his heart.

51 So many today, God ... you'll give your intellectuals to God. "I'll build you a big house; I'll make you an organization. I'll do this, I'll do that." Don't you realize that's the same thing Cain did? It was rejected.
Cain built himself an altar, and made a sacrifice and said, "Here it is. I'll worship you. I believe you. There's my sacrifice. There's my altar. Take it or leave it." That's the man today, the religious man.
Esau the same way. And the church the same way. "I've done this, I've done this, I've done this." It ain't what you done; it's what He done. Give Him your heart, and follow Him.

52 Trying to find a man that will follow Him.
He had one then, Abraham. He was that perfect man. Whatever God said, that was all right. So watch. Could you imagine now... ? Abraham couldn't tell Sarah, the wife. That pretty little Jewish boy, about twelve years old, going to take him up and cut his throat---that would've been a horrible thing to tell Mama. He couldn't tell her.
So the next morning he got up and chopped some wood. He said he "claved the wood," which means chopped it, put it in a sack of some sort, some kind of a skin sack; laid it on the back of the mule, and called to his servants, and said, "Isaac, you and I are going to worship. Let's take the mules along. Mommy, we'll be back in a few days."
All right, he goes on. Up towards the mountains he goes. And remember, he went three days' journey. Is that right? Three days. Now ordinary men, just any man... And him young? Probably twenty years old, twenty-five. When I used to patrol, I walked thirty-two mile every day through the jungles. And we're used to riding all the time. All men done then was (transportation) either riding a mule, or walking. So, I can walk... I could venture to say in the mountains he'd walk at least twenty miles a day.
Well, after he'd walked three days back, then he lifted up his eyes, and saw the mountain that he saw in the vision far off, then got to it. Watch where he was now, from civilization. I love this. This is so beautiful. Don't miss it.

Genesis 22:3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

Genesis 22:5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

53 When they got to the mountain Abraham said to the boys that was holding the mules, he said, "You stay here. Watch the mules. The lad and I, we're going yonder to worship, and the lad and I will return."
"How are you going to say that, Abraham, when you're going there to kill that boy?" What is it? That's that faith. It doesn't know how it's going to happen, but he knows it's going to happen. Oh!
You say, "Brother Branham, you act silly up there."
Well, maybe I do. But I'm feeling awful good. I feel better this way than I did in the old carnal intellectual, so I'd rather stay this a-way.
"You boys wait here with the mules, the lad and I are going yonder to worship, and we will return."
What if the angel stood there and said, "Abraham... ?" Or, what if the devil stood over on one side, said, "Abraham, you told a lie"?
"Oh, no. There's something down here that tells me, if I even have to kill him, I received him as one from the dead; God can raise him back to earth. The lad and I will return." Because why? "God already told me that through this lad would be the seed that would save nations. And He changed my name and put h-a-m on the end of my name, and I'm a father of nations through this lad. And I don't know what God's going to do there, but He's going to do it."

54 Whew! Oh, my! That puts fire ... that gives you something to stand on. That's not one of these Catholic Santa Claus stories of some fictitious something that never happened. That's "thus saith the Lord God Jehovah." Amen! "Makes me no difference how we're coming back, we're coming back. That's all."
Now, if you'd say to a... Here's a man sitting here with a cane, blind. How you going to receive your sight, sir? Just let God speak to his heart one time, and watch what happens. Maybe there's one over there with a cancer, dying. One back there with heart trouble, just had an examination, the doctor said can't live; going to die.
Let that little buzzer whirl down here one time. "I'm the Lord that heals thee, gives thee thy sight, takes away the cancer, makes thee to walk." It's all over. I don't care what any scientific, what anything... No matter if the doctor put a ... give him a cardiograph and told him his heart had already stopped, he'd still be believing it. Yes, sir. He's going to do it anyhow. There's nothing can stop it. That's what faith is.

55 You know what? Forgive me, brethren, sisters. I don't know why I going to say this, but it's choking me to say it. I know something's fixing to happen to me, so I'm just unloading. That's right. Glory to God!
Brethren, I have seen so much make-belief, super-duper, American so-called faith till it makes me sick at my stomach---evangelists running people through lines, and saying, "O-o-o-h, feel it?" How're you going to do that?
I got a letter from Germany the other day of a German Lutheran minister, the head of the association in Germany in a certain district, where an evangelist was. And he called this evangelist's attention to it, that "The thing that you done was beat the people for money. And it'd be better if you Americans stayed out of here." That's right. That's right. I'm agreeing with him.
Said, "What about little Deborah Stadsklev up there, if you say all this super-duper faith for everything?"

56 I've got the letter right on file. Anything I say from here, brethren, I can back it up.
He said, "All this here faith that you was talking about having... Why did you all do all that shaking and jumping, and everything else there, trying to tell people they were healed; and they did this, and did that, when they wasn't? You never brought any repentance."
Said, "Why didn't you wait like Brother Branham did, when they called him about little Deborah Stadsklev? He waited till he got a clean cut answer from God."
There you are! Wait till you hear, "thus saith the Lord." Clean up your lives; get away from your unbelief; quit having this super-duper "I feel, I touch, I got blood, I got..."
Oh, no wonder the thing's sinking. Got to come back to God's Bible, repentance from unbelief; not super-duper clap hands, and work up to a lot of emotion. Pentecostal birthplace is in that.
These days, shake them and say, "Say it, say it, say it, say it, say it, say it, say it," till they say it's some kind of an unknown tongue; or get a confusion, then say you got the Holy Ghost---and live any kind of a life with enough unbelief in them would smear the devil's hell out. Super-duper faith, huh!

57 What's the matter with me, anyhow? I'm only telling you the truth. Some day you'll catch it. Some day you'll know that I've told you the truth. My voice may be silent. You might be able to silence the body that's speaking, but you'll never silence that voice. It comes from God. They stoned Stephen, but they couldn't stop his message. It'll move on. Them tapes will be played after I'm gone for years. Yes.
Super-duper faith, American built-up under a lot of flusterations, painted-face women wearing shorts, and everything else. Run them through the line and shake them, hollering, "Yeah, you've got it! Hallelujah!" You... Oh, nonsense. Repent! Come back to God. We need a cleaning up! Amen.
Don't think I'm angry. I'm not angry. If I was, I'd get down there at the altar and repent before I finish this message. I'm only telling you something in my heart, boiling out. And it's the word of God.
You need a cleaning from the pulpit to the basement, throughout. Super-duper faith. No such a thing with God. God's faith is pure, clean-cut, unadulterated (that's right), something inside, moving, say, "I accept it." Brother, you know where you're at then.

58 Here not long ago, way down there in Kentucky, Brother Sullivan---old patched blue shirt, steel gray eyes---looked at me in the eye, and said, "Preacher, I believe that." Oh, brother! That was one hundred percent plus. He did. And a cancer hanging on the side of his face dropped off on the floor! He believed it. So many's got hope instead of faith.
Now, the newspapers packed the article of it. A reporter standing there, and the cancer rolled off over his feet. He couldn't keep from writing about it. He picked it up himself.
Say, "Why don't... ? I didn't see it nowhere."
Jesus said, "See that you tell no man."
We got so much publicity today, to fix up something before the public, to make it... Oh, I'd better shut up, go ahead. Notice.

Matthew 8:4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

59 But that's "thus saith the Lord."
Abraham took the little fellow (watch), put the wood upon Isaac's back---type of Christ with the wood on his back. Up the mountain they went, on up. Got up past the timberline, got on up amongst the big rocks, way on up to the big boulders through the bleak sands, on up in the top of the mountain, where nothing ... just old vines and things wrapped around the stumps, or the rocks.
He rolled himself twelve stones together, and laid the wood down, took the fire, and lit the sacri... lit the altar. Little Isaac got suspicious. He said, "My father... ?"
He said, "Here am I, my son."
He said, "Here is the altar, here is the wood, here is the fire. But where is the lamb for the sacrifice?"
He said, "My son, God will provide for Himself a lamb for this sacrifice." There you are.
Only thing I'm doing is just following instructions; it's up to God to provide the lamb. "How am I going to receive my sight? How am I going to... ?" That isn't the question. Just follow the instructions, believing without failure God will provide for Himself a lamb for the sacrifice.

Genesis 22:6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

Genesis 22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

Genesis 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

60 Then he said, "Isaac, put your hands behind you." He took a string, and begin to tie his hands. Isaac knew, then. Watch his obedience, like Jesus, the true Son of God, obedient unto death, took the cross. Tied his hands and his feet. Abraham lifted up the little boy and laid him upon the rock.
I can imagine him standing there and trying ... his intellectuals trying to go to work, "What are you going to tell Sarah when you get home?"
But the little buzzer kept saying, "I'm Jehovah. I will provide. You just follow me."
See, two things working, same time. What're you going to listen to? If you listen to this, you're gone; listen to this, you can't go. You've got to be sure. It's perfect. Now, pulled his hair back out of his face, took his head, laid it back till the throat would be empty, opened up his little shirt and pulled it back so his throat would be... Said, "Lay your head back a little further, Honey, for daddy."
Think that was easy? There had to be something down here moving, a real love that wouldn't fail.
Laid his head back, took the big knife out like that (just razor-honed sharp), pulled his head back; took it out, lifted it up to God, caught the top of his hair, held it back like that, and raised his hand.
About that time the Holy Ghost grabbed his hand, said, "Stay your hand, Abraham. I know you love me." And about that time, a ram bleated behind him. It wasn't there a second before. A ram had his horns hooked in the vines, caught in the vine. "Baa." Abraham looked around, went and got the ram, laid it upon the altar, tied it with the string that Isaac was tied with, and killed the ram.

Genesis 22:10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

Genesis 22:11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

Genesis 22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

Genesis 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

61 I want to ask you something. Where did that ram come from? It was at least a hundred miles from civilization amongst lions, jackals, all kinds... Everything eats a sheep, wild dogs... And again, it was way up on the mountain where there's no food, or water. And it wasn't there when Abraham was hunting stones around to make the altar. But there it was.
O God! Jehovah-jireh! He had provided Himself a lamb for that sacrifice; and He's the same Jehovah-jireh tonight. Only thing is, that to the seed, now, of Abraham, He has already provided the lamb. The lamb has already been killed, a bleeding lamb.
Now, that wasn't a vision Abraham saw, because the ram bled, and a vision don't bleed, see. He killed the ram. God spoke it into existence, and Abraham took it out of existence in less than a minute's time. Come into existence, and went out the next minute, because God had a reason for it; because He'd brought somebody to that place, testing him. The Bible said Abraham was tested. And the seed of Abraham is tested. How God was testing his servant. And He's able to provide, or make anything any way He wants to, because He's Jehovah-jireh.

62 Now, if you're sick, afflicted, well, no matter what's wrong with you, if God has revealed it to you that you're going to be ... that you are healed already by his provided lamb, and the doctor says you can't get well, He's Jehovah-jireh. The Lord is able to provide you some eyes. I've seen Him do it. The Lord can provide you ears. The Lord can provide you health. The Lord can provide you strength. He's Jehovah-jireh, the Lord's provided sacrifice. And in Jesus Christ, God's Son, all this is met for you, the seed of Abraham, if you'll only believe like Abraham did. Do you do it? Let us bow our heads then.
Are you sick? You need Him? Jehovah-jireh is present---the same one who promised all the things, giving all the signs, fulfilling all his Word is here in this armory in Middletown, Ohio, tonight. If you have need of Him, just raise up your hand. Now keep Him on your mind while I pray.

63 Heavenly Father, I come in the name of your provided sacrifice that I accepted as my Saviour; and He changed this wicked, cruel, Irish heart of mine laying there on the bed, with just three minutes to live by the specialist---my heart only beating seventeen times to the minute. But Jehovah-jireh came on the scene. And that's been about thirty-five years ago, when I had three minutes to live. But Jehovah-jireh provided me life. Why shouldn't I spend it, then, for Him?
There may be others here, tonight, Lord, no doubt. Maybe not that bad. But I promised You there on that hospital bed that I'd never be ashamed of You, that I'd stand for your Word. I'd scream it from the housetop, street corner. And for thirty-one years I've screamed it, Lord. Now thy servant is getting old. I pray Thee, Lord, that You'll bless this people tonight, and will let them see this gospel truth.
As the song writer said,
It's grace that taught my heart to fear,
It was grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
It was Jehovah-jireh that's brought me
safe thus far,
And He will take me on.
Give me faith, tonight, as I pray for the sick. Help me, Lord, and give the people faith to believe. Now, there's nothing, Lord... I've told them over, and over, there's nothing in me, or any other man, that can do what You've already done. Their healing is completed. You redeemed them from their sickness when You died for them. You was wounded for their transgressions. With your stripes they were healed.
May they have faith, tonight, Lord; not trust upon some merit of some emotion they had, or some sensation, or something. But may they come with simple clear-cut faith, and clear-cut decision. "Tonight I accept Christ as my healer. From my heart I believe He heals me." Grant it, Lord, and it'll all be over. Grant it, Father. I ask in Jesus' name. Amen.

64 What time are we supposed to be out? Any marked time?
If you all will just be real reverent for just a few minutes... I don't believe we've had any prayer line called up yet, have we? We haven't called a prayer line since we've been here. Just had from the platform, wasn't that the way it was? What was that, prayer cards A 1 to 100?
Would you rather just be called from the altar here, people without prayer cards be called like that? or people with them? Doesn't matter to me---whatever way will bring you the most faith. If you'll just have faith and believe, don't doubt, and will just keep real reverent, sit quiet...
Now this is the time... No matter how much I've preached, if it isn't the truth, it isn't the truth. God will never witness to a lie. You know that. But if it is the truth, God's obligated to witness to that.

65 Now, my brethren, sisters, will you just kind of ... just keep as reverent as you can?
Let's call a few of those cards. If we don't get them tonight, all, we'll get them tomorrow. Let's take just about a dozen, or something like that, on the platform. Then let the Holy Spirit, if it will, start in the audience. How many out there doesn't have a prayer card, and you're sick? Raise up your hands. All around. Oh.
How many has prayer cards then? Raise up your hands. There's more without prayer cards, and there's just a few with prayer cards. Probably some of them's last night got the prayer cards left. What did you give---from 1 to 50, or from 1 to 100 last night? Let's start from say, 75. How will that be? See if it's here.
Prayer card number 75. Who has that? Raise up your hand. No? Well, we'll start from somewhere else. Oh, I'm sorry. All right, number 75. How about you coming right here, lady? Number 76, who has that? 76? That lady? Come right here. 77? Prayer card 77. Back there. 78? Come here, lady. 79? 79? Did I see it? Did it raise up? 79. 80? Who has prayer card 80? Would you raise your hands, so we can see it. 80?

66 Now, when the boy comes to give the prayer cards he stands up before you, shuffles them up together. Isn't that right? Then takes ... and gives you the prayer card, anybody that wants one, see. Doesn't matter. So, we don't know where we're going to call them from, and nobody knows, so the boy can't tell you, "Well, we're going to start tonight from number one. I'll give you number one, and you number two." He can't do that, see. And it proves it, because he shuffles them up here before you, see. All right.
Where was I at? 80? 80. Prayer card 80? 81? did I get that one? 81. 82, 83? Is that ... no, she stopped for a baby. 83, would you raise your hand? Back in the back. 84? All right. 85? I didn't see it. 85? 86? 86? The man... 87? I didn't see it, 87. Look at your neighbor's card; maybe a deaf. Oh, all right. 87? 88, 88? What's this blind man? What's his number? That wouldn't be his number, would it? Oh, it's ... fine. Oh, that's all right. I'll get it. Just stay with it. 89? 90, 91, 92, 92. I don't see it. 92. it's probably some that give last night. Well, you got enough there.

67 Everybody in this prayer line that's standing here, watch just a moment. Now I want you to be real reverent now. This is Saturday night. You can sleep till Sunday school time in the morning, now. You don't have to go to work. So now, be real reverent just a few minutes. Take this message. Don't forget the message now. Take the message.
Every one in this prayer line that's a stranger to me that I don't know nothing about you, raise up your hand. All in the prayer line. Each one of you in that prayer line, will you solemnly promise God that if God shall reveal these things, that you'll promise you will believe Him and hold onto it with all your heart? You do?
And if I would just come up and pray for each one of you, and pass you through here... If you've did anything wrong, you make it right now, before you come in the line? See, do that. Now,

68 for remember, the sin be upon you; not upon me.
Now how many in the audience tonight that believe that God is the healer, and can heal you and will heal you; and you have faith for it tonight? Raise up your hands that you're sick. Now, do you promise, you out there... ? How many in here that knows that I do not know you that's sick, and know nothing about you? Raise up your hand.
Now, if the Lord Jesus will do exactly what He said He did when He come here on earth, exactly what He promised would take place in the last days, if He will perform that just one time in this prayer line, or one time out there, you'll solemnly believe it?
As I raise my hands to God that I don't know any of them people there... And there's a few here that I know. I try to make out who this man is sitting here. And I believe this man sitting here, with the light suit on, I've seen him somewhere. Brother and Sister Kidd, I know them.
And I know that I've got some friends here from Jeffersonville. They're back here somewhere. One of the deacons of our church, Brother Fred Sothmann, he's here. Another one of the deacons ... or, he's a trustee. One of the deacons, a Methodist preacher, Brother Collins, he was here the other day. He and his wife are here. Brother Welch Evans and his family, from down in Georgia, them people drives around ... well, with a round trip, I'd say it's about fourteen or fifteen hundred miles every Sunday to hear me preach at Jeffersonville. Talk about friends! Die for you.
Brother Tom Simpson, he's here, and I think some of his family is with him. He's also a visiting brother of mine. Brother Leo and Gene, they're here. They're my fellow workers here in the meeting. Then I've got a friend here, Brother Rodney. And Brother Roger. And Brother Charlie---they're from up here in Ohio, somewhere up here, close to the Indiana line, personal friends of mine. United brethren and Methodist brethren who's just recently come in and been saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. They're supposed to be here. They were here yesterday. I had some of them on private interview, and they're here. And outside of that, there's nobody that I can think of.
Brother Dauch sitting here, I know him. It's a German name. I can't say it. It's Dox, or Dow, or something like that. Very fine brother from right here in Ohio, has been a great blessing to me. And this man sitting right back here, red tie on, sitting right here---you, direct down. Don't I know you? No, the man right behind you there. Don't I know you? I thought I did. I can't call his name, but I know him.

69 And the other morning the Holy Spirit was leading me down the street. I went into the room to get breakfast. Something said, "Don't go. Walk down the street." I started walking down the street, and I wondered "Why? Why?" Kept walking down the street, and I seen two ladies standing on the corner. I kept walking.
I thought, "Father, what would you have me do?"
"Just keep walking."
And when I walked down there, these ladies turned around, said, "Sir, could you tell me where a grocery store is?"
I said, "No, I'm a stranger here."
And they looked around, said, "Aren't you Brother Branham?"
I thought, "Here it is."
One little woman had been praying real hard to see me privately. She went out on the corner to wait. God sent her out there, and God sent me from my room down. (She's sitting right here now.) She told me about something she wanted to speak to me about in private, see.
The only thing you have to do is follow the leading of the Spirit. He works on both ends of the line, makes it meet just exactly right.

70 And if I should say to the people from Jeffersonville... Well, I wouldn't call them if I seen ... unless it would be something that they would ... I'd have to tell them, or something. But usually it's the other people. You all pray now, and believe with all your heart.
Now, what did one woman... ? Jesus told her something that was wrong with her, and she went in and told ... and a whole city believed on the ... a whole generation, a whole tribe of people, believed that He was the Messiah.
Now, I am not the Messiah. You know that! Oh, my! I'm a sinner saved by grace. I'm a man. But the Messiah works in human beings. Now, like I was trying to tell you, there isn't three gods. Anybody'd believe that is a pagan. There's only one God. He lives in three offices: the Fatherhood... Oh, people's went crazy trying to study that. Why, it's so simple: God the Father (the Father dispensation), Sonship, Holy Ghost---the same God.
Not three gods: one named Father, and one named Son, and one named Holy Ghost. You believe that, brother, you better go on to the Catholic church. That's where you belong, just exactly. That's where it come from. There's no such teaching in the Bible. No such a thing as that. Trinity is not even mentioned in the Bible, not one time.

71 Now I'm not a ... don't ... when I say that some people say, "He's a Jesus Only." You're mistaken there. I wouldn't have that kind of a spirit on me. There, that dogmatic, ungodly thing that... No, sir! I'm not Oneness, not at all. I'm not Trinity either. I'm a Christian. I believe in God.
I believe in God manifested in three offices. Now his office is in my heart, in your heart; not another god somewhere else, another god somewhere else, another god somewhere else. That's just as pagan as pagan can be. Never one time was that even thought of, until the Nicene Council. Find it in the Bible, or find it in history till that time. It's not there.
Gene, are you the one that's going to bring them to me? All right, brother. Now if anybody in here has a suspicion that this is not of God, you have a better system to help these people, with all godly fear and brotherly respects I'll take a seat down here with Brother Sullivan. Come to the platform. If you can do anything different by it ... if you want to come do this same thing... If you think that I'm of the devil and you're of God, then surely you can outdo this. You can outdo the devil if you're of God. Then come, take the place. Not that I am He, but He is here. Now, no matter how much He'd anoint me, He's got to anoint you the same way.

72 Now here stands a woman that I've never seen in my life. She is a total stranger to me. I've never seen her. She's just a woman, standing there. And I suppose this is the first time we've ever met as far as I know. Is that right? That is right. Now, if this is our first time meeting ... And I'd raise my hands to that. If I ever met you, it was somewhere I didn't know who you was. We passed on a street, or you sat in the meeting, or something like that. I wouldn't know you no other way. But, just to know you, I don't, and you don't know me. But there's somebody here who does know both of us. That's right. Somebody knows both of us. Now we're going to forget ourselves, and let Him speak through me and...
Now, if I come up here and said, "Lady, you're sick. Hallelujah! Praise God! Go get healed. You're healed. Go on..." Now that would be all right, if you want to believe it. You're only healed by faith. That's right.
So now, you could have a right to doubt that. But upon the Scripture, what I've told you, that we're in the end time, and that same God that dwelt in human flesh, eating and drinking there; that several hundred years after that was made manifest in flesh, the same God... Because He come for redemption, to hunt his lost child.
When God came down in the garden of Eden, why didn't He send a angel to hunt Adam? Why didn't He send some kind of a son to hunt Adam? That was his lost child. He come Himself. That's why Jesus was God made flesh. He came in human flesh to redeem me. I was going to speak on that tonight, if I hadn't finished that up last night---the "Kinsman Redeemer," to show that He had to be man.
So, through that blood without sex, that unadulterated, created blood of God, I stand here tonight with this challenge upon my Bible, standing before a woman to say that God keeps his Word. That's where we stand.
If God will reveal to me something that you know that I... If there's anything about you, I don't know it. But if He will reveal to me, then you'll know. And, like the woman at the well of Samaria, go tell your people that "Come see a man [not Brother Branham, now, but the Lord Jesus] that's in his church manifesting Himself, 'cause He told me the things that's in my life." Would you be willing to do that? Would the church be willing to do that?

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

73 It really isn't you that you're standing here for. It's for somebody else. If that's right, raise up your hand. See, He knows what's in your heart. If God then will describe to me, or tell me something about this something, or somebody, will you believe me? The person, not here, they're in a dying condition with cancer, and you're standing for them. Is that right? You know that handkerchief you got in your hand there? Take that to them, and don't doubt. You won't doubt it? Then you can have what you asked for. God bless you.
Now does the church believe? If thou canst believe. It shakes some. It doesn't others, nothing.

74 How do you do? If Jesus Christ the Son of God will reveal to me what you're here for, or who you're for, or something another, you'll know whether it's the truth or not, won't you? You'll believe me to be his servant, and I've told you the truth upon the Word of God?
Are you ready for a shock? You're seriously ill, shadowed to death, blackness over you, a cancer. It's a lung cancer, that's gone through your system. That is true. Come here. If the Spirit of God that made the Bible... The last commission our Saviour give to the church, "These signs shall follow them that believe." Now you know something has me anointed. Is that right? Well, then, if I lay hands on you and condemn that devil, will you believe that it comes from God, the very God that knows about you? Then you can live.
Almighty God, creator of heavens and earth, author of everlasting life, and giver of every good gift, with hands laid upon the woman as the last commission given to our Lord ... or, by our Lord that his church should do, I condemn this death hanging over the woman, and let her live in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Now write me your testimony. Believe with all your heart.
How do you do? Do you believe God heals rectal trouble too? All right. It's over then. What did you touch then? Touched Him. I don't know you. God does know you. Do you believe me to be his servant? I'm just trying to... See, the angel of the Lord... Did you ever read my book? When He met me that night, said, "If you get the people to believe you..." Believe me what? That I've told the truth. Now I've told the Bible story, so that's got to be true.
If the Lord will reveal to me something about you, will you believe that it's... ? You'll have to know whether that's true or not. You are suffering with a gall bladder trouble. That's right.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

75 There it comes (I just ... look like I expect it.)---" He guessed that." I didn't guess that. Quit thinking that. I'll make you ashamed of yourself now.
I don't know what He told you. Just a moment. Yes, here it is. It's underneath the ribs here. It's gall bladder. That's right. Causes sickness, and cramps, and everything. That's right. You also got varicose veins. You're suffering with a nervous condition. You have complications, so the doctor said. Your name is Mrs. Osborn. Go home and be well. Jesus Christ makes you well. (Shame on you.) Have faith in God. Don't doubt.
"If thou canst believe, all things are possible."
The lady sitting there with her hair swept up like this way, looking right at me... There's something when it struck this woman struck that woman too, and I looked around. I seen the light over her. I don't know. There's something there with that woman that just left the platform is the matter with that woman too. You're suffering, aren't you, sister? Sick?
Yes, I see it now. Do you believe me to be his prophet? You have gall bladder trouble. If that's right, raise up your hand. All right, you're healed. Jesus Christ makes you well. Do you believe?

76 If you want to believe me to be his servant, that struck your friend sitting there by you so close. It also healed her of a breast trouble she had. Do you believe it, lady? Do you accept it? Raise up your hand if you do. All right. Go home believing, you can be made well. I just ask you to believe. That's all.
He's in the audience. You see this little lady sitting here praying with all of her heart? She's not praying for herself. She's praying for a sister that's got cancer. Yes. Kind of a strange feeling, wasn't it? All right. Now go believe. It's all over. Strange---another woman appeared by me, is right behind her there, is praying for the same thing. You believe also, sister. You can have yours.
Oh, tell me what they touched. How ... they're twenty feet away from me, or thirty. How could they touch me? They never touched me. But they did touch the high priest, Jesus Christ, that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmity.
I don't know you. We're strangers one to another. If the Lord Jesus will reveal to me something... You realize you're in his presence. One thing wrong, you could drop dead by it. You know that. 77 I don't know you. Oh, what, what if it... ? Oh, well. You think your mother will come out of that stroke and be all right? All right, go believe it. She can be made well. God bless you.
Can God heal cancer and make you well? All right. Go believe it with all your heart, and be made well, if thou canst believe.
Come. There's about eighty percent of this audience suffering with the same thing, lady. Let me show you. All of you out there is plagued with nervousness, raise up your hands, everybody. See? That's your trouble. Comes on about this time of life anyhow, but you've been nervous for a long time. Do you believe you're over it now? Go thanking the Lord. Say, "Thank you, Lord Jesus."
Can God heal your back, and make you well? All right. Just go believe it, then, with all your heart.

78 I see your trouble, but that's not what it is. You're so nervous you don't know how to hold yourself together. Go, believe. It'll be all right. This same lady here had a nervous trouble. She's got other troubles, complications, but she's actually wanting me to pray for nerves. Isn't that right? Believe it, and go be made well. Just believe with all your heart.
I don't know you, do I? Do you believe God will heal that female trouble you got, make you well? Then go believe. Have faith.
Do you believe out there, every one of you, having faith? That lady sitting right there has got female trouble, too, she's praying for. That's right. Lady's got kind of ... got something laying over your lap. That's right, you. You looked around to the next woman. Believe... No, right here. You that's got your hand laying back that way. Believe with all your heart. Go home, yes, and be made well. Jesus Christ heals you.
What do you think, out there, praying for your wife that's backslid? Do you think she'll come back home and be... Stand up on your feet. All right. I give her back to you in the name of Jesus Christ.

79 Go believe, sister. Be made well. Jesus Christ heal you, and make you well. Now that's about the way she has to get out of a bed of a morning, too. It's arthritis. But God can heal arthritis, can't He? All right. Just go believe Him. Go say, "Thank you, Lord," and believe it.
What if I didn't even say one thing to you, just laid my hands on you? You believe you'd get well? Come on by. God bless you. Go receive it, sister, in the name of Jesus.

80 Now here it comes again, another nerve condition. That's right. How many in the audience out there? With all your heart, with all that's in you, and you believe with all the strength that you have that God's a healer of nervousness, raise up your hands like that. If He can heal this woman here...
Now, through that... Come here a minute. You got other troubles, too. See, I could tell that? Sure. Look here. When you put your hand on mine... Look here. See my hand? See how normal it looks, like any man? Now put this hand on here. Now look at it. See how it swells up? Them little white things run over it? Now watch. Take this other hand over here, and put it on it. It doesn't do it on that one, does it? Doesn't do it on that one. Well, why would it just do it on this one?
That was the first gift that was give me. See, it's your contact, your right hand to my left. You're pledging your faith that you believe what I tell you. I take your left hand, and raise mine to God. My left is to my heart, see. Now you see something happen, shows physically what's wrong there. Isn't that right?
Now, you face the people. Watch when she's looking here. Look at my hand yourself. Now take your hand off. Now take this other hand, put on it. Doesn't do it there. You're just as much human in this hand, as you are in this hand. Now then, you see there's something physically shows. That's anointing. That's by a promise.

81 Now you come here. Now you watch my hand. Do you believe now with all your heart? I'll lay my hand right here so you'll see it. You see, it's not the position I'm holding my hand. It will work there just the same.
Now if that goes away, if it comes back like this other hand, well then, it'll be ... you'll know something's happened, won't you? Now I don't know whether you can see it, or not. As she puts her hands on mine, it swells up, and little white things going brrr, brrr, brrr... She doesn't realize ... she knows she's got a female trouble, but she don't know what it is, see. It's a tumor. Now there it is, moving. She's had trouble with it.
Now look, I'll take my hand off of her. Look at my hand now. Now let her take this other hand here, and put that hand on. Not one speck of difference, see. This one doesn't show it. This one does. Is that right, lady? You're here to look at it. See, little white things running over my hand, going brrr, brrr, brrr. What is that? That's the life inside of her that doesn't belong there.
Now the doctor calls it tumor, cancer, so forth like that. But Jesus called it a devil. Why? It's a life. What is she? She's a life, a multiplication of cells. What's a tumor? A multiplication of cells. What's a cancer? Multiplication of cells. What's a cataract? Multiplication of cells. See, that's a life in there. It's the anointing here now of eternal life. And there's a life here that's eternal life, and there's a life there that's death, see. So that's the difference.

82 The woman's a believer. She's nervous---been that way a long time, especially since menopause. Got astigmatism in her eyes. She has dizzy spells. That's easy, see. But the thing of it is, is watch now, and see.
Now I cannot make it go, or I cannot make it stay away. Now, I just want to hold my hand so you can see what I spoke of awhile ago is truth. Can you hear me? I'm going to hold my hand here, and just let the woman pray, and see if it leaves. Just pray, say, "Lord, help me." Now she prayed, see.
Now let her look herself. I ain't looked at my hand. Still there. Now, I'll pray. Father God, hear my prayer. I pray for this woman that You'll help her according to her faith. Amen. Didn't move, did it? Still there. I'm not going to move. Just watch my hand. Now just show you what He said. We'll make sure, you see, now. Now, what did He tell me? He promised me this. I can't make it stay away from her, but if she sees it leave... Now I want you to watch my hand. You watch my hand.
Almighty God, not to make a show here, but this will probably be my last time in this city. I pray Thee, Lord, to make Yourself known, that I've told the truth to this people. They're watching my hand. The woman is, too. But your words are so true. Sometime when a little worry, flusteration, hinders... But your promise still remains true. "In my name they shall cast out devils."
Now You promised that. You confirmed it to me by an angel, that night at Greens' Mills, standing in that cabin.
Satan, you can't hold her any longer. Come out of her in the name of Jesus Christ.
Now let the lady be the judge. It's gone. Is it gone, lady? I've never moved my hand. Now look. It's gone. Put your other hand on it. Not there, is it? You're healed. See what I mean?
Do you believe? Now how many believers is here? Raise up your hand.

83 Has not the Bible declared it? Has not God worked with the seed of Abraham the same as He did with Abraham? Isn't the same angel that met Abraham, just at the age of Sodom before it was destroyed, isn't that the same works here He's doing tonight? Is it the same? Is it? Do you believe it? Are you Abraham's seed?
God said, "These signs shall follow them that believe. If they lay their hands on the sick they shall recover." How many out there's sick? Raise your hands. How many sitting by them that's believers? Put your hands over on one another. That's all. Just lay your hands on. That's all you have to do.
Let's just say... You say, "Well, Brother Branham, I want to be baptized." I just baptize you, that's all. Then you're baptized. Is that right? Then you're a Christian. Well, then, if you say, "Well, Brother Branham, repent and be baptized," that's what the Bible said. "Go ye into all the world, preach the gospel ... every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." Is that right?
Well, then, if you believe, then are baptized, the Bible said you're saved. Is that right? What's the order of baptism? Just put them under the water, bring them back up, baptized. "What is the order then for sick? "These signs shall follow them that believe. If they lay their hands on the sick they shall recover."
"If Brother Branham lays his hands?"
He never said, "Brother Branham." He said, "Whosoever." So these signs shall follow them that believe. You're a believer, same as I am. You have the same right to lay your hand on anybody as I do. Each one of your ministers, these pastors, anybody else, they have the right to do it. Do you believe that? Then I want you to lay hands on one another, bow your heads... Don't pray for yourself, now. You pray for the next person that you got your hands on, because they're praying for you. You believe that with all your heart. I commit you to Jesus Christ as I pray for these cloths here and handkerchiefs.

Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

84 Heavenly Father, these handkerchiefs that's been brought to me, the people are believing just like they did in the days of Paul. They seen Paul have those visions, and they knowed that he was sent of God. These people believe the same thing.
Now, Lord, You're the same God to us because Abraham was the father of many nations. And they brought from Paul's body handkerchiefs, aprons, and they was taken to the sick, and afflicted, and devils went out of the people, unclean spirits. Diseases was healed.
Now I rebuke every devil that binds the people that these handkerchiefs represent, and ask that they be healed. And in this audience, Lord, I believe with all my heart, as your servant, that there are people sitting in this audience tonight that's genuine, Spirit-filled, borned-again men and women of God.

Acts 19:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
