God has a Provided Way

1 Good evening, friends. It's a great privilege to be here tonight in this auditorium, to minister to God's children, to the sick and the afflicted, and to minister to the unsaved, in the way of salvation. And we're sorry that this has to be our last night in this special campaign, a series of these services, but we certainly want to thank each and every one of you for your wonderful cooperation, for all that you have done for us, giving us your faith, and all that you have done. We appreciate it from the depths of our heart. Only eternity will tell how that we appreciate.
And we want to be grateful to our Brother Cauble, for his sponsoring us here in the city; and for the fine cooperation we've had with him and his church, and his people. And we thank all of you who's come from different places, from Indiana and around, the states about. It wasn't even advertised out there. I guess you just got it through the mail, somehow, for it to be here. 'Cause, we know we wouldn't have room much in that church. And we thought, if it got too bad, then maybe we could find a night or two at the auditorium.
Now, we're grateful for the people who let us have this auditorium tonight. We appreciate that, for them opening up this place for these services on this Sunday night, for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank Him.

2 And now, just as I was coming in just now, my brother and Billy, and some of them was standing out there, told me that there had been adequate, enough sufficient of the funds to pay off all the debts. They paid off the rent on the church, and the newspaper, and the custodians of the church, and the music, and all the newspaper advertisements, the radio broadcast. Everything has been paid, up till tonight. I think they had enough, so that left the night love-offering free for me.
That, I have always tried to keep, as you know, a reputation about money. We don't do that. And if there's not enough to take care of the things, then I'll take it out of my love-offering. And the love-offering: I wouldn't even take that, if I wasn't a poor man and had to live like the rest of us does. If I could work and still run these meetings across the nation, I'd never mention a love-offering for myself. Just expenses to be paid is all we require. And that's not only been in Louisville, that's been around the world. And as long as I live, and God will help me, it'll remain that way. Not money; I'm not after money. I'm trying to get the people to believe the Lord Jesus Christ, for their salvation and for their healing.

3 And your tithings, and so forth, that you've put in this last week, has gone for that purpose. And on Sunday night, they usually, or the last night of the meeting, whatever, it's a week or two weeks, ten days or whatever, they take a love-offering for me. And if there would be something in there that would be left over, it'd go right straight to foreign missions. Perhaps my secretary and them who takes care of the money, and so forth, are sitting present now, and my wife and them, who knows that that's the truth. And Almighty God, who is our Judge, knows that to be true. And so we're thanking you for everything that you have done.

4 Now, this being the closing night of the service... Now, we start tomorrow for Shreveport, Louisiana, to begin there in the Municipal Auditorium for the services; the next service is to begin there.
And then we go from there to Denver, Colorado, where the Christian Businessmen of Denver sponsors us there, in a campaign. And I believe it's the Civic or the City Auditorium there. No churches sponsoring it; just the Christian Businessmen.
And then from there, we go to Edmonton, Alberta. And then from there, to Grand Prairie, British Columbia; Dawson Creek; on up into the Eskimo land.

5 And we get back down then again, around ... to begin down here in the States again, around June, which will be over in Des Moines, Iowa. And we go to the Methodist campgrounds at Cedar Lake, in the convention there; and then on over to the Pacific Northwest.
And then from there, to Durban, South Africa. This time, it isn't my choice, my setting. It's "Thus saith the Lord." And to go to Africa; India; Palestine; Luxembourg; Frankfurt, Germany; and London; and then to Paris; then back home.
Then from there, we ought to get in around January or February, we go to New Zealand, Australia, and to the East.
And I'll be expecting prayers to be coming from Louisville, Kentucky, in support of this meeting that we're going---itinerary.

6 One of these times, if I'd happen to get back even a year from today, there's many sitting here tonight, perhaps, won't be here, if I'm spared. In a audience of this size, oh, a thousand people or more, whatever, there'll be ... many of you will be gone. Then I'll meet you again, some of these glorious mornings, at the resurrection, when the saints (the redeemed) are brought back to earth again, for the great Millennium. I hope to spend an endless eternity with you in the kingdom of God, to which I represent here tonight.
God bless you all. And I don't want to leave out any one. The little ladies that plays the music and, oh, every one, God bless you.

7 Now, it's my lot, tonight, to speak just a few moments again. And I don't know what time we have to close the auditorium. But getting started just the time, at eight-thirty, maybe speak a half hour; then start our prayer line, praying for the sick.
And now, you dear Christian people here, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Jeffersonville, New Albany. One of these days, I would like to advertise the meeting nationally, and have an old, big old tent set out here, that will seat several thousand people, and have an old-fashioned revival. That's what I think we need in Louisville, is an old-fashioned, God-sent revival. You pray. If the Lord leads that way, I'll come.

8 Now there's two or three healing campaigns going on in the city. That's the reason we never made it no national affair. We just come to Brother Cauble's church, see. And we didn't come here to be competitors to these other brethren. We don't believe in being competitors to the religion of Jesus Christ. We are brethren, together, working together for all that we can, for the good of the kingdom of God, and every church, every one.
We might differ a little bit on ideas, the ministers, but not to the people. We still believe the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We become sons and daughters of God by confessing our sins and accepting this blood, no matter what church you belong to. And we believe that with all of our heart. My services is always inter-evangelical ... or, interdenominational. So, we trust that God will bless you all.

9 Now, in standing, mainly, in a city or a place, we are not here to represent divine healing. We're not even featuring divine healing. We're featuring Jesus Christ, the Son of God. And when you feature Jesus Christ, you feature divine healing, because, it's the attributes of His death, what gives us salvation, and healing for our bodies.
And there's no power within any man, that can heal another person. Healing has already been purchased at Calvary. And only thing that we can do is point man to where that one-time, all-sufficient sacrifice was made by Jesus Christ, the Son of God. In there, we just look and live. God made the way, and we accept it.
A minister couldn't save no one; he could only preach the Gospel, if he's anointed of the Holy Spirit, and point people to the place where they were saved. They were saved, nineteen hundred years ago, at Calvary. You have to accept it as your personal Saviour now, to have benefits, or dividends, off of His death, and enjoy the attributes of what He died for.

10 Now, and divine healing is the same thing: "He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our peace upon Him, with His stripes we were healed," all in the same day, by the same Man. Inseparable: They run parallel, one to the other; the blood coming from His back and the one's coming from His wound, mixed together and run off of His feet, see. That's it. Salvation, healing, peace, satisfaction, joy, everything that we have need of in the earthly journey, was met in Calvary. And God will minister to everyone who will accept it upon those basis and believe it with all their heart.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

11 Now, "God set in the church, some teachers, apostles, prophets, gifts of healing," and, oh, different kinds of gifts. He put that in the church "for the perfecting of the church," getting the church together.
And now, days has passed since the first round of the apostles. They had all the nine gifts working in the church. The second round, they begin to cool off. The third round, was about all gone. Then went out into the fifteen hundred years of dark ages. Then come the reformation.
After the reformation, come sanctification. After justification come John Wesley, preaching sanctification. In there come Calvin, Knox, and all of those who came down into the Pentecostal, Nazarene, that age.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

12 And now we're moving right on into another great age, coming for the rapture of the church. And in this, we're living in the time of the restoration of the gifts. It stumbled many of the big fine churches; it sent Nazarene backwards; it made fanatics out of a lot of Pentecost. But, just the same, God is moving right on, bringing in the rapturing faith for His church. That's right. So, tonight, I represent that faith, "The faith that was once delivered to the saints," in the way of a divine gift.
Which, to my opinion, "Gifts and callings..." Not my opinion; but the Bible says, that, "Gifts and callings are without repentance." There is nothing you can do about it. You can't make yourself with blue eyes when you got brown. You're just what you are, by the grace of God.
You can't even come to God without God calling you first. You can't seek God without God seeking you first and calling you. "No man can come to me, except my Father draws him." So, God is seeking. "God has set in the church..."

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

13 And then, from a little child, born here in this state of Kentucky, visions just comes to me just the same as eating or anything else. It's just as God will, He provides it. I just do as He tells me to do.
Certainly, I have many critics. I have many people who disbelieve it. No matter what would take place, they'd disbelieve it, anyhow. I expect to have that. And if I didn't have that, I'd go down to an altar somewhere and say, "Dear Lord, what's wrong with me?"
"For all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." We must have it. That's right.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

14 So, Jesus had it. And He said, if... When He could stand in His audience, and know what (the people) was wrong, and whether they was healed or not. And they touched Him with their faith. When He turned and said, "Who touched Me?" He said, "Your faith has saved you. Now, your blood issue has stopped. Your faith has made you whole."
A woman come to Him one time ... or, He was standing where she was at: at the pool ... or, the drinking place, the well, Jacob's well. And a woman come, and He carried a conversation with her for a few moments till He found her trouble. Said, "Go get your husband."
She said, "I have none."
Said, "That's right. You have five."

Matthew 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Mark 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Luke 8:45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

Luke 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

John 4:16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

John 4:17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

John 4:18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

15 When He was here, He knew where a fish was, had a coin in his mouth. He knew where two mules was standing, hitched, or where two ways came together. And He knew where a man would be packing a pitcher. Many things that He knew. He knew Philip when he come to Him, and he'd been praying before he come, under a tree; knew that he was a good, righteous man.
But He said, in His own words, "I can do nothing of myself, until the Father shows me what to do." All that believes that Scripture, say "Amen." That's Saint John 5:19.

Matthew 17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Matthew 21:2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

Mark 14:13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

Luke 22:10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

John 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

John 1:48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

16 He passed by a big multitude, two or three thousand people in there; crippled, twisted, lame, halt, blind, withered; full of love and compassion, walked right by every one of them. Healed a man with some little disease, like... Oh, I don't know; he might've been subject to bad colds, for all I know. He had it thirty-eight years. It wasn't going to hurt him or kill him; it was retarded. And He made that man whole, and walked away and left that multitude laying there. And then when He was questioned, He said, "I can do nothing of myself, but what I see the Father doing."

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

17 Now, sometimes people want Him to clown with that, when they seen He had that power. They asked Him ... Herod said, "Do me a miracle. Let me see You do something." And he asked Him to speak for Himself. He stood, like, dumb before its shearers, like a sheep dumb before the shearers.
They wrapped a rag around His head, one day, a bunch of critical soldiers, and hit Him on the head, and said, "Now if You're a prophet, if You know all these things, and so forth, tell us who hit You. Do a miracle for us."

Matthew 26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

Matthew 26:68 Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

Luke 22:64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

Luke 23:8 And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

Luke 23:9 Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

Acts 8:32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

18 When Satan first met Him, Satan said, "Now, if You will do a miracle for me, I'll believe that You're the Son of God. Turn these stones to bread. Let me see You do it." Jesus just quoted the Scripture right back to him.
And then, every time, Satan wanted to see Him do a miracle. The people who's possessed of Satan, wants to see Him: "Do something for me. Let me see You heal this one. Let me put a scratch on Your hand; and You heal it and I'll believe You." There you are. The same evil spirit that said, "Come off the cross now and we'll believe You. Your hands are tacked up there. You're calling Elijah; let's see Him come, deliver You now. If You found so much favor in Him, in God, let's see Him deliver You. Come off the cross and we'll believe you. Do a miracle before us."
Miracles has always stumped the unbeliever. But just the same, our Heavenly Father is a miracle-working God. That's right. Everywhere He's always been, whatever His ministry has been, where He's had His ministers, there's been signs, wonders, and miracles.

Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Matthew 27:40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

Matthew 27:42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

Matthew 27:47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.

Mark 15:30 Save thyself, and come down from the cross.

Luke 4:3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

19 Now, the Lord bless you, while I read a text of Scripture here for a few moments, and then... We will go into the service, and then right to the healing service.

20 Now look. Jesus, when He was here on earth, He said, "Now, the things that I do, shall you do also. More than this will you do, or greater, for I go to my Father. Now yet a little while," I'm quoting Jesus, "yet a little while and the world sees me no more, yet You shall see me, for I'll be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever."
How many Christians in here, tonight, believe with all your heart, that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and lives tonight? Let's see your hand. Well, if He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, won't He produce tonight in His church the same thing He did in His church when He was here on earth, in flesh? See, it's just... The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus Christ. He's here in a spiritual form, just as much alive as He ever was; here, living in us, performing the things that He did when He was here on earth, as a confirmation of His being with us. "I will be with you, even in you, to the end of the world." The Lord bless you.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

21 Shall we pray.
Heavenly Father, tonight get glory, Heavenly Father, out of our efforts that we're trying to put forth for Your glory. Now, here lays the Word, here on the pulpit, opened up. But who can understand it? when it's written by inspiration, promised, that it was hid from the eyes of the wise and prudent, and would be revealed to babes such as would learn? Now, Father, we pray that You'll let us consider ourselves babes, not knowing anything, that we might learn some things through the revelation by the Holy Spirit. May He take the Word of God now and give it to every heart as we have need. For we ask it in His name. Amen.

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

22 In Genesis...
Just a little warm up here; I guess it is out there, also. If the custodians will give just a little air in the building, so the people will feel just a little better. I see some of them fanning.

23 Now, in Genesis the twenty-second chapter, I want to draw your attention to a few words here; just on the close of this meeting, of the Gospel. I always like to say ... or, read some of the Word here, because this Word will never pass away. And it's eternal, forever.
And if I would say anything about a text, for tonight, I wish to speak on this: God Has A Provided Way. He has a provided way of approach to Him. He has a provided way of escape. And He has a provided way for everything we have need of. If we can only find that way God has provided, then we're sure to get it. If God...
If this building was provided here to take care of ... keep the rain off of us; as long as we get into the building, then we're out of the rain.
If God has provided a way for salvation, we can find that provided way, we can have salvation. If God's provided a way of divine healing, then we can get in that way, we find divine healing. If He's provided peace for the unstable, then if we get in that way and find His provided way, we can have peace.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

24 Now reading from the seventh verse of the twenty-second chapter. Notice this now: great, dramatic story here before us.
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, ... father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for the burnt-offering?
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide for himself a lamb for a burnt offering:...
May the Lord add His blessings to the reading of that Word. I might read, in response to that, the 14th verse, also.
And Abraham called the name of the place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said in this day, In the mount of the LORD shall it be seen.

Genesis 22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

Genesis 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

25 Jehovah-jireh was God's name of redemption. God... The word Jehovah-jireh means "God will provide Himself a sacrifice." "God will make a way," otherwise. Now, God had seven compound redemptive names; Jehovah-jireh, and Jehovah-manasseh, and Jehovah-rapha, the Healer; and all these different compound names that He had, what He was, representing what He was to the people. And this provided sacrifice, tonight, Jehovah-jireh, "The Lord will provide Himself a lamb."
The great dramatic story laying before us... As we move in now, may the Holy Spirit take these next few words and bind every heart.

Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

26 Now, this is the last night of the service, and I want each one of you to give me your undivided attention, and listen close now. We're trying to go in for the greatest victory of the meeting. This is the last night. Usually there's more people healed on the last night than there is in the rest of the meeting; the great anticipation.
Satan fights harder. Everything goes wrong, seemingly, because Satan is trying to keep that people in tension, and everything else, so that he can keep them away from this great time of strain that we're now entering into, for the great, as we would say, "Going in for the kill now."
He's already beat up, in the corner. He has been exposed and all of his devises is exposed. And men and women has accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour. People with cancer and tumors, and everything else, has been healed; doctors' statements proving that it's the truth.

27 Now, here sits a group of people here tonight, sitting, waiting under great anticipation. And Satan, if he can interrupt your mind, that's all he has to do. But let's go in now for the great kill, just now, to drive Satan and all of his powers plumb out of the building, that God can have the right-of-way and heal every sick person, for the glory of God.

28 Now, Abraham the patriarch come down out of Shinar, away from the tower of Babel. He and his father journeyed down into the plains. And there, Abraham, at the age of about seventy-five years old, God called Abraham, by election, and sent him out of his own country, telling him that he was going to have a child by his wife, Sarah, who was sixty-five years old at the time. God promised. I want you to see how God's promises are so real to those who will accept it. And He told him what He was going to do. And he moved out, not knowing where he was going, but sojourned in a strange land.
God, when He calls people, He calls for total separation from all the things of the world; annihilation from the worldly things. Separate yourself, and God will bless you. "Come out from among them; be not partakers of their sins. Yoke yourself not up among unbelievers," but yoke yourself with believers, fellow citizens of the kingdom.

Genesis 12:4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

29 And Abraham had to take his wife and leave the country. But he believed God, by faith. You couldn't reason it out. There's no way of finding how he could ever do it. How this woman: lived with her since she was a young girl---both of them young, healthy people---all these days, till she was then forty, fifty, sixty; probably twenty-five years past menopause. And God said, "You're going to have a baby by this woman." And Abraham believed God; against all reason, against all scientific research, even to this day. How could a woman, sixty-five years old, have a baby? But God said she was going to do it, so Abraham believed it.
So he went out, not knowing where he was going. And, finally, after Sarah got to be almost a hundred years old, Abraham still believing (I want you to see it.), still believing that God was going to keep His promise. He had everything ready for the baby. And finally the youngster arrived. God always does it that way. He brought the baby just in due season.

Genesis 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

30 See, longer it went, Abraham figured: "Well, I didn't get it today. I didn't get it this month. I didn't get it last month. But no matter how long it is, the longer it is, the older I'm getting, the more of a miracle it'll be"; give God praise for it.
Instead of being weak, like we'd be: prayed for tonight and get healed; said you got worse tomorrow; you say, "Oh, well, there's nothing to it." That's the reason: You can't keep God's Word.
"Thy Word have I hid in my heart, O Lord!"---David. Hide God's Word away in your heart, and then God will keep that Word. God has to keep His Word. God doesn't have to heal to prove His power. But He has to heal to keep His Word. That's right. God don't have to prove nothing. He's God. But what He speaks, He's obligated to His Word. So are you and I obligated to our word. And God is obligated to His Word.

Psalm 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

31 So, if divine healing is in the Word, that settles it. If "He was wounded for our transgressions, with His stripes we were healed," that was the sacrifice; that settles it. As far as I'm concerned, that's all. If God did it there, promised He'd do it, that settles it.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

32 That's the way it was with Abraham. No matter what come or went, Abraham believed it anyhow. Perhaps got everything ready for the youngster, then God let him go till he was a hundred years old; turned him and Sarah back to a young woman, young man again, and gave them the baby.

33 There, what a beautiful picture now we have before us, under consideration. Here's the youngster, becomes about sixteen years old, seventeen, the very heart of this old man and woman; lovely, the little fellow.
Now, God speaks to Abraham one night, said, "Abraham, take him up there to the mount, and offer him up. Kill him." And, yet, God had promised Abraham, that, "Through Isaac all the nations of the world would be blessed." How is he going now, after all these years waiting, believing; and now after all this time has passed, how is the baby... The only hope of God's promise, and God told Abraham to destroy every hope he had again.

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

Genesis 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

34 See how God does? Testings! God permits you sometime to get a little worse after you're prayed for, just to test you. The testings and trials of faith! But, "He that endureth..." There it is. Hold on; take God at His Word. Believe every word of it. No matter what anything else says or does, believe it anyhow. No matter what the circumstance looks like, believe God anyhow.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

35 Then, there God says, "You take the boy and take him up there. I'm going to bless all the world with him. You've waited for all these years; now you're a hundred years old ... about a hundred and sixteen, eighteen years old. Now, I want you to take the little fellow, and take him up on the hill there and kill him."
My! Oh, seems very strange, unreasonable, that God would ask Abraham to destroy his only son. But, behind it now, we see the picture He was painting: God giving His only Son.

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

36 Abraham didn't want to tell the mother; of course, it would break her heart. Saddled up some mules, and taken a few servants, and rode off to the mountain.
I just love this part here. Then he got up to where the mount was, and he said to the servants, "You wait here now, while the boy and I go yonder to worship. And the boy and I will return."
How is he going to return, when he's going to kill him? But Abraham knew this, that he had received him in a figure, as one from the dead, and God was able to raise him up from the dead. God would make a way of escape, some way. How, he didn't know. God told him, "Take him and kill him," and that was his only thing he had to do.
"You wait here. The boy and I will go yonder to worship, and the boy and I will return."

Genesis 22:3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

Genesis 22:5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

Hebrews 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

37 Notice, little Isaac picked up the wood, went up the hill. The father, leading; Isaac, behind, with the wood on his back. Look at it, beautiful picture of some eight hundred years later: God leading His own Son up Calvary, with the wood on His back, for the sacrifice. Picture: God making a way of escape.

Genesis 22:6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

38 Now, and when Abraham got up on top of the mount, rolled the rocks together and built the altar, laid the wood down; the little lad said, "Father?"
He said, "Here am I, son."
He said, "Here is the altar, and here is the wood, but where is the lamb for a sacrifice?"
And Abraham, with trembling voice, said, "God will provide a lamb for the sacrifice." Look at that dark moment. Yet, faith, unadulterated, wouldn't let him disbelieve God. Notice. Oh, I just look at this story sometimes and weep for joy.

39 Abraham bound his own son's hand, laid him up on the altar; pulled the knife from his belt, and was ready to take his son's life, because God had told him to do so.
And at that time, a voice screamed from the Heavens, said, "Abraham, stay your hand!" And when the Holy Spirit caught his hand, said, "I see that you haven't withheld your own son. I know you love me."

Genesis 22:9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

Genesis 22:10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

Genesis 22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

40 And about that time, something begin to bleat over in the wilderness, caught up over there, and there was a little ram. God provided a sacrifice.
Watch! A ram. It had to be a sheep, a male, a ram. Type of Christ, who would take the place of death. There is God's provided sacrifice. And Abraham offered up the sacrifice in Isaac's stead. What a beautiful picture now! Notice, God always made a way. He'll make a way tonight for every one of you.

Genesis 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

41 And Israel, when they were down in Egypt, they were in bondage and in trouble, and they begin to cry to God for deliverance. Notice, the way God will provide is when we're in God's Word. Israel had God's Word that they were going out of there someday. So, they went to crying to God, according to the will of God, for God to provide what He had promised to do.
There you are. You're praying for something that's out of the will of God, you can't have faith for it. But when God promises anything, I believe that He will keep His Word. So, they knew.
That's the reason Abraham knew that God was going to deliver him somehow, because He had promised that through Isaac, all the nations in the world would be blessed.
The children of Israel, down in Egypt, they knew God had promised them deliverance, so they went to praying for the promise.

42 You say, "Brother Branham, if I knowed divine healing, that God had promised it."
All right, let's take it just a moment. James 5:14. If there ain't a healing campaign in the city somewhere, he said, "If there's any among you, sick, let him call the elders of the church; anoint them in oil, and pray over them. The prayer of faith shall save the sick." That's God's Word, God's provided way. That's right.

James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

43 Notice! When Israel begin to cry, God begin to hear, and provided a way of escape: sent Moses to them. How strange it was: After crying for deliverance, and when deliverance was brought to them, they failed to recognize it, and refused it, and had to suffer forty years more.
Isn't that typical of today? God will bring you something, and you'll get scared of it.
God sent the Holy Spirit to you people who didn't like all this formal church, ritualistic religion. God sent you the Holy Spirit; great groups of them are scared of it.

44 The disciples were about to sink, one night, in a little boat, and it bounced around out on the sea, and they were crying for help. And when they seen the only Man that could stop the waves coming, they were scared of Him and thought He was a ghost. The only hope they had, they were scared of it.

45 There's men and women sitting here tonight with cancer, heart trouble, dangerous diseases, no doubt. And the only hope that you have, after your doctor's done done all he can do, you're just scared to reach out and trust Him.
Don't be scared. Take His Word. Stand right out there. It's God's provided way for you. God sent you here tonight for that purpose. He never sent you here tonight for me to pray for you. He sent you here tonight to accept His provided way: Jesus Christ, the atoning sacrifice for sin and sickness. I hope you get it.

46 Notice! They cried for deliverance. God sent them deliverance. They had to wait forty years again to receive it.
In the wilderness, God promised He'd supply everything they had need of. They got out of bread. And the same Jehovah-jireh, "God will provide the sacrifice" to Abraham, four hundred years later was still Jehovah-jireh, to provide everything that His children had need of.

47 Here it is. I want it to go way deep on the left side, under the fifth rib. Listen. He's still Jehovah-jireh, "the Lord's provided sacrifice." Accept it. Don't just try to reason it out. Don't try to reason; you can't reason. God's ways are past finding out. You don't reason God. You don't know Him by knowledge. You don't know Him by education. You know Him by one thing only: faith! You can't reason. It's unreasonable to believe that you could reason it out. You can't. You just have to accept it.

48 Notice, again, in this great, tremendous time. They run out of bread. "What are we going to do?" If God told them they was going to the promised land, it's up to God to take care of them till they get there. And the very Jehovah-jireh was right with them. And then when they run out of bread, Jehovah-jireh provided a way of bread, all the way through the wilderness. Manna rained out of heaven.
They run out of water. What's the use of worrying? Jehovah-jireh, the Lord's provided sacrifice, was right with them. And he smote the rock. And they spake to it, from then on, and waters come abundantly. Water all their cattle, thousands of gallons per second, pouring out of a rock in a dry desert. Unreasonable, isn't it? But God provided. You don't reason how He does do it. He just does it because He said He would.

49 How could a patient, laying, dying with cancer, the best of doctors says that there's no hope at all, how could they get well? It's unreasonable. But He's Jehovah-jireh, the Lord's provided sacrifice. How beautiful!

50 One day, they got sickness in the camp. They had no ... probably no medics and treatments. What was... Moses out there with all that group of people, about two million of them, old and young, and sick and all; when they come out of the wilderness, there wasn't a feeble one among them. But now notice, when they were out there, and they sinned, and snakes begin to bite them, there was nothing they could do. And God, while Moses speaking to Him, provided an atonement; told Moses, "Go get a piece of brass. Make a serpent out of it, and put it on a pole. And it'll come to pass, whosoever shall look upon this serpent will be made well."
Beautiful type, again. The brass, the serpent itself, spake of sin already judged; Eden, when God pronounced the judgment upon the serpent, it was already judged.

Numbers 21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

51 The brass speaks of divine judgment, on the brazen altar where the beasts bodies were burnt. After the blood was taken; every nine o'clock at morning, twelve o'clock, and three o'clock in the afternoon, gallons of blood was throwed on this altar, over the bodies of the dead beasts, black smoke rose up. Every Jew in Palestine fell to his feet, and his hands towards Heaven; and, as that smoke ascended up, his prayers went with it. All right. Divine judgment; the bodies burnt on a brass altar.
Just like in Israel, when Ahab had caused Israel to sin. And Elijah went out to look at the skies; three years and six months, no rain. He said, "It looks like brass," divine judgment.
In Revelations, when they seen Jesus, in Revelations 1, "His feet looked like brass," divine judgment.

2 Corinthians 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Revelation 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

52 The serpent spake of divine judgment, to appease God. His judgments are divine. And, then, the pole represented the cross. And the serpent represented Jesus, the lovely Lord Jesus; He came down and was made sin. God Himself revealed Himself in a body, made like unto sinful flesh, to take away sickness and sin from the world. How beautiful! In there He made a way. Jesus said, "As Moses lifted up the brass serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up."
Now, what was the brass serpent lifted up for? For a compound reason. They had sinned and were sick. Now, then, Jesus was lifted up, "Wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes we are healed," compound reason. And it's still just as real tonight for Christ to heal the sick, as it is to save the sinners.
More of a miracle for Him to save a sinner; He has to change his ways. And, surely, after he's already changed, he would know how to believe God for his healing. See what I mean?

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

53 Another beautiful type, quickly: I just happened to think, in the book of Ruth. Many of you run over the top of that book, not thinking what it is. That's one of the most greatest stories in there, of a type of Christ, in all the Old Testament.
In the first chapter of the book of Ruth, Naomi... The word Naomi, means "pleasant." She, her husband, and her two sons, left Palestine: type of the church. And they left Palestine, went over into the land of Moab. And there they homesteaded, out of the homeland. That's a symbol of backsliding, like Israel did. Any Jew that left Palestine was out of the will of the Lord. God gave Palestine to the Jews, and said, "Remain there." And Ruth went out ... or, not Ruth, but Naomi.

Ruth 1:1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

Ruth 1:2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.

54 And her two sons got married. And all the men died---her husband and the two sons. She started back to her home. Her daughter-in-laws went part of the way with her. One of them lifted up her eyes and looked back into her homeland; she went back. But Ruth, the Moabite, she wouldn't go. She loved her mother-in-law.
She said, "Go back to your own people. I'm old. And if I'd have more children, why,..." You know the laws, how it had to be in them days, you Bible scholars. Said, "If I would have a child, it would be ... you'd be too old for it when it growed up. So go back, and can remarry." Oh, I love this.

Ruth 1:3 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.

Ruth 1:4 And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

Ruth 1:5 And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

Ruth 1:6 Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the Lord had visited his people in giving them bread.

Ruth 1:12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;

Ruth 1:13 Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.

Ruth 1:14 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.

55 Naomi, now, the type of the Jewish church. Ruth, the type of the Gentile church. Notice. And now, here she comes back, see.
Ruth, being a Gentile, heathen worshipper, she looked back and she said, "I will go with you. Where you live, I'll live. Where you die, I'll die. Where you are buried, I'll be buried. Let your God be my God." That's the Gentile church accepting salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Notice what a beautiful picture! And now wish we had time.

Ruth 1:16 And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

Ruth 1:17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

56 The second chapter, in Ruth, reveals her time to return, when she come back just in harvest time, barley season. And when she seen ... looked over the homeland, she wept: "I'm just longing to get into Palestine!" See, they was weeping as they seen the homeland.

Ruth 1:22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.

57 Those Jews, by the thousands, pouring into Palestine. That's the calendar of the day, brother.
I tell you, we're living at the end of the road. I wouldn't be a bit surprised that there's many people sitting here, in old age, will see the time when there won't be one stone left upon another, in Louisville, Kentucky. That may be in another year. I don't know; don't say I said a year. I don't know; no one does. But we're at the end of the road. I know that. Those hydrogen bombs and things are ready to explode anytime.
The Jews are going back to Jerusalem. And the six-point Star of David, the oldest flag in the world, flies over Jerusalem, the first time for two thousand years. Sign time!

58 And, notice, just as Naomi, who had lost everything she had, and was returning back just in barley season.
And Palestine today is becoming to blossom like a rose. Some of the greatest things is found, riches of all the lands in the world; chemicals found in the Dead Sea, that's priceless to mention. Palestine, greatest citrus country, lemons that'll weigh five pounds apiece, nearly, raised there. Think of it! All fulfilling God's divine Word! Going home, the Jews returning in barley season!

Ruth 1:22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.

59 She raised up her hands and wept. And they said, "Here comes Naomi."
She said, "Don't call me Naomi, for God has dealt with me bitterly," not knowing what she was bringing with her. Little does the Jew know that his rejecting of Jesus only give the Gentile a place to come in. Oh, I just love it. Notice. Then, when she lifted up her eyes, and wept.

Ruth 1:20 And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

60 And notice. Then they had to get... All of her inheritance had been taken away from her, so they had to make a living. Ruth, being a young, beautiful woman, went out into the fields of Boaz, to glean. That was what the peasants did---the poor.
Want you to notice the type the church is. It's a poor church. Ruth, being a type of the Gentile bride now, she went out behind the harvesters, to pick up a few straws that had some wheat on it; shuck it off like that, in a sack, for a living. Gleaning, barefooted, in the fields of Boaz.
And Boaz was the lord of the harvest, representing Jesus Christ, the Son of God, notice, the great Lord of the harvest. And he came out to look upon his fields. He saw the gleaners out there; he saw the reapers. And when he cast his eyes towards Ruth, he fell in love with her; Christ, with His church. He said, "Who is this damsel that gleans in the field?"
They said, "Ruth brought her back."

Ruth 2:3 And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.

Ruth 2:5 Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

61 The Jewish church, under the leading of the pillar of fire---under the leading of Jehovah---made a way, of the Old Testament, for the Holy Ghost Christian of the New. Brought her with them. Oh, we had time to rest on this a little bit.

62 Notice, coming back. Then he said, "Have her to come over and sit under the shade, and eat some of the food with us." Oh, if we had time to put some emphasis on that.
Notice, then, Boaz looks upon her, seen she was "a virtuous woman." That surely must have been holiness. So he walked around and said to all of the reapers, he said, "Now, you, when this young lady is coming behind you," not letting her know it, said, "but now when she gets behind you, every once in a while, drop a extra handful so she can get it." Oh, my!

Ruth 2:14 And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.

Ruth 2:15 And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:

Ruth 2:16 And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.

63 Going around, having a little meeting over here, and a cottage prayer meeting, laughed at, made fun of by the others, the other reapers. Picking up a straw here and there, and shucking it out. Getting a little blessing here, and driving fifty miles for another. But I'm so thankful for a great big handful, once in a while, the little born again church finds at an old-fashioned revival: a handful.

64 She had picked this up, I guess, and say, "Bless the Lord." Shucked it out. And at nighttime she had a sack-full.
Boaz, representing Christ, goes to the city, quickly. He didn't want this girl to get away. Said, "Who does she belong to?"
Said, "Naomi."
And the Orthodox Jewish church gave birth to the Gentile church. That's right.
Said, "Who is she?"
Said, "She is Naomi." So she goes...
Then he goes down. He said, "Now, I have got to redeem all of her possessions." Now, the law of redemption, in the Old Testament, that it must be a kinsman redeemer. The law required, not any person could redeem a lost estate, but it had to be somebody that was kinfolks; and then somebody that was able to redeem, worthy enough to redeem, financially able.

Leviticus 25:25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

Ruth 2:5 Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

Ruth 2:6 And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:

65 How beautiful! Oh, my! Christ, worthy, double worthy! The King of Heaven, seeing the little, Holy Spirit-filled church, dropping a little handful now and then.
Notice, the only way that God could redeem, God had to come down and be made kinfolks to us. God was in Spirit. God come down and was made flesh. "God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself." Then, in order to redeem man, He had to become man, kinfolks. Could you imagine Deity coming down, made flesh? Love!

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

66 What will a young man do for his young bride that he wants for a sweetheart? He's blind. He'll do anything. Yes, sir. He wants her. Nothing can stop him; he's going to have her.
That's the way God did when He seen the church. He loved her. Nothing was going to stop. He was ready to give His life, and God moved down in a body of flesh. Worthy, the King of Heaven, made kinfolks. Then, God, after He come in the flesh, in Jesus Christ, become a kinsman Redeemer.

67 Watch Boaz. Now, before he could have her, he had to ask if there was anybody, near kinsmen, that could take it ... take her. So in order... There was no one could do it, so then he had to make a public testimony before Israel, that he had redeemed Naomi. And he redeemed Naomi, in order to get Ruth. Oh, my!
"He came to His own, and His own received Him not." But he had to redeem Naomi, to get Ruth, see. Oh, what a beautiful picture! Tell me God's Word is not inspired! Every bit of it, speaking of the coming! And Ruth, now waiting.

Ruth 4:4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.

Ruth 4:5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Ruth 4:6 And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.

Ruth 4:7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

Ruth 4:8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.

Ruth 4:9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.

John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

68 And Boaz, the king of the harvest ... or, the lord of the harvest, goes outside the gates, and calls all the elders of the city; and made a public testimony, outside the gate. He said, "See to it, all of you people!" He took off his shoe, kicked it off before them, as a testimony. Said, "I, this day, have redeemed all of Naomi's lost heritage. And all of her possessions is mine, this day." Oh, my!
Get ready; here it is. Oh, I just feel something moving. Notice! Christ, before the elders of Israel, led outside the gates of the city, and made a testimony. "He was wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes we were healed." A public testimony, He's redeemed the church from what? Her lost estate. In the garden of Eden, we didn't have any sickness; the garden of Eden, we had no sin; the garden of Eden, we had no death. "And God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son," made a testimony outside the gate, that He had provided a way of escape for all who wanted to come. What a beautiful picture! I hope you can see it. Now, the Lord be blessed!
And as I see, maybe, my time is getting away.

Ruth 4:9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

69 God making a provided way, and He made it in Jesus Christ. When Jesus went up Golgotha's hill, wounded, bleeding, the cross dragging out the bloody footprints as He climbed the hill. Went up there ... public testimony: "He was wounded for our transgressions, with His stripes we were healed." Died, ascended on High. You believe it? And sent back spiritual gifts to the church, making a provided way. And this joy that we have in our hearts now is only the down payment, the earnest money, on what it will be when we're fully redeemed. And this divine healing we have now is the earnest on our redemption of our body. We are redeemed. God made a provided sacrifice.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

70 I'll have to stop, friends, 'cause people are getting up and going out.
I said to my wife, the other day, "I have preached in about ... I don't know how many different nations, in every city throughout the United States. And Louisville, Kentucky, is the only place that people ever got up and went out when I was preaching." That's right. Home, see. Only place I ever seen.
If anybody's noticed that, that's been in other meetings with me, raise up your hands, over the building. Sure.
Around, everywhere else, and never had it nowhere in my life but here at my own home place, Louisville, Kentucky. People get right up and go out, when you go to laying the Gospel right to the hewing line. They'll do it. And I've never had it nowhere else, anywhere in the world, I've ever been; even to Africa, all the other places, Sweden, Norway, where tens of thousands sat. In my humble opinion, I have never one time witnessed one person leaving, getting up and going out, while preaching; only right here.
You see, friends, this week I have battled hard to try to convince some of the people, that...

71 Jesus Christ's words, no matter what it is, has to be right. He said, "A prophet is not without honor except among his own people, his own county." And that's exactly right. They just won't receive it. I don't know why. Jesus said so, and that settles it. I got people around this country that would almost be willing to die for me. They love me. But in the general hold, it's God's Word; and God must keep His Word, in order to be God. That's right.
And anybody that's been in the meetings before, outside of here, we've had the fewest signs and miracles that's been done in any meeting I've ever seen of this ti... of this long. Usually there's blind, deaf, dumb, cripples, and everything, wheelchairs piled in the corner, and people going places, and cots and stretchers.
And there's only, as far as I know, there's been two people sitting here. I seen one of them, before, this boy here, sitting there. Seen the Holy Spirit stand over him the other night, come very near... I could have pronounced his healing, and just as I... 'fore I got through preaching; but I seen it drop back away from him, begin... Something crossed his place there, and kept it from him. Is the only person that I've seen even afflicted in any way, outside of a couple deaf people, or something come to the platform, they told me about. I don't know. But there you are. It's home. It's around your people.

Matthew 13:57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.

Mark 6:4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

John 4:44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.

72 Now, to my good friend, Mr. McSpadden, Mr. McDowell, and those who are sitting in the building, tonight, who I've tried to tell this to. And you people at Jeffersonville, out of the Tabernacle, do you see what I speak of? You can't change the Word of God. It'll be forever that way, 'cause Jesus said so.
Now, and to the people that were begging me to come back to the Tabernacle, do you see why? Where probably been fifty people saved this week, around here, in a revival; maybe not that many, maybe not ten, for all I know. Where, ordinary, in eight days, it would build into the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds, somewhere else, see. See the difference? It's home. It's among your people.
Not because that they don't love me, but because Jesus said so. And when He went to His own people, the only thing He could do was to lay hands on a few sick folks and heal them; no mighty works He could do. Is that right? That's quoting Scripture. And that's the way it has to be. That's right. It isn't me, after all. It's Him. It's just Him. If I was a healer...

73 I got a brother laying in the hospital, tonight, that God showed me, a year ago. And I guess there's two hundred witnesses right here, of the boy fine and healthy. But God sent a vision and said, "He's going. And no matter what comes to pass, he's going."
The doctor said, not long ago, "We can save him." But they didn't, and they won't.
I seen the Holy Spirit come, show the vision, and marked his grave, and said, "He's the next one." And that's the way it'll be. How many heard me say that, long, long, long time ago? Raise your hands. That's right. And the boy's big, stout, and healthy; he just must go. That's all. How? If I was a healer, I'd heal him. That's my own, my own brother.
But when God has said, God will keep His Word. And that's the reason I know what, "Thus saith the Lord." I'll die by it, for it's God's Word and He will keep it. He's provided a way, and I'm glad to accept it tonight, the Lord Jesus Christ. Aren't you? May His eternal blessings rest upon you.

74 And again I say, God's provided sacrifice, tonight, the way of escape, is through Jesus Christ. [Gap in the audio.] Then, Jesus Christ provided a church for the unbelievers, that they could come in and see the manifestation of His resurrection, and know beyond a shadow of doubt that He rose from the dead. Jesus rose from the dead, making a provided way for whosoever will might look and live. But if you refuse to look, how can you do anything but die? Jesus said, "If you don't believe that I am He, you'll die in your sins." That's true.

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

75 Friends, I've always tried to keep a balance of the road. You get way off on formalism, just as formal and ritualistic as it can be, people grab for that lot. Then if you don't watch, you'll get plumb off over on the other side, and be just as fanatic as you can be. But there's a middle of the road, where the true, sound, sane Gospel is preached, and God moves in there, vindicating the truth. "Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, but few there'll be that find it." All right

Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

76 To you little group of people here tonight, seated here, may God's love overshadow you tonight. And especially the sick, needy, I pray that there will not be one of you but what will go home well. If I could do anything about it, I'd gladly do it; but I can't do it. The only thing that I can do is represent Him to you, in a way of a divine gift.
Now if I speak the truth that God provided a sacrifice; and that sacrifice, Jehovah-jireh, was Jesus Christ. And all of the seven compound, redemptive names laid in Jesus Christ. Jehovah-jireh, "the Lord's provided sacrifice." Jehovah-rapha, "the Lord that heals thy diseases." And Jehovah ... "the banner." And all the other, seven compound names, was all in Christ Jesus. And there's where all the types and the shadows of the Old Testament, all come and met in Jesus Christ. He paid the supreme price, ascended on High, and sent back the Holy Ghost, tonight, which is God's provided way of your escape.
[Gap in the audio] ... we had time to go in.

77 I can see the wise men packing up their camels, right quick. "Where you going, honey?" says the wife.
"I'm going to see the young King that's born, way in Palestine."
"Well, you didn't even take your compass."
He said, "I don't need any compass."
"How you going through the deserts, and valleys, and hills, without a compass?"
He pointed up to the star, said, "I'm going God's provided way." The star led him right straight to Jesus.

78 And listen, 'fore we close. God has a provided way here tonight; not through church, not through theology. But through the Holy Spirit, will lead you to God's provided way of your sanctification, the healing of your body, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, to joy, peace, and everything you have need of. Jesus Christ is God's provided sacrifice.
And I say that He rose from the dead, ascended on high, sent back the Holy Ghost as God's provided way to lead the church. He said, "He will not speak of Himself, but he will testify of me," Jesus said. "And when He comes, he'll bring these things to your memory, and will show you things to come. For the things that I do shall you do also. The world won't see it, but you'll see it. I'll be with you, even in you, to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

79 Hear it, Louisville, my last message to you! God's provided sacrifice is Jesus Christ, the resurrected One here empowering the church by the Holy Ghost. This is the light. Walk ye in it, find rest to your soul, healing of your diseases.
Shall we pray.

80 Heavenly Father, O God, way down deep in my soul, I wonder, as I'm made to wonder, of seeing this great beautiful nation of America, and seeing those big bombs out there being laid up across the sea. Wicked, ungodly men denying God, denying the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, with all the wickedness and mischievousness, and devices that Satan can push into their mind to destroy this world, do just exactly like You said it would: "burn it with heat." And even the great scientists of the world saying, "Within ten years there'll be a total annihilation, no one left, nothing living on the earth; swept across by the hydrogen bomb."
O God, men and women sitting here, unprepared tonight. You've been, this week, glorious to us. We've sat in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, and we thank You for these dear saints in Louisville. God, may they go from this meeting, with a voice of warning, to all around.

81 Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that You'll send somebody in here with an old-fashioned revival, that will break down the walls around Louisville. Oh, do, God. May many loved ones be brought to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I've did my best, Lord Jesus, all that I know how to do, giving a voice against sin as hard as I know how, and Thou has been more than glorious to us. You've confirmed every word with signs and wonders, and we thank Thee. Now, Father, for the results, we commit it all to You. Let Your will be done.

82 Bless Brother Cauble, Lord, our brother. And bless all of his staff, and all the other ministers. We think of little Brother Durban, down here, and these other brothers around here, who's fine brethren; trying their best to hammer away against sin and wickedness, whiskey and drinking, and carrying on, and rallying, or everything around the city. They're trying to give a voice of warning. God, bless them men and anoint them with the Holy Ghost. Grant it, Lord. May they be good stewards, having great success of calling the people out of darkness, into the marvelous light.
And now, Lord, in the closing service, tonight, won't You come? Come just once more, great Holy Spirit, power divine, and overshadow us with Thy blessings. And may the Angel of God stand here at the platform, as a witness of the resurrection of God's provided sacrifice, the Lord Jesus Christ. And may He do great signs and wonders, in confirmation of the Word. For we ask it in His name, Thy beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

83 May the Lord bless you, Christian friends. Now I want to pray for the sick. I want to ask you now, just beforehand: Is there one person present in the building, that hasn't been saved, has never yet even as much as been converted, asking Christ to forgive their sins? I'm asking you openly, just rugged way. And I believe that you'll be man or woman enough, or boy or girl, to do it. If you've never accepted Jesus as your personal Saviour, and want to do it now, will you stand to your feet as a believer, and say, "I now, from this hour, will be a believer in Jesus Christ."? God bless you, sir. God bless you, lady. God bless you, lady. God bless you, lady.
You're confessing your faith in Jesus Christ, as you do this. About five souls, would've died five minutes ago, would have went in black eternity. If they die now, they're covered by the blood.

84 One more, where is it? Right in the back, God bless you. Yes, my brother. God bless you, brother. God bless you. God bless you, sister. That's right. Just old rugged... God bless you, brother, accepting Jesus. God bless you, brother. God bless you. Up in the balcony, somewhere? God bless you, sister.
That's wonderful. Oh, my! I wish we had some room here for an old-fashioned mourner's bench and an altar call. That's what we need right now.

85 How many in here says, "Brother Branham, I have been a sinner, but now I'm confessing, accepting in my heart, Jesus Christ, God's provided sacrifice."? About two dozen has stood. Will you stand and say... God bless you. God bless you, young man. That's fine. God bless you. Someone else stand, and say, "Now I'm accepting Jesus Christ right now, as my Saviour. I'm making this confession openly, before the people and before God, that I now accept God's remedy for my sins, Jesus Christ." Would there be one more, over here, anywhere? God bless you, young man. That's gallant. God bless you. That's fine.
Someone else would stand, say, "I now accept Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour, I take God's provided sacrifice for my sin." God bless you, dad; aged man, gray-headed, trembling, raises up to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour.

86 Now, God knows your heart; He's looking right at you. God bless you, young man. I seen you there, with the red sweater on, raise up. All right, someone else, raise up and say, "I accept." God bless you, and you, the lady and the young boy up there. God bless you. May God...
Your name goes on the Lamb's book of life when you stand publicly before this audience. "He that will confess me before men, him will I confess before my Father and the holy angels. If you're ashamed of Me here before men, I will be ashamed of you at that day."

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Mark 10:32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,

Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

Luke 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

87 Have you been sinful, and want to be forgiven? Any other person that hasn't stood yet, and wants to stand, just to accept God's provided sacrifice for your sin, would you stand? Some... God bless you. God bless you. That's a soldier boy. God bless you over here, too. The Lord be with you, my brother.
Would someone else? All right. God bless you, lady. God bless you, sister. That's fine. Someone else wants eternal life, by accepting Jesus Christ? God bless you. Yes. God bless you, three of you, up in the balcony. Isn't that marvelous? Some thirty, or more, now. All right.
God bless you. That's the way, accepting Jesus, God's provided sacrifice. He's Jehovah-jireh. All right. The Lord bless you in the balcony, my sister, giving you eternal life.

88 Now you're finding favor with God. There's not a Christian in here that knows anything about God, but knows that the last five minutes, the atmosphere has changed, completely, in this building. That's right, see. Just in the darkest of the moment, then Jesus comes along.
Someone else say, "I now accept Jesus Christ. God bless you, lady. "I accept Him, want my name wrote on His book. I accept Him right now as my supreme Ruler of my life." God bless you, sir. God bless you.

89 Someone else, a backslider, would stand up and say, "I once was a Christian, Brother Branham, but I've traveled away, away from God. Tonight, I'm coming home." God bless you, sister. God bless you, brother. Oh, God sees you. God bless you, lady. God bless you, brother. God bless you, sister. God bless you, sister. That's right. Oh, my! God bless you, brother; I see you in the balcony. God bless you. God bless you, brother with his hands up. Somebody else? God bless you, lady. That's wonderful. God bless you, sister. That's wonderful. Just keep coming. God bless you, sister; I see you standing. God bless you, sir, up there on the platform, with your hand up. God bless you.
In the back, way back in the back, would somebody say, "Brother Branham, I now have backslid; I'm coming home. I accept my remedy, Jesus Christ, the provided sacrifice for my backsliding. I'm coming home, right tonight. I settle it right here, now and forever. And I know that when..." [Gap in the audio.]
Open wide Thine arms of love,
Lord, I'm coming home.
Coming home, coming home,
Never more to roam;
Open wide Thine arms of love,
Lord, I'm coming home.

90 Wonder if we could hum it. [Brother Branham begins humming: Lord, I'm Coming Home.]
While they're humming it, is there one here, left, would say, "Lord, You see me as I stand. I'm coming home now. I'm tired of this roaming around, unsettled peace. I'm accepting Your way out, Jesus Christ as my Saviour. I now come, Lord, just as I am. I'm coming; raise up my hand. I'm going to stand up and let You see, and this audience, that I now believe, and I'm coming home."? [Brother Branham hums Lord, I'm Coming Home.] God bless you, sister.
Coming home, coming home,
Nev................
Ever who feels in their heart that they want to accept Him, just stand to your feet.
Open wide Thine arms of love,
Lord, I'm coming home.
Just continue on, if you will, sister.

91 I'm going to ask you something now: Every person that stood, I want you to stand to your feet while I offer prayer for you. Every person that stood up, stand again, just for a few moments. Just stand up, everywhere over the building. Everybody that stood, stand again, everywhere, balconies and everywhere, that we can offer prayer. That's it. That's it. Every one of you that stood, that stood up a while ago. And if there's any more that wants to stand with them, accepting Christ, will you stand now? God bless you.
Let's bow our heads now.

92 Kind Heavenly Father, these are now coming as Your children. They have already come. The moment that the Holy Spirit spoke to their soul, they stood and accepted You, and You gave them everlasting life. God, bless them. Walk with them through life, Father. Some of them have been Your servants, times gone by, but have fallen away; and, tonight, the Holy Spirit, by the preaching of the Word, come down and anointed them. And they now stand, accepting You, and giving You thanks for their eternal life that they now possess in Jesus Christ. Thank You, Father. May their life be happy and pleasant. May sickness stay away from their door. And may they live long, happy lives; and come at peace, into the kingdom of God, at the end of the world. In Jesus Christ's name we ask it. Amen.

93 God bless you. And the people said ... [Congregation says, "Amen."] Amen. God bless each one. If you're sitting near someone who raised up; shake their hand, Christian, and tell them how happy you are for them.
We haven't got the place here, to call them up around the altar. We just haven't got the room here to do it. The Lord bless you; many, many souls.

94 Now you know, according to the Word of God, what's happened in Heaven at this time? Angels are rejoicing. The black flags of Satan has been defeated; they're down and chased out. And the angels and their white victory flags are flying through Heaven tonight, and the bells of glory are ringing, just ringing melodies, as one sinner coming to Christ. The Lord be blessed and praised forever! Oh, my!
I just believe we're going to have a real healing service now. [Someone speaks to Bro. Branham.] Yes? What? Prayer cards?
[Gap in the audio]

95 I, at this service, take every spirit in the building, under my control, for God's glory. Reason I say that, that puts the name of Jesus Christ over the whole audience. If Satan would get unruly, you'd see what would happen. They'd probably pack them right out the door, out of this world, see.
Now. So you must be obedient. Don't get up and walk around. Sit still. These diseases go from one to another. You know, Bible scholars, that that's true, see. Not playing church now. And I'm not responsible for critics or unbelievers. Hear it! I speak in His name.

96 Now, the Angel of the Lord, near, I trust that God will manifest the resurrection of His Son.
Now you come near. I suppose, sister, you and I standing here together, that we're strangers to each other. I don't know you. I've never seen you. But God knows both of us. You're just a person that was brought up out of the audience. Some of them give you a prayer card, had a number on it. You just got your number, and it was called, and here you are.

97 And you don't have to have the prayer card. Anyone sitting in the audience, just start praying; see if the Holy Spirit just isn't the same tonight, that's on the church, that was on Jesus Christ. See if it isn't. If it isn't ... if it isn't, then I have misrepresented the Gospel to you, then I become a false witness of the resurrection. If God confirms it to be the truth, then I have told the truth, and God has said it's the truth.

98 Now, the lady here, a stranger, never seen her in my life. She never seen me, I guess. We just met here, that's all. I don't know her. God does know her.
Now, when our Lord Jesus was here, He talked to a woman one time, He'd never seen in His life. She was getting some water at the well. And He said, "Bring me a drink." And He talked to her long enough to catch her spirit, then He told her where her trouble was.
And she said, "Well, I perceive that you're a prophet."
Now, Jesus said, "The things that I do shall you also, plumb to the end of the world."

John 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

John 4:19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

99 A man come in His prayer line, one time; he was a righteous man. He said, "You are a Christian, a good man, a honorable man."
He said, "When did You know me, Rabbi?" Or, "Reverend, Teacher," whatever you interpret it.
He said, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the tree, I saw you." In other words, "You prayed before you come to the meeting, and I seen you doing it."
He said, "Thou art the Son of God. You're the King of Israel."
Now, if Jesus has risen from the dead, then He'll do the same.

John 1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

100 Now, audience, now He is here, the Angel of the Lord. You're aware of that now, that something happened just then. Isn't that true? That's true. It is here?
Now, to heal you, I couldn't. Your life you could not hide, for you're not in the presence of your brother; it's in the presence of Him. Isn't that the truth? And you believe Him with all your heart, that God has sent us here to try to help you. Besides being sick, yourself, you have a loved one that's sick. That's your husband. He has a rupture, doesn't he? Yes. You're both healed. You can go home now. God be with you and bless you. God bless you, sister. Simple faith touched and healed the woman.

101 Come. How do you do, sister? Suppose we're strangers to each other. We don't know one another. Now, I'm just your brother. It's for your baby, is what you're here for. A dark shadow hangs over the baby. Its disease is incurable, as far as doctors is concerned. Do you believe He would reveal to me what's wrong with the baby? With all your heart, you believe it? There's been some sort of a hospital experience. The baby has had an operation. And it's something in the bowels. And there's some kind of a bone or something there that's wrong. And the baby has got a swollen liver now. Isn't that true? That's the truth, isn't it? ["Yes, sir."]
Now, that wasn't me that said that. That was just fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. And His presence is here. Now the only thing I can do is ask God for your baby. You accept the baby's healing? [The sister says, "Yes, sir."]
Christ, Son of God, have mercy on this dying child. May it be made well this very night. Grant, Lord Jesus, that Your blessings come upon it and it'll be well, for I ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
God bless you, mother. Let me hear about the baby, what happens. You're going to find a difference in it, in the next twenty-four hours. Now remember what I've told you. He who knows what was, knows what will be. All right.

102 Come, lady. You believing with all your heart? You believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is here to heal and to make well? You believe me as His servant? You're conscious that you're in the presence of something besides man, and that's His Spirit.

103 The audience may not understand this. But watch the expression on the patient's face when they walk near here. Not 'cause it's me; I have nothing to do with it. I'm just a voice. But this woman here, or any of the rest, understands and knows that there's something supernatural here. And you can see it as a miracle. What is a miracle? Something that's not understood.

104 Now, the woman, a stranger to me, and I to the woman; know not each other; first time in life to meet, perhaps. But God has fed us both since we were born.
Lady, do you believe that the same Lord Jesus that talked to the woman at the well, that I have represented here tonight, that three hundred ... or, a hundred and three souls accepted Him as Saviour? Do you believe now that He knows your heart, and knows everything you've done? If He will reveal to me what you are desiring now, will you accept it? Neuritis. Is that right? You believe me now? Now, here's something else. You're interested in a loved one, which is a boy. And that boy has heart trouble. And he's a member of a church here in Louisville. A Baptist church. Go, the Lord Jesus bless thee and grant to thee the desire of thy heart. Amen.

105 Just be reverent; accept, believe.

106 Now I see a lady, colored lady, sitting, praying. She's got kidney trouble. You don't have it now, lady. Your faith has made you whole. Stand up. God bless you. Just believe, with all your heart, and you shall have it. The Holy Spirit, New Testament religion! Amen.
Do you believe that blood pressure will leave you, sir; sitting there, looking at me? Yes. All right, you can have it. God bless you.
Just believe Him.

107 Have faith, sister, sitting there looking this way, praying too. Got something wrong with your throat, haven't you? Sitting right back behind that little girl there. Do you believe that God will make you well, the little lady sitting here? You're sitting there praying for me to say something to you. I know it's your throat condition. You don't need no prayer card. You just need what you got, faith. Do you accept your healing now? God bless you. You go home and get well now. Amen.
Have faith! Believe with all your heart; Jesus Christ will bring it to pass. Oh, I love Him, don't you? All right.
Come, mister.
Have faith in God. Believe with all your heart. God shall bring it to pass.

108 How do you do, sir. Was you one of the standers, a few minutes ago? I see it's still light around you. You accepted Christ as your personal Saviour. You're suffering with a nervous condition. Is that right? You've had a bad habit---smoking. God don't want you to do that. That's hurting your nerves, making you do that. Isn't that the truth? You want to get over it; you forsake cigarettes, you forsaken everything? Jesus Christ has already touched your body, and you're going to be well and serve Him. You believe now?
That you might know this: You're not from this city. You're from out of town, aren't you? You're from Indiana. You crossed the river. You're from a city called Greensburg, or something like that, Indiana. Is that right? Now you're all right. Yeah. Now you can go home and be well. God bless you.

109 The audience be reverent, be in prayer, be expecting God to bless and to heal. Amen. Have faith in God!
You sitting there, lady, with your finger up like this, suffering with a... Do you believe that God is going to heal you of that low blood pressure you got? Do you believe it? Yes. You believe He is. Stand up on your feet then and accept it. It'll leave you, and you can go home and be well.
You say, "What did that?"
The same Jesus Christ that turned to the woman with the blood issue, said, "Thy faith has saved thee." He knows all things, and He reveals it as He will. All right. Bring your patient. Have faith.

Matthew 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Luke 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

110 How do you do, sir? Do you believe me to be His servant? You believe you're in His presence, not your brother. But you're aware that something is going on?
Someone said I was reading your mind just then. That is wrong. Jesus Christ "perceived their thoughts." Is that right? The people's not thinking of their sins and things that they did. It's the Holy Spirit. All right.
Look this a way, sir, and believe. Are we strangers to each other? We don't know one another. Probably never seen one another in all of our life. Just this meeting. Then if there's anything about you or anything, your sickness or anything, only God would know, as far as I'm concerned. I don't know.

Matthew 12:25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Luke 5:22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

Luke 6:8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

111 But I see you being taken to a hospital. You've just come out of a hospital. It's something wrong with the blood---corpuscles breaking, or something. And you've had... I see you in a bed, and there's some kind of a something hanging up by you; it's something drip... It's blood. I see one, two, three, four, five, six, seven blood transfusions you've just had. ["Praise the Lord. That's right. That's right."] Is that true? ["That's right. That's the Lord."] It is the truth. ["That's true."]
You've got a wife that's sick. [The brother says, "Yes. That's right."] She's got arthritis, and liver trouble. ["Right"] Is that right? ["That's right."] And you're not from this city. ["No"] You've come from up the river. ["That's right."] From Cincinnati, ["That's right."] Ohio. ["Yes. It's the Lord."] Your name is Berghaus. ["That's right."] R. P. is your initial. ["That's right."] Return home and be well ["It's the Lord God."] Jesus Christ has made you whole.
Have faith in God! Telling him his name? Didn't Jesus Christ tell Peter, "Thou art Peter"?

John 1:42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

112 Now be reverent, friends. Visions make you so weak. You've been in the meetings, this week, and you know what I'm speaking of. Just have faith in God! Believe! And there was something... Just a moment.
I see a lady before me. No, it's this lady sitting right here at the end. You're... It's not you; it's a different-looking person. It's a loved one that's in a hospital, and they got cancer. It's a lady, and she's in a dying condition. And she is your sister-in-law. Is that right? If it is, stand up on your feet now and accept healing for your sister-in-law in the hospital. The Lord Jesus Christ who knows all about it!

113 All right, sister, you clapping your hands, rejoicing. You had something wrong with your hands, didn't you? All right, they're healed now, and you can go home.
And you sitting next to her there, you had gall stones. Didn't you, lady, sitting there? Stand up on your feet. You can go home, too, and be made well. They leave you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Just believe! "All things are possible to them that believe." Have faith in God!

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

114 Bring the lady. Do you believe, lady, as you come? You accept Jesus as Saviour, and accept me as His prophet?
Then if that be so and I have testified of the resurrection of Jesus Christ; He who stood and talked to the woman at the well, knowed exactly what was wrong with her. He said, "Go get your husband."
She said, "Come, see a Man told me everything I ever done." He never told her all she ever done. But He knowed, as the Father would reveal to Him, all she ever done. Is He the same resurrected Lord Jesus?
You've had an accident. No, you got something like it's a... You have been... It's the Holy Ghost is what you're seeking, the baptism of the Holy Ghost. That's right. And you got... I'd seen something, you got a ... you got a high blood pressure, too, isn't it?
Just a moment, a vision appeared before me. Oh, it's the woman sitting there, praying. It's you that had a... You hurt your foot, haven't you? An accident, and hurt your foot. Is that right? And you got kidney trouble. Is that right? Come on across, with the lady, you're both going to be made well. Jesus Christ...

John 4:16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

115 Hallelujah! Oh, the glorious, matchless Lord Jesus Christ who saved your soul, just a while ago, is a vindicating His presence. Amen. Check on your tape recording and see if what He says isn't the truth. Oh, have faith in God! Believe! "All things are possible to them that believe."
All right, Billy, is this your patient? Bring him on.
Believing, with all your heart? Got a loved one's in trouble, too, haven't you? They're not here in this city, either. Got some kind of a jerking. It's a Saint Vitus' dance, like. Is that right? And they live in a city where there's a river. It's a big city, and there's a river goes by the side of it. There's a lot of brick... It's St. Louis. Is that right? It is right.
And you've got another relative, which is a sister or something, and she's from a country that's got hills in it, evergreen trees. It's Arkansas. You got heart trouble. ["That's right."] Go, your desires is granted to you by Jesus Christ the Son of God.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

116 Let's say, "Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrected One, the One from Calvary!"
Be reverent. Don't stir. Just a minute, and we'll close in a few minutes. Don't stir around like that. It makes it interfere me. I'm having ... here tonight, watching. Be reverent.

117 Let the lady come. Do you believe you could get well, by faith, and that tumor would leave you without being operated? You believe it with all your heart? You accept it now? In Jesus Christ's name, may it be to you as your faith has said. Amen.

118 Sir, sitting there with a red tie on; you're suffering with a rupture. Do you believe that the Lord Jesus makes you well? Do you accept it? You're from out of town, too. I see you come from up the river, also: Cincinnati. Is that right? All right. While you're dual working, both stand to your feet right now and be made well in the name of Jesus Christ. God bless you. It leaves you. Go home; be well.

119 Come, lady, having faith. Do you believe that female trouble has left you? You accept Jesus as your healer for it now? That was an abscess, had drainage, and it would have pretty soon been to cancer. But your faith has saved you. Now go, give God praise for it, and you shall have anything you ask for.
Come, sir, believing with all your soul. If God will reveal what's your trouble, will you accept your healing? Heart trouble. Is that right? You believe He heals you now? Then, He does. Your faith makes you whole. Go, and God's peace be.
Come, lady. Do you believe God will heal that baby as I come across the platform? It's got kidney trouble. Go now, Jesus Christ make the little lad well, in Jesus Christ's name. Amen. You was nervous; that's left you, also. God be with you.
Do you believe Him? Have faith in God!

120 Do you want to get over that bronchial condition? You believe God heals you of it? If you believe it with all your heart, stand up on your feet, lady. Accept your healing. God bless you. You can go home now and be made well. All right.
Do you believe with all your heart? Will you accept your healing if Jesus Christ, speaking, will reveal your trouble? We're strangers to each other, but He knows your trouble. You have a lady's trouble, female; it's the womb and ovary. Now, go, God has made you well. Your faith saves you, lady, in Jesus Christ's name.
Let's say, "Praise the Lord!" Every one of you can be made well at this time, if you'll believe.

121 Now, lady, stand where you are, look this way. This whole audience, a big percent of them, suffers with that nervousness. Sometimes you think you're going to lose your mind, don't you? You're so nervous. Recently you dropped something; it was a dish or something, you was going across with it. But now Jesus Christ has healed you from it, and you're aware of that. Now go on your road, rejoicing.

122 Now, in the name of Jesus the Son of God, I challenge every believer in here to believe that this is the truth. Do you believe it? Well, then, if this be God's vindicated truth, hear me. Lay your hands over on each other, while I pray for you. And I want every person in here now to accept your healing.

123 Almighty God, be merciful to the sick and the needy. Standing here, and this whole room seems to be one big Pillar of light now. Knowing someone's standing near with their hands around me, laying upon handkerchiefs; bless them, Lord, to the healing of the sick. All these needy people here, with their arms and hands laid on each other. May the power, God's provided way, the Son of God, in His great power and majesty, sweep over this building like a rushing mighty wind, and condemn every disease, cast out every evil spirit.
Now, I condemn Satan, claim victory over him just now. And come out, Satan, of these people, in the name of Jesus Christ.
And let every one in here, that believes that Jesus heals them, stand to their feet and give God praise, in Jesus Christ's name.
God, in Jesus Christ's name, they now accept their healing.

God has a Provided Way

1 Let us remain standing just a moment, now, before we pray. Has anybody a special request tonight that you would like for God to answer for you? Just raise up your hand. Now in your heart think of what you're asking for. All right. And here's two requests here. Now let us bow our heads.

2 Our heavenly Father, we are approaching thy throne of grace. Not by any means would we try to come any other way, because it's grace that we need, Lord. We could not stand at the throne of judgment. Jesus stood there for us. And now we stand at the throne of his grace with this blessed promise that if we ask anything in his name it would be granted. We're so privileged people tonight to have this promise.
Father, you've seen the hands, and I'm sure you know what was beneath them, the desire of the heart. Answer, Lord, according to your riches in glory.
I pray for the meeting, for the sinner, the unbeliever, the ungodly. We pray for the sick and the afflicted, both here and everywhere; for ministering brethren across the country, who's holding up the precious rights of the Lord Jesus and his Word. Give us a great outpouring of his Spirit tonight, Lord, upon us, that when we leave we might be able to say, like those coming from Emmaus that night, "Did not our hearts burn within us as he talked to us along the way?" We ask this in Jesus' name, thy Son. Amen.
You may be seated.

Luke 24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

3 It's good to be here again tonight, and the last few minutes I've had the privilege of shaking hands with old friends, ministers that I've knowed times back. Brother Andrew Rasmussen, for one, and another was Brother Toms here, and brothers that I've met in different meetings. So happy to have them in here tonight with us to pray for the meeting. We had a glorious time last evening in our little gathering together.
And, as I say again, I want to make an apology to our ministering brethren who are in that convention here. I didn't mean to move in here when you were having a convention, but I was just passing through this way. And Brother Eddie said, "Well, we'll just stop a night or two on the road out," hoping that some day, by great cooperation amongst all the ministers throughout the island here, we might have a big meeting somewhere.
I come over with Brother Eddie for his Indian friends. And we had a glorious time up to that Port Alberni, I believe it's called, and with our Indian friends, and also our white friends. Had a glorious time up there, and we're hoping to be back soon to see all again.

4 This is my eleventh straight meeting, and I'm really tired. And I've got to leave tomorrow now, after the service, to make it down to ... got to go to ... move down to Tucson, Arizona; from there to ... maybe to Phoenix. I got to go then up on the Alaskan Highway for a little rest. I'm going up with a friend ---Brother Eddie here and them. I got to be back up there around the first of August, and ... really on the move. And then coming back and going overseas, over to Tanganyika, and Uganda, and down into South Africa; and, oh, just make a world tour around, trying to be back again by next spring---if the Lord willing, and He wants me to continue on trying in evangelism to ... for his glory.

5 I have promised to me, to start ... a nice big new tent, trucks, trailers, and everything all paid for. Don't even have to take up offerings for it. Isn't that wonderful? So we, trusting ... if that's his divine will. We always want his will. Then I aim to do what I've always promised: set the tent in a community where there's no revivals, and everybody cooperating, and have a morning meeting just for minister brethren, talk to them; an afternoon meeting for instruction for the healing of the sick; and then the night service, an evangelistic service; and then let off every Sunday afternoon, and so forth, where the other churches are having meetings. We won't interrupt with the regular meetings of the community. And we always wanted to do that.
And then stay for a while. Just ... the people don't get the idea how to be healed. They don't understand it, and just the first time in. And then if we teach it, and go into it, and studies and so forth, I'm sure it would help us all. I know it would help me, now, always, to get to talk about the Lord. And so I...

6 Brother Tom is here tonight. I'm sure he's been introduced, and everybody knows him around through Saskatchewan. He was one of my first sponsors when I come to Saskatchewan about fourteen, fifteen, years ago, I guess. My! Brethren there, and...
(I'm speaking in the wrong mike. What is it? The right church, but wrong pew, is that right? All right. So, I see he's put it on the other side of the desk. Usually I get a little bit loud, you know, and so I... Keep me from deafening people in this building, why, I guess he set it over there. All right. We'll discard this one, and take this one right on.)

7 Now, how many loves Him with all your heart? Oh, that's just fine, just fine. Now, tomorrow afternoon, so it won't interfere with the services anywhere... Now, I don't know where the camp meeting is at. I just learned it, just before coming here, that the camp meeting was on. And so we'll have services tomorrow afternoon about two or three o'clock. I guess they've announced it. And you that are not at the camp meeting... It's just picking up those that's sick and afflicted and couldn't get to the camp meeting. That's the reason we're concentrating on praying for the sick. And now, then, tomorrow afternoon the service is here. The Lord be with you and bless you.

8 Now I want to read a Scripture found over in the book of Genesis and the 22nd verse and the ... 22nd chapter, rather, and the 8th verse:
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for the burnt offering: and they went both of them together.
And now over in the book of St. John, the 12th chapter and the 32nd verse, Jesus speaking:
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Genesis 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

9 And now, so we won't be long in the service tonight... I don't mind keeping you through the week nights, because in the week nights you miss a day's work; I don't mind that. But don't miss Sunday school, whatever you do. Go to Sunday school. And some that's visiting, why, these pastors here will be glad to have you in their churches that's around here. Visit them in the morning. They will do you good to come hear them speak, and get acquainted with each other; for we've got an eternity to live together, and so let's get acquainted now.
And so, remember now, I've always said, "It's a sin to send your children to Sunday school." Everybody knows that. Don't never, whatever you do, don't never send your children to Sunday school. It's wrong. Take them. That's right. Always take them. Just don't send them. You go, for an example too. You take them to Sunday school. You go along with them. But just don't send them. That's wrong. Taking them is right, 'cause you're there with them.

10 And now, tomorrow afternoon we're going to try, if God willing, to pray for the sick and the afflicted, as many as we possibly can---or the group, unless it gets too big. As long as it's just a little group like this, why, we can easily do that. So if you got your sick people and want to bring them out for prayer tomorrow afternoon, we'll be glad to pray for them. Now, I want you to invite the brethren who are your pastors also to come out and visit us tomorrow after Sunday school, if he possibly can.

11 Now I want to draw from this Scripture reading out of Genesis, the 22nd chapter, 8th verse, "God will provide for himself a sacrifice." And then in St. John 12:32, where I've got my note and so forth, and my scriptures wrote out that I wanted to speak on: "I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." I want to take a text from that: "God has a provided way."
Now, you know, I'm so glad to know that there is a provided way. See, there's only two ways of anything: that's the right way, and the wrong way. And that's your way, and God's way. You can't have your own way and be in God's way; and you can't be in God's way and have your own way, see. So, it's one or the other. It's either your way, or God's way. It's your thoughts, or God's Word, see. You have to accept one. You can't take your own thinking. So, man was born a failure, and he's always been a failure. So why try to rely upon your own understanding? Why not take God's way of it? 'cause He always brings you out right.

Genesis 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

12 And now when He provides a way and the people doesn't walk in that way, then it's not God's fault. For instance, a city here, they have semaphore, stop lights; and the city has provided those at dangerous intersections. Well, if that red light comes on, and says, "Do not go now," and you run through that red light, see, you haven't come the provided way. And you get a wreck, don't blame the city. They had the warning there. Don't blame the man that hit you. You did it yourself, see. And see, that's you using your way, or the provided way.

13 For instance, when we start home tomorrow, well, now, what if I said, "Let me see which direction I live in now. I live something east, and south, and so forth. I'm going to take right straight that way and make a short cut, because I've got to hurry home. All right. I'm going to go right straight that way." I'd find myself out here in the Puget Sound somewhere, sunk down in the ocean. Or I'd find myself off in some muddy field. I can't do that. If I do, I'll never get anywhere.
Well, the only way for me to do is get a road map, and there's a ... the highways has been provided for me to travel. If I'll just take the road map and follow the road map, I'll get there, see. Just follow the markers, I'm bound to come there. It may take me wrong to my thinking, but the road has already been provided. And now my thinking, if it's contrary to the way the road's provided, then let me not think of my thinking; let me go the way the signs point, and I'll arrive there.
That's the way it is with our road to heaven. We have our own thinking. But if we use that, we are going to find ourselves altogether wrong, all wrecked up somewhere. But if we'll take the way that God has marked out for us, we'll arrive there just as sure as anything, 'cause God has a way.

14 Now, let's go back to some of God's way and in simple form that people would know. Did you ever notice a little chicken trying to get to this earth? What does he do? On the inside of that shell he stands there and beats away at that shell until he gets himself free. What is it? God's provided way. He had a bill. Before he was ever able to peck on the shell he had a bill, because God provided him a bill to work in God's provided way, see.
Oh, he's a lovely Father. See, He makes everything just right. First he had to grow a bill on the bird, the fowl, that's borned inside of an egg. He's got to make a way for him to follow the provided way to get out. See how God does? He makes a provided way. The only thing we have to do is follow his instructions and we come out just exactly right---always, every time. Yes, sir. He picks his way out, because he's coming God's provided way.

15 I've often wondered, when I come up here in the fall of the year on a hunting trip... And I admire going up in the high mountains here and watching the ducks, just about swarming time, and the geese. Now, they come from the south, come up here and get in these marshy, mucky, swamps, and make them a nest, lay their eggs, and hatch their little ones.
Well, them little ducks was raised on that pond, or lake, and he knows nothing else but that lake. He was born there last spring. He's lived there all summer long. He's got his livelihood. And somehow or another, when the long... And last of August or September, when there comes a snow up in the mountains, and that cold wind breezes down across that prairie country there, where that little duck's at, he knows there's something fixing to happen.
Now, what does he do? They all begin to get together. And out in the middle of that pond will come a little drake that was born that spring on the pond. He'll go right out in the middle of that pond, stick that little honker up in the air, and go, "Honk, honk. Honk, honk," and every duck on the pond will come right to him. See?

16 Now, God has provided an instinct---instinct in the duck to tell him that that thing is going to freeze over, and he'll die there. So he cannot stay here; and he's never been nowhere but here. But God has another place for him to go to, so he... If he's got another place provided down in Louisiana, and Texas, and the rice fields, after he eat all the oats from you-all he could, then he's going down now in the rice fields to live on the Texans, and down there.
Well, now he was born here on this lake. He knows nothing about it, but he's got a God-given instinct, God's provided way that tells him that trouble is near, and he begins to feel the air.

17 And not only... If they have to swarm, one would go this way and one would go that way. God provided them a leader. It's a shame that human hasn't, with their Holy Spirit, got as much gumption as a duck has with instinct. I just can't tell.
Of course, the duck believes that ... his God's provision, but the man doesn't, see. We try to take some man-made achievement to get away from trouble, when God give us the Holy Ghost to get away from trouble. That's right. And now, when we feel trouble in the air, there's only one thing to do: that's listen to the leader. And the Holy Ghost is the leader. He was sent to lead the church.

18 And now remember, this little duck has never been off that pond, but every duck in the pond knows that he's the leader. And that little fellow, one morning that instinct rises in him in such a way he lets out another honk, leaves the pond, says good-bye, and every duck follows him.
He's up in the air. He don't know which way to go up there, but some kind of a God-provided way he sets that little face towards Louisiana, and away he goes. And he gets there. Why? He trusts in God's provided way for him. That's the reason he can make it. He's trusted in God's provided way. Notice, how good it is.
EX13:21

19 Watch them geese, how they come up off of there and swarm. I just love to hear them in the fall of the year. They pass over Indiana, just a-honking away as they can go; one old leader right out there in front, with that nose struck right straight towards Louisiana, and away he goes. Never been there before. He don't know what's down there.
Like the children of Israel led by that pillar of fire. They rose up out of Egypt. They had never been out that way before. But they went just as straight to the promised land, because they were following a pillar of fire, God's provided leader. They stayed right in God's provided way.
Oh, it's too bad that we human beings miss it so much, because we don't know who our leader is. That's the only thing. We try to take some thought of our own. We always mire up somewhere and wreck up.
Now ducks and geese go south, and they have a provided leader. God, if he's going to send you anywhere over a route, it's up to God to provide you a leader to lead the way. Always. Yes, sir. God provides it. If you'll just watch nature---that was my first Bible, watching nature. If you'll notice it, you'll never miss God if you can watch nature.

Exodus 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

20 I've had the privilege of traveling the world over, and in the temples of Buddha, and Mohammed, the Jains, and Sikhs, and whatmore. But every one of them has a philosophy. But they're based upon a premonition, and, oh, I don't know what all you could call it---reincarnation, and all kinds of things. But Christianity is based upon burial and resurrection. That's the principle.
Now, resurrection isn't replacement; resurrection is bringing the same up that went down. Now, if this piece of paper falls and goes down to the floor... Now, if I just take this piece of paper and put it in that one's place, that's not resurrection; that's replacement. But the resurrection is, bring up this same one that went down. That's resurrection.

21 Now, when anything ... serves God's purpose has to stay in God's provided way. Let's take these flowers. They were put here to serve God's purpose. Now, you cut them off like that, you think it's the end of it. It isn't. God cares for his flowers. If you'll notice a pretty flower... How I notice you Canadian people here, how you have these beautiful gardens, and great pretty places of flowers.
Now, after awhile, they'll be young flowers, old flowers, middle-aged flowers. But there'll come a frost across the country one night---death. It'll strike that flower, regardless of what age it is. Death is no respect of age, person, or ability. Death strikes all. What happens? The little fellow gives up his life. What happens then? The petals begin to drop off of it the next morning---going. Out of there drops a little seed, falls down to the ground.
Then along comes a funeral procession. You might not believe it, but God has a funeral procession for his flowers. Did you know that? Now notice, after the frost strikes, then comes the fall rains. God sends the clouds across, and cries great big drops of water down and buries that little seed.
See, we try to make it too complicated. That's what's the matter today ... way the church has always got off the beaten path, they've tried to make it so complicated, like they have to be educated into it. You're not educated into Christ; you're born into Christ by the Spirit.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

22 Now, God sends the weepers and mourners forth, which is the water, and it drops down like great big tears and buries that little seed. Down beneath the ground it goes, as it packs it down. Then along comes the winter blizzard, sweeps across the country. The little petal's gone, the leaves drops off, the stalks gone, the bulb's dried up, and the little seed freezes and bursts open. The pulp runs out of it.
Poor little flower. Looks like the end of it. Oh, no. It's not the end of it. When that warm sun begins to come back around again, the earth moving itself in position of the sun, there's a germ of life somewhere in that dirt that no science has never been able to find. That flower lives again. Why? It served God's purpose in God's provided way, and He made a way for it to live again.
And if He made a way for a flower to live again that served his purpose, how much more has He made a way for a man or woman to live again who serves his purpose, walks in his provided way. So simple, just to look at.

23 Look at the tree, how the leaves come out there and hang out.
Just recently, the last few months, I lost my mother and ... my godly old mother. And she was laying on the bed, going. And I'd been away up in Canada, up here in British Columbia, and I'd returned back. Mother was sick and I went to see her. They'd taken her out to the hospital. She said, "Billy, this is the end, son."
I said, "Oh, Mom, my, that's not the end."
She said, "Yes, it is."
I wouldn't give it up. I kept praying, and she got worse all the time. God didn't speak a thing to me. I stood there. Many times have I made the remark in the pulpit... You people know many times I've said, "If my own mother was laying here dying, how could I tell her one thing unless God told me first. I can only say as God says say." There that thing come to pass, me praying over my mother.

24 My sister (just newly received the Holy Ghost), and she's the only girl. Oh, it worried her. I was out there one day and ... to see her, and Sister was there. And mother looked up at us. She said, "My first, and my last." That was, I was the oldest and Delores was the youngest. There was nine boys and one girl, and the girl was last.
And so, Mama said, "Billy," said, "you was the one who seen that I didn't need for anything to eat. You bought me my clothes and fed me after Daddy'd gone." Said, "Delores, you've been sweet to me. You've come to me, and helped me do my washing, and clean up my house, and things when I didn't feel good."
And Delores and I looked at one another, and said, "Oh, Mama, that's all right."
And I said, "Some of them has broke your heart, Mama. Some of the boys drank, and it broke your heart."
She said, "Billy, it all goes to make up the human life." That mother couldn't forget, no matter what they'd done, just the same. So she said, "And, Billy, one thing again," said, "you was the one who led me to Christ, who means all in all to me now."
And I said, "Mama, I went to the church, and the church said that God was in his church, the priest said." And I said, "Then I understood that God was in his Word, and I've stayed with the Word. I've tried to teach you the Word."
And she said, "Now is when it pays off."

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

25 Delores went home. She called me up, and she said, "Bill, I just can't stand to see Mama go."
I said, "Delores, what makes you say a thing like that?"
She said, "I just can't stand to see Mama go. It's the only Mama we got, and the only one we'll ever have." And said, "Here you are fifty-three years old, and me twenty-seven." Said, "How are we going to stand it, Bill? We've had her all this life."
I said, "Delores, look out the window where you're sitting at your phone, to your left. What do you see? Is there a tree standing there, a great big oak tree?"
She said, "Yes."
I said, "Two months ago all the leaves were pretty and green."
"Yes."
I said, "What color are they now, Delores?"
And she said, "They are brown, and they are red, yellow, and green."
I said, "What's the matter?"
She said, "The life is leaving the leaf."
I said, "Correctly." I said, "When was it its prettiest?"
She said, "Right now."
I said, "In its death. Amen. 'Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints,' seeing them old saints come down to the end, to the last moment."

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

26 When Mama couldn't speak no more, I said, "Mama," I said, "as your preacher boy I want to ask you, what does Christ mean to you?"
And she'd say, "All in all, all in all. He's dearer now then ever."
And when she couldn't speak no more, I'd say, "Mama, you can't speak no more. You're going now, just in a few minutes. I want to commit your soul to God, standing here. Mama, if you can't speak to me now, if Christ still means everything to you, when you're now fixing to die, if you can't speak, bat your eyes." And she'd bat her eyes up and down---and went off to meet God.
Oh, my, my! Precious in the sight of the Lord, that beautiful testimony, when Satan standing there, say, "I'll make Bill and Delores and them turn their back upon You. Let me have her and torture her a little." But, oh, my, see that old saint holding right out up to that end, and going to meet God, just like a leaf going.

27 I'm looking at a precious friend of mine sitting over here, formerly a Jehovah Witness. And he's ... his name's Banks Wood, and he's my neighbor. And he come, not...
Some time when he first come, he and his wife, they had a boy that had polio. And he was at the Texas meeting. First at Louisville, where he saw a girl (turning to chalk, or stone it was) was healed---running up and down steps, amazed all the doctors and everything. They'd brought their polioed boy to Texas. There's where the angel of the Lord had his picture taken, the pillar of fire.
And then after there I went to Norway and Sweden, come back. I was up into Ohio. They brought the boy up there, not knowing then.
One night the Holy Spirit spoke and said, "The little boy with the yellow shirt on back there is healed. Thus saith the Lord." And that moment the Holy Spirit came down, straightened out that crooked leg just perfect. Is David in the building tonight? No, he went home, didn't he? This is his father. Raise up your hand, Banks. His mother's sitting here somewhere. Where are you, Sister Wood? There they are, as a witness.

28 Well, they loved me so much till they just moved over, my neighbor to me. And a real Acts 2:4 neighbor they are, too. They really are, both of them receiving the Holy Ghost. And all of his family---practically every one of them been readers in the Jehovah Witness---through the visions and powers of God, turned them every one to the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
His wife's people all being Methodist---good women, good men, and everything---and every one of her people, the whole group, has come in and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, excepting one. Watching God.
And Brother Banks and I likes to squirrel hunt. I don't know whether anybody... How many ever went squirrel hunting? Oh, my! What part of Kentucky are you from, anyhow? And there's no hunting like it, nowhere at all. And we hunt squirrels with .22 rifles, fifty yard shot, eye shots. And we just don't get too many squirrels, but we have a great time when I go on vacation.

29 And one day down there, it was... The fall was real dry, two years ago, and we was camping out. Hadn't took a bath in a couple weeks, and beard all over our face, and squirrel blood. We were a mess. But I was relaxing from meetings, trying to ... getting away, back into nature. I always see God in his nature, watching his provided way. Notice.
And then it got so dry, when we'd step in the woods, them flat woods, one little break of the leaf... And you talk about Houdini being a escape artist, he's an amateur the side of one of them squirrels. He's gone, like that. And to shoot a rifle shot, and then an eye, it's a hard thing to do.
So Brother Banks said, "You know, I know where there's a man that's got five hundred acres of woods, all in the hollows." How many knows what a hollow is? All right. And that's down in the valley, like, where the water runs through. Said, "We could get down there and walk." So we went down to see this man. He said, "The only thing is, that this man is an infidel, a very awful unbeliever."

30 Well, we went through fields and everything till we got back to his place. And when we got back to the place where this infidel, unbeliever, lived, there he sat out under the tree, him and another old man sitting out there, with their hats pulled down, chewing tobacco, and spitting, like that. So Brother Woods got out of the car and goes over and said, "Could I squirrel hunt on your place a little while?"
He said, "What's your name?"
He said, "Woods."
He said, "What Woods are you?"
And he said, "Banks."
He said, "Are you Jim Woods' boy?"
He said, "Yes." That was his father.
He said, "Well, any boy or any of Jim Woods' people is welcome anywhere on my place they want to come."
So he said, "I brought my pastor along. Could he hunt, too?"
This old fellow spit, and said, "Woods, you don't mean to tell me you got bad enough till you have to carry a preacher with you wherever you go."

31 And so I thought it was about time for me to get out of the car, so I got out of the car and walked around there. I said, "How do you do?"
He said, "And you're the preacher?"
I said, "Yes, sir."
And before Brother Woods got a chance to introduce me, why, he said, "You know, the trouble with you fellows," he said, "you're barking up the wrong tree." You know what... A coon dog that barks up the wrong tree, he's a liar, see; and the coon's got away, and he ain't barking at nothing. So he said, "You fellows are barking up the wrong tree so much."
I said, "What do you mean?"
He didn't believe there was such a thing as God, and he knowed nothing about it.
"Well," I thought, "now, that old fellow isn't bad. He don't mean to be that way."
He said, "They talk about this, and they talk about that, and there's nothing to it. I've been right here and I've never seen nothing that looks like it. I can look up that way and I don't see nothing; look this way, don't see nothing." Said, "Why, the..."

32 You see, the trouble of it is, it's just like people coming to one of the meetings---there's so many trees you can't see the woods. That's just it, see. So then, he sat there, you know, a little while. And I thought, "Lord, if you'll just help me now, maybe we can catch the old fellow for the kingdom of God."
And there was a apple tree standing there, and the yellow jackets... How many knows what a yellow jacket is? He was ... they was eating on the apples. And I reached down and picked up... I said, "Can I have one of these apples?"
Said, "Help yourself. Yellow jackets are eating them up." So I began to rub it, like that. And he said, "There was one preacher one time here about three years ago, or four, that come over here to a little town called Acton." And said, "Acton's a little bitty place where they have a Methodist campground." Said, "This preacher come down from Indiana, and he had that place packed out full of people there for three nights."

33 And said, "Old lady (some name) up here on the hill had cancer in her stomach." And said, "She got so bad they couldn't put her on the bed pan no more. They had to use a draw sheet." And said, "Wife and I'd go up there twice a day and change her bed for her." Said, "Doctors give her up to die weeks before that, and said wasn't nothing could be done. She could hardly speak anymore. Couldn't even keep warm water on her stomach."
And said, "Her sister went down to that meeting that night." And said, "This preacher standing up there---never was in this country before in his life---looked back over the audience and said, 'This woman sitting back here is named So-and-so. When she left home tonight she put ... took from a drawer of a dresser on the right hand side a little handkerchief with a blue figure in it, put it in her pocketbook.
"'If... She's got a sick sister. She has a sick sister by the name of So-and-so that lives up here, and she's dying with cancer. Thus saith the Lord, "Take this handkerchief and go lay it on your sister and she'll be healed."'"

34 And said, "The woman got up out of the chair from where she was sitting, and went and laid that handkerchief on that woman." And he said, "Why, they ... I thought they had the Salvation Army up there on top of the hill." Said, "I never heard so much screaming, about twelve o'clock that night!"
Well, it was a bunch of them up there putting the handkerchief on the old lady and she was healed, just according to the Word of the Lord. Got up, jumping all around, shouting, praising the Lord.

35 And said, "The next morning wife and I went up there." Said, "It was late, about midnight. We thought the old lady ... was looking for her to die any minute anyhow. We thought that was her children screaming, that she'd already passed away."
And said, "We went up there the next morning. There was she and her husband sitting at the table eating fried apple pies and drinking coffee." And said, "She does her own work and the neighbor's work."
I thought, "Oh, oh. That's why... I'm glad you said that."
And Brother Banks started to say, "Well, that..."
"Don't, see. Don't." I said, "Is that so?"
He said, "Yes, it's so."
I said, "You don't believe that?"
He said, "Go right up there and find out." See, he was preaching back to me then, you see. "Go right up there and find out. Her name is So-and-so. She lives right around the corner."
The other old man sitting there said, "That's right," see.
And I said, "Do you mean that's the truth?"
Said, "Well, go find out for yourself."
I said, "My!" I said, "What was that guy's name?"
Said, "I don't know." Said, "I forget it." Said, "Some preacher from up in Indiana," he said.

36 And I said, "Yes, sir." And I was eating on that apple, you know, and I said, "That's a good apple."
Said, "Oh, yeah." Said, "She's a dandy. We can off of it every year."
I said, "How old is that tree?"
"Oh," he said, "we ... I planted that tree there myself about fifty years ago, something like that." He was seventy-six, I think it was.
I said, "Yes, uh-huh." I said, "I want to ask you a question."
And he said, "Yes, sir." He'd just got through saying, "If that preacher ever comes back here, seemed like he had something on the ball." He said, "I'm going to ask him how did he know that woman was in that shape, and how did he know she was going to be made well?"
And I said, "You say you planted that tree there so long ago?"
"Yes."
I said, "I want to ask you a question. It's just about the middle of August. We haven't even had a cool night. Why is those leaves dropping off the tree?"
"Oh," he said, "the life has left them."
"Oh," I said. "Is that right? Well, what happened to the life?"
"Oh," he says, "it went down into the roots of the tree."
I said, "Why did it go down there?"
He said, "Well, if it doesn't, it'll die. The winter will kill it. The germ of life can't stay up in this tree here."
I said, "Oh. Well," I said, "what causes it to go down before there's any cold spell?"
"Well," he said, "it just goes down."
And I said, "Well, now..."
He said, "It's just nature. It just actually goes down."

37 I said, "Well, if I get a bucket of water and set it out here on that locust stump, will ... when fall of the year comes along, will that water go out of the bucket right down to the bottom of the stump, and next spring come back up, bringing up another bucket of water?"
He said, "No."
I said, "Then there's bound to be some intelligence. That tree has no intelligence. It's a tree, a plant. There's got to be some kind of intelligence to cause it to go down to hide its life, and then come back up to bring you another bunch of apples."
He said, "Well, you know what?" he said, "I hadn't thought of it just that way."
And I said, "I tell you, you think of that. And whenever you can find out the intelligence that says to that tree, 'Drop your leaf. Hurry back down into the roots and stay there. And next spring come back again...' When you find what intelligence that directed that tree to do that, I'll tell you what intelligence that told me that woman was dying with a cancer, and put the handkerchief on her. She'd be healed."
He said, "You're not that preacher?"
I said, "Yes, sir, I am. I'm Brother Branham."
He said, "That's the name."

38 That old man become a Christian, gave his heart to Christ. Last year Brother Woods and I were down there and I drove over to see the old man. And his wife was sitting on the back porch peeling apples off of the same tree. And I come up and talked to her. And she said, "Brother Branham, that simple little story led the old brother to Christ. He died in Christian faith a year ago."
Now what was it? He found God's provided way. By looking the way He could provide a way of escape of death of that tree, he found a provided way that God had provided for him to live again.

39 Just watch God's provided way. God always makes a provided way; in this, we must follow it. Now, God made a provided way for the human race to escape the oncoming judgments. In the days of Noah, God made a provided way.
But when God makes a way and man refuses to walk in it, then if they miss it it's not God's fault---no more than it is the city's fault when you run a stop light, see. He's made a way.
And God, before He was going to destroy the world, He built ... had a ark built. Not only that, but He provided a prophet with his Word to make a way for the people to escape. And all that believed, and walked in God's provided way, by God's provided messenger to point them to God's provided way, they escaped the wrath and judgment of death.
God's got a messenger tonight called the Holy Spirit. He is the Word. And the Word ... He's the one that manifests the Word. But you must walk in that way. You must listen to the messenger of God, which is his Word, and walk in that way. It's the way prepared, to be for the escape.

Genesis 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

40 Job, one of the oldest books of the Bible---written, they claim, before Genesis was written... And Job, being a righteous man, God-fearing man... And he knew there was a God somewhere, and he wanted to know if he could come to Him in the days of his distress. He said, "If I only knew where He lived, and I could go knock on his door and speak to Him; if I could only find a way, some way, that I could see God..."
And God spoke to him, and made a provided way. And he wanted to find a go-between, something that could stand between a sinful man and a holy God; and put his hands on a holy God, and his hand on a sinful man, and breach the way between the two, making peace.
God came down in a whirlwind. Job girded up his loins. God had a provided way, and the Spirit of God come on the prophet. He saw the coming of Christ, and said, "I know my redeemer liveth, and at the last days he'll stand on this earth. Though after the skin worms destroys this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God." Amen. God was showing him his provided way.

Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Job 19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

Job 40:6 Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

41 Job 14, he seen the trees. He said, "If a tree dies, there's hopes for it to live again. But a man dies, yet he gives up the ghost and wastes away. Where is he? His sons comes to mourn, to honor him, and he perceives it not. O, that thou would hide me in the grave, keep me in the secret place till thy wrath be past."
He could understand that a flower died; it lived again. And a tree died; it lived again. But said, "A man layeth down, he giveth up the ghost. Don't see him coming back again." He put the seed in the earth. He seen it die, rot, bring forth another life. But a man went into the dirt and he laid there.
So God was explaining to him that the reason that man laid there is because man had sinned, and got out of God's provided way, original way. And the original way for man to live was by the Word of God.

Job 14:7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Job 14:10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

Job 14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!

42 God fortified his church with his Word.
And when they got away from that Word, just one little move of it, it caused all of this. Every heartache, every sorrow, every disappointment, every graveyard, every old age, and every sickness, every disease, every affliction, was caused because the human race just listened to reason instead of the Word. That caused the whole thing.
"Oh," you say, "well, it doesn't really make any difference."
It does make a difference! God, with his messenger, told Lot and his wife and the children, "Don't even look back." And Lot's wife---with her own children and grandchildren burning in the judgments of God, a mother---just turned her head slightly, looked back, and she was cursed to a pillar of salt. You've got to keep every word of it.
"Man shall not live by bread alone," said Jesus, "but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God."

Genesis 19:17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

43 Job knew then that man had sinned. But then God showed him his coming provided way, where there would come one could lay his hand on a sinful man and a holy God, and breach the way. And he said, "I know my redeemer liveth, and at the last days He'll stand upon the earth. Though after the skin worms destroys this body, yet in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself. Mine eyes shall behold and not another." Hallelujah! That Redeemer came, just on time.

Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Job 19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Job 19:27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

44 Israel's time came for deliverance. God provided a prophet with the original word of the promise---God's provided way. Now, Israel was in bondage. Now, Moses missed it first. He was a military man. He thought, "I'll go out and kill a couple of them, and they'd be afraid of me," see.
That's what man is always trying to do, to take ... make his own achievements. But you can't. The way's already made. God made the way, see.
No matter what great smart Jew would've raised up and said, "You know what? We can beat our swords out and we can whip this nation." That'd never work. God had a way to do it, and God had promised them that He was going to do it.

45 And when God sent a man down---a prophet, who the word comes to---he had the original word of God. "I have heard the groans of my people and I remember my promise." Hallelujah! That God don't change. He stays with that word, letter by letter. Not only that, but he vindicated his prophet.
He came down. He had a pillar of fire over him, vindicating him. He was God's ... that was God proving that the man was right, because he was exactly with the word. Oh, my. He preached the word. God worked with him, confirming the words with signs following.
Exactly what God told Moses to do, Moses done. Moses had a lot of impersonators. But in every case God always rode the tide above all the impersonators and brought it out right. Jesus said ... the Bible speaks that in the last days as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so will men stand up in the last days---impersonation. Promised it.

Exodus 2:24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

Exodus 7:10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

Exodus 7:11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.

Exodus 7:12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

46 But when Moses threw his rod down... And these fellows standing there with supersensory perception threw their rods down; done the same thing that Moses done. Only, Moses was following the line of God.
And what happened? There's nothing the man could do. He'd fulfilled his duty. When you do everything that you can do in the line of duty, then it's God's business to provide a way to the man. God will provide for himself a sacrifice, see.
And Moses threw his rod down, and Aaron threw his down; and they turned into serpents. And here come the supersensory perceptionists, and throwed down their rods, and they turned. And then Moses could do nothing else.
Then God provided a way. Their rods eat up the others. What happened to the rods? Did the snake get bigger, or what happened? Oh, God still has a provided way, and He's able to make a way when there's no other way. He is the way.

47 When the Egyptians would not believe them signs that Moses did... They wouldn't believe it. Then it brought death. And when man doesn't believe God's word, it always separates him from God. When Eve failed to believe God's word it separated her and Adam from God, 'cause the two were one.
Notice, when any person disbelieves God's Word... God's Word is God's provided way. Nobody should add anything to it, or take anything from it. It's got to be just the way it's written. Now, when anybody takes away from it or adds to it, why, he separates himself from God. He's separated then.
The Egyptians disbelieved that prophet's sign that he come down there and did in the presence of them all. Now ... now he's got ... that brings death. Death is separation. And when death was ready to strike, God made a provision to separate the believers from unbelievers, and that was by the blood.

Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

48 The blood made a separation. The one that really believed come under the blood; the ones that didn't believe stayed from under the blood. And that's the same way it is today. Believers stays under the blood. That's right. It's the only place to stay of safety. All right.
The blood caused separation between believer and unbeliever because the blood packs life. The blood ... life is in the blood. So life ... blood is in the life. And the believer stays in the blood, which brings him life eternal. And the unbeliever takes his creed and goes on. That's right. No way of getting away from it. All right.

49 After Moses led them out, he come to the Red Sea. Right in the path of duty, there the Red Sea cut them off. Moses needed a bridge. God provided a wind. Amen. So Moses didn't ... wouldn't have used the bridge. He took God's provided way, and he walked forward towards the sea. And it opened up, and Moses and Israel went over on dry land, because they followed God's provided way.
Through the wilderness they come---the journey---heartaches, and sorrows as they passed through. Moses got old, 120 years old, and one day he was going to die. So he climbed up to the top of Mount Pisgah. And while he was up there viewing the promised land, death struck him---that faithful prophet of God, when there'd never been one lived like him.
But death struck him. And when death struck him, he needed a place that he could die. God provided a rock, that same rock that had followed him through the wilderness. He climbed up on the rock and died. Then he needed pallbearers to bury him, and God provided angels. And they come and packed him away somewhere in the earth.
What was it? God. If we'll walk in God's provided way, God will provide everything we have need of. God provides. No matter what the circumstances is, He provides.

Exodus 14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

Exodus 14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

Deuteronomy 34:1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,

Deuteronomy 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

50 Enoch, one day, who'd walked five hundred years before God and had a testimony he pleased Him... Amen. What a testimony! Five hundred years, and had a testimony he pleased God. And one day he started taking an afternoon walk, and he needed a path. And God give him a highway. And he walked right out of here, right up Jacob's ladder, or the highway, going up home, see. God provided him a way to go home. Right.

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

51 Elijah, after he'd bawled out Jezebel so much... We need another one today. That's right. Bawled her out. How that we need one today! How the people... Oh, it's a disgrace, that ... what the people does today. It's just ... and all of them call themselves Christians. And some of these fashions that our modern women are wearing, some of these women with them waterhead haircuts, you know [blank spot]...
I've seen leprosy but I've never seen anything like that. That woman had red and blue eyes, brown stuff all over her face, one of them waterhead haircuts. I felt so sorry for her. I was going to go up and say, "Sister, pardon me. What's wrong with you? I'm a missionary. Do you want me to pray for you? I pray for the sick." And while I was going up to the woman, two or three more come up the same way. I thought, "Goodness gracious! It surely couldn't be that bad." Horrible! Oh, my, my! What a disgrace!
Yes. And Elijah had bawled out them first ladies of the land, and so forth. And he'd got tired and wore out, was going home. Hallelujah! He crossed over the Jordan. And he needed a ladder. But God sent him horses of fire and a chariot of fire. He had ... God had a provided way of taking his old tired prophet out of it. I'm so glad that he still remains God.

2 Kings 2:8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

52 Joshua, after the death of Moses, come down to the river of Jordan. He needed a bridge, also, to cross. But God give him a power, a Spirit that stopped the river, and held it up there in the mountains till they walked across on dry land. Praise God.
Daniel, right in the stand of duty---standing there as a prophet before God, speaking the word of God, and refused to bow his knee to any other thing---right in the line of duty, was throwed into a lion's den with hungry angry lions. He needed a go-between. He needed a fence to fence him off from the lions.
But God sent an angel, God's provided way for him. Daniel wanted a fence maybe, but God sent a li... sent an angel that provided the way for him. How wonderful God is, if we'll just walk in his provided way.

Joshua 3:15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

Joshua 3:16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

Daniel 6:16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

Daniel 6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

53 The Hebrew children needed a hose, a fire hose, down in the fiery furnace one day---also standing loyal, right in the line of duty. They needed a hose to put the fire out; but God sent them the fourth man. Startled the king. God's provided way.
The wise men from the East was looking for a star of Jacob to rise. They were looking for a guide to take them to it. And they wanted a guide; and God sent them a star. He guided them right exactly to the little king.
I can hear the wife of Belzar saying, "Say, Belzar, where you going?"
"I'm going all the way to Jerusalem." Oh, my! That was in the East, way back over in India. Was over there recently. They still sit the same way---the wise men in the streets by the three. And said, "I'm going out." Well, they had to have a compass to guide them.
Say, "Well, here. You forgot your compass."
"I'm not taking it this time. I'm going God's provided way. (Amen.) I'm going the provided way." Led him right straight to the young king that was born.

Daniel 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Matthew 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Matthew 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Matthew 2:9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

54 One day the world wanted a saviour. They needed a saviour. God provided his Son. Jesus, a saviour, made a sacrifice. He was a go-between. He was to stand between the sinner and the punishment that God had put upon him; stand between death and life, hell and heaven. He was God's go-between, a saviour.
After He was dead, buried, and rose again, the church needed a power to preach his gospel. Now, He did not give them an education. He did not build them a school, He did not form them an organization; but He give them the Holy Ghost. That was God's provided way.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

55 God has a provided way. We try to make some other way, but God's got a provided way. It's always best to follow his way. "You shall receive power after you've got your Bachelor of Art. You shall receive power after you become a deacon."?
"You shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Then you shall be witnesses of me in Jerusalem, Judea [and Victoria], and to the uttermost parts of the earth." Yes, sir.
After two thousand years of unbelieving, and falling away, and creeds and doctrines and dogmas being added to the church, they needed a sign to find out whether He still lived or not. Oh, my! God had a provided way---the proof of his resurrection, a sign that He had promised to Abraham's royal seed.
He promised to Abraham's royal seed that the same sign that Abraham seen (as we took last night), his royal seed would see the same sign. And we're living in the evening time when the prophet said, "It shall be light in the evening time."

Zechariah 14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

56 What is it? Civilization has traveled with the sun. The oldest civilization we have is India ... no, I mean China. And then the civilization has traveled with the sun (and notice), and has come till we got to the West Coast.
Now they can't go any farther. If they go, they go back East again. And notice. "There come a day," said the prophet, "that it wouldn't be called night or day." It was a dismal day, foggy. You get it over here on the coast. You got enough light you can see how to get around, but it ain't like the original light, the sun that rises on a clear morning.
And as the s-u-n rises in the East and sets in the West, the gospel of the S-o-n rose in the East and setting in the West. And now the same sun that rises in the East, s-u-n, is the same sun that sets in the West. And the same S-o-n (hallelujah!) that, though his light of gospel and power and his Messiahic sign to the eastern people...
In the last days now the clouds has cleared back away from the church. And the S-o-n rises with healing in his wings, and brings forth the power and evidence of his resurrection, that He still remains the Son of God. "It shall be light in the evening time," God's provided way, yes.

Zechariah 14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

Zechariah 14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

57 God has provided his way, Messiahic sign, to prove that He is, according to Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever; his same provided way that He had for Abraham, same provided way He had for Abraham's natural seed, the same provided way He has for Abraham's royal seed.
We're living in the last days, when churches has got formal, and creeds and dogmas. And people has got formal, the revival over, and the people going back into all kinds of ways of living. They don't want to go to church no more.
They stay home and watch television. They go out and women dress themselves trying to pattern after Hollywood. And men, that's supposed to be rulers of their own house, permits their wives to wear shorts and smoke cigarettes---and call themselves Christians and sing in choirs, and things like that, when the whole thing's become full of filth and vomit.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

58 But God said, "I will restore all the years that the palmerworm and cankerworm and all the other worms... I will restore," saith the Lord. That same church that was down yonder on the day of Pentecost that ... fell, and built a church that the Roman church finally (cankerworms into organizations, denominations) eat it down to a stump. But God said He would restore it in the last days.
Evening light shall shine. We need evening-time evangelism, with evening-time message; not a bunch of creeds. They had former and latter rain. The Hebrew word for "former" means sowing rain, and then the reaping rain.
Sowing. What have we got out of this revival? More members. What did we sow? Denominational seed. We reap a denominational crop. The Baptists had a big slogan out: a million more in forty-four. Billy Graham, great revivalist, that's true. We appreciate them men.
But what we need today, brother, is sow the gospel seed of the word of the power, resurrection of Christ, the living being that's living with us, in us now, present tense. "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." Amen.

Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

59 We're promised a messenger in the last days, Malachi 4 said, that would restore the faith of the children back to the fathers (the Pentecostal children now that's getting away from it); will bring them back to the original message of the original Pentecost. (Hallelujah! I feel religious. Amen, amen.) " I will restore." God has a provided way today. It's a restored Pentecost, back to the same things, the same signs, the same message. Amen. There you are.

Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

60 What am I saying? God's provided way. Walk in God's provided way. He has provided us a messenger---the Holy Ghost. He's provided us a Word. And if any spirit speaks contrary to the Word it can't be the Holy Ghost, 'cause the Holy Ghost wrote the Word.
"In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God ... and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us." Hebrews 4:12: "The Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword [cuts all the worldly flesh off of you], and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." "I will restore," saith the Lord, "A way ... a highway and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness. The unclean shall not walk in it." Hallelujah!
You can't walk with Hollywood and with the church at the same time. You can't walk with God and the world at the same time. You can't love God and mammon at the same time.
What we need today is not more organizations, more membership; but we need a church cleaning from the pulpit to the janitor, and a good old-fashioned St. Paul's revival, and the Bible Holy Ghost, and people back walking in God's provided way. Amen. God has a provided way. Let's walk in it.
God promised when He was here on earth, He promised, "The works that I do shall you do also." Jesus promised, before, "As it was in the days of Lot, Sodom, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man." What is it? God's provided way.

Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Luke 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

61 A bunch of disciples was out on the sea one time. They'd watched a great meeting that day, and seen a man that could break bread---tear it off and lay it down, and another loaf of bread growed on to it, laying it down till he fed five thousand. My! They said, "That's got to be God. Nothing else could do that but God." There He was.
They were out on the ship in the sea. They'd went off without it ... went off without Him. There they was, tossed about, and they didn't know what way to go. The oars were broke, the ship was waterlogged, the sails were tore down, and they had no way to get away from the power of Satan that was gushing in on them.

Matthew 14:19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

Matthew 14:21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Matthew 14:24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

Mark 6:41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

Mark 6:44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

Mark 6:47 And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.

Mark 6:48 And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

Luke 9:14 For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.

Luke 9:16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Luke 9:17 And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

John 6:10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

John 6:11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

John 6:12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

John 6:17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

John 6:18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

62 I wonder today if we ain't went off on a tantrum, too, in the revival, to build new places, and scatter out and build new big buildings; and preaching that the coming of Christ is at hand. Our own works testify against us. Oh, my, and missionaries without shoes on their feet!
What's the matter, brother? Something's wrong. Notice at the condition the church's got into. But God promised out of that He would restore, He would bring back, He'd make a way.

63 These disciples out there, all hopes was gone. They'd done give up. Said, "Well, we just can't go no farther. We're just going to die out here on this sea tonight." And there come Jesus walking on the water. And the sad part of it was, God had provided them a way of escape, and they was afraid of it. They said, "It looks spooky. Oh, He's a spirit." And they cried out for fear.
Jesus said, "Fear not. Be of a good cheer. It's I." God has provided a way for the people today to see that we're living in the end time. Don't be scared of it; believe it.

Matthew 14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

Matthew 14:26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

Matthew 14:27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

Mark 6:48 And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

Mark 6:49 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:

Mark 6:50 For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

Mark 6:50 For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

John 6:19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

John 6:20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

64 Let us bow our heads just a moment now. God has a provided way, friend. It's marked out all along the road. It's narrow. Broad is the way that leads to destruction; but narrow is the way that leads to life, and there's just a few of them that will find it.
Are you one here tonight that don't know that way? that don't know what it means to walk in the way of life: you don't know Christ? you haven't been filled with the Spirit? I'm going to ask you, as his servant, with the sincerity of my heart: if you're here, and don't know Him as your Saviour, will you raise up your hand and say, "Brother Branham [when you raise your hand, it'll testify for you], I want you to pray for me that I will walk in God's provided way."
You may be a member of a church; that don't mean one thing. Look, you say, "Well, I live a good clean life." That still don't mean one thing to God. Who could be any cleaner, who could be any more holy-speaking than those Pharisees was of that day? They were loyal men that we'd call God-fearing men. But Jesus said, "You are of your father, the devil," because they didn't know their Messiah. If you don't know Him personally...

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

65 We send our children away to Bible school and colleges, and we learn them the Bible. What good does it do to know the Bible if you don't know the author? The Bible doesn't say to know the Word. Satan knows the Word better than any student in the world. That don't make him saved. It's not by knowing the Word; it's knowing Him is life---to know Him.
If you don't know Him, raise your hand, say, "Brother Branham, pray for me. I want to know Him. Sincerely, with all my heart, I want to know Him." Is there sinners here would raise up your hand and say, "Pray for me. I want to know Him. I want to walk in his way, God's provided way. I realize I've joined church, but if I was dying right now I would be scared to death, I wouldn't be saved."
God bless you. Is there another? "I want to know Him." God bless you, young lady. God bless you. God bless you, lady. That's good.

66 Brother Brent, God bless you, sir. I tell you, it takes a real man to admit he's wrong. When he's wrong and will admit it, I got plenty of hopes for that person. When a woman's wrong and will admit it, I got plenty of hopes for her. But when they're wrong and won't admit it...
He that hides his sin, or covers his sin, shall not prosper. He that confesses his sin shall have mercy. If you're wrong and know it, raise up your hand, say, "Pray for me, Brother Branham." God bless you, brother. Another, just before prayer. God bless you, lady. Yes, God bless you over here, and you, lady. God bless you. That's real courage to do that.
Say, "Yes, Lord, I believe." I'm just watching for hands. He's watching too. Don't doubt; just believe. Just keep praying. I'm watching to ... let it ... just think it all over now---if you were dying. Have you ... sure you made up your mind, your decision's right?

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

67 Our heavenly Father, there's been some fifteen hands or more went up, best of my knowing. They are needy, Lord. They are willing to raise up their hands, and say that, "I'm wrong. Pray for me."
Lord God, I'm going to quote your words to You. You said in the gospel of St. John, the 5th chapter and the 24th verse, "He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into the judgment; but is passed from death unto life." That was your promise, Lord.
Now they raised up their hand, showing that there was a spirit around them, their spirit, telling them that they were wrong. And they raised their hands to the Maker that created them, to recognize to Him that they were wrong. Father, from the depths of their heart that that was said, they passed from death to life. You promised it. You said, "He that will confess me before men, him will I confess before my Father and the holy angels."

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

68 There is a provided sacrifice. God has provided for our sickness, for our salvation. For all that we have need of, God has a provided way. He's Jehovah-jireh, the Lord can provide for Himself a sacrifice. And He did. Let your peace and mercy rest upon them, Father. They are yours. They are what Jesus has give to You. He said no man can pluck them out of his hands. They are yours.
They meant that. I believe, God, with all my heart they meant it. And I pray this prayer of faith for them that they might know that you are God, that You are not dead, that You were dead once and rose up on the third day.
And two thousand years of criticism, and every way in the world to smut out your name and to wipe the Bible away, it still stands today, and You're standing bearing record of it there. "I'm alive forevermore, and have the keys of death and hell," said our Saviour.

Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

69 Now, Lord, they are yours. In this presence of this company, and this host of heaven, and the church of the living God, they are yours. Keep them, Father. And in that great day, may we have the privilege of meeting one another again around that communion table on that evening of the Lord's supper, in the kingdom again with Him.
May they find a good church, a good Full Gospel church, be baptized in Christian baptism; and then, Father, receive the Holy Ghost and live a godly life hereafter. Grant it, in Jesus' name. Amen.

70 Now just before I ask you to come here and stand around for prayer, how many sick people in here, or people that has a need of God, you don't have prayer cards? Raise up your hand.
If the Word is preached, and the Lord confirmed the Word that was preached, working miracles and signs... Now last night I went through the ... to show you that Jesus ... what his sign was as Messiah; brought it down through Abraham's day, and showed it closed off the Jewish dispensation---it closed off there with Abraham and his time; promised by Jesus to the royal seed of Abraham, which is the church, and at their time.
Told you that God can never make a decision and... Called on the scene to do anything, He has to forever do it the same way. When God was called to save a man, if He'd said stand on his head, that had to be forever that way. God saved a man by the shed blood of an innocent one, and it's always remained the same.

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Matthew 27:4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

71 We've tried education, denomination, all kinds of programs, and they all fail, and drive men further away from God and one another.
But when we come under the shed blood, Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, Presbyterian, and all, can agree, because we're in God's provided way---fellowship by the blood of Jesus Christ, the only common grounds of worship there is in fellowship.
We don't care if princes, judges, whatever it is sitting close when the Spirit falls, we're there to worship God---because we're not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. For it's the power of God unto salvation, God's provided way for the sinner.
Jesus said, "He that believeth on me the works that I do shall he do also." All of you here's been in the meetings before, and you know what I'm coming to. Now, I predict this: that the church is in the most critical condition that it's ever been in.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

72 Little did those Egyptian slaves know, when they stood on the bank after seeing a great revival that that prophet came down and brought to them, and they'd seen the mighty hand of God, and they'd been protected and come out there; and dancing in the Spirit after they crossed through the Red Sea and seeing their enemies drowned behind them (all their habits, and things, like we'd call today, drowned behind them---the things that torment them); and Miriam dancing in the Spirit, and Moses singing in the Spirit, and so forth; little did they know that---when they was only about ten days from the promised land, knowing that they were forty years away from it.
Why? Because they refused to follow God. They wanted a law instead of grace. And they got it, so they could make their own way and have their own so-and-so. Man's always tried to do something by himself. And God let every one of them perish in the wilderness, and raised up a new generation and took them to the promised land.

Exodus 15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

Exodus 15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.

Exodus 15:20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

Exodus 15:21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

Numbers 14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

Joshua 5:6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

Hebrews 11:29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

73 Little did the Pentecostal church know forty or fifty years ago, when you were dancing in the Spirit---them old long-haired mothers with long dresses on---that their daughters would ever be Hollywood queens, as they try to be today.
Little did they know, when men of integrity, and godly men who would die for that Word, stand under gunfire and everything else, called "holy roller," throwed in jail, stood on the street corner, run off of one corner, be on the other one, bringing the gospel---that their sons would even permit such a thing to come, to bring your churches into a place like the rest of the denominations.
Now they're wandering. For forty years they've been. But there's a new one coming up. "God will restore," saith God, somebody that will walk in the Spirit, bring the truth, and tell the truth. Joshua, Jehovah-saviour, led them across Jordan.

Joshua 3:17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

74 Now, brother, sister, Christ lives today. He is not dead. If He's dead, then our religion's in vain. He rose again, and is alive forevermore. He only 'come death because He could take away sin. It was Immanuel.
When He went up the mountain, the bee of death humming around him, knowing he was going to sting him, little did they think that He was... Little did Satan believe He was a prophet. Why, that mockery, put a rag around his face, and spit in his face, and hit Him on the head with a reed, and said, "If you are a prophet, tell us who hit you," see.
"If thou art the Son of God, turn these stones to bread," see. Old Pharisee standing there said, "If he was a prophet he'd know what kind of a woman that was washing his feet," like He didn't know, see.

Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Matthew 26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

Matthew 26:68 Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

Mark 14:65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

Luke 4:3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

Luke 7:39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

1 Corinthians 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

1 Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

75 When He seen Simon and called his name, and told him, "Your name is Simon. You're the son of Jonas," that predestined seed of God come to life that quick. When Philip went and got Nathanael and brought him up there, He said, "Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom there's no guile," he said, "Rabbi, when did you know me?"
Said, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the tree, I knew you."
He said, "Rabbi, You're the Son of God, the King of Israel." They knowed that was Messiahic sign. That's right. That was God's provided way for them to see Him.

John 1:42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

John 1:43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.

John 1:44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

John 1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

John 1:46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

John 1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

76 That angel down there at Sodom, that turned his back to the tent, and asked Abraham where was Sarah, his wife... And in the tent she was. And He said, "I'll visit you according to life." And Sarah laughed within herself. He said, "Why did Sarah laugh?" behind him.
Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be in the coming of the Son of man." Abraham come through all kinds of signs and things, but just before the fire there come that sign. Israel come through all kinds of signs. But before they were excommunicated from the presence of God they seen that Messiahic sign.
The church has come down through Lutheran, Baptist, Presbyterian, on down through Pilgrim Holiness, Nazarenes, Pentecostals, to speaking in tongues, but here it is. Something has to happen. He has to be the same God.
I have no education. I'm your brother, but I'm telling you the truth. And if I'm telling you the truth, God's got to back that truth up. And if it isn't the truth, God will have nothing to do with it. That's...

Genesis 18:9 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

Genesis 18:10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Luke 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

77 You all, we all, know the Word of the Lord came to the prophets. The prophets was the word of the Lord made manifest. Jesus was a prophet, and that's the reason Deuteronomy said, "The Lord your God shall raise up a prophet..." And when they seen Him doing that, they hadn't had a prophet for hundreds of years, but they knowed that was that prophet.
Look at that little old woman up there, a prostitute, in St. John 4, as she stood up there that day. And Jesus came out, a Jew, and asked her for a drink. And the conversation went on for quite a lengthy spell. Jesus was trying to find where her trouble was.
And when He found where her trouble was, He said, "Go get your husband and come here."
She said, "I have no husband."
He said, "Truth. You've had five, and the one you're living with now is not your husband."
Look at that little woman. She said, "Sir, I perceive that thou art that prophet."
Now, if you notice, the King James says "a prophet," but run your marginal reading---that prophet that was to come. They asked John, "Are you that prophet?" They knowed that Messiah was to be prophet.
She said, "Are you that prophet that was to come? We know when Messiah, which is called Christ, when he comes that will be his sign. He'll show us these things. But who are you?"
Jesus said, "I am he that speaks with you."

Deuteronomy 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

John 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

John 4:19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

John 4:20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

John 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

78 Brother, them Pharisees, high-scholared, denominational, gritted down, stood there and said, "It's a devil, Beelzebub, a fortune-teller."
He said, "I forgive you. But some day the Holy Ghost will come to do the same thing. One word against it will never be forgiven, in this world, nor the world to come."
He said, "Search the Scriptures. They are the ones that testify of me." He was God's Word made flesh. He's a manifestation. "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. The Scriptures testify of me. You think in them you have eternal life. They testify of me." In other words, "They're the very things that says what I am."

Matthew 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Mark 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Luke 11:15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

John 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

79 Now the very same scriptures is saying the day we're living in, proving that we're in the evening time, and God's made a way of escape. Run to it as quick as you can. That escape is Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost. By one Spirit we're all baptized into that.
And don't depend on... I believe in shouting and speaking in tongues and all that, but don't you depend on that. It's the life that's in it. And that life is what believes that Word. No matter if you spoke in tongues, and whatever you've done, and still doubt that Word, it ain't the Holy Ghost in you.
The Holy Ghost wrote the Word, and the Holy Ghost cannot deny his own Word, see. The Holy Ghost will punctuate every one of them sentences with "Amen, Amen," just exactly line upon line, line upon line. The Holy Ghost will.
And the Holy Ghost was the one made the promise. Any man knows that the Bible said that Jesus Christ right now is a high priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities. Anyone knows that the Bible said, Hebrews 13:8, that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
If He's the same high priest, He's got to act the same way if He's the same high priest. Jesus said, "The works that I do, shall you do also." What kind of works did He do?

Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

80 The Bible plainly shows that we're in the last day and the last sign. I'm fairly young yet. I'm fifty-three years old. Watch this: in the name of the Lord, you'll never see nothing greater. I know you're looking for something great, but watch out. You got your eye ... you're on the wrong track right there.
Read the first three chapters of Revelation. There wasn't too much promised to the Gentile church. That's right. Those things that you're reading, that's coming over there in Israel after the church is gone. So, be careful, brother. It passes right over you, and you don't know it.

81 "Which one of the prophets did your fathers not stone because they didn't know their day? If you'd have knowed me you'd have knowed my day." They didn't know John till he was dead, buried.
They didn't know Jesus till He dead, buried. They didn't know St. Patrick. Joan of Arc, the Catholic church burnt her as a witch to the post, because the woman had power in prayer and saw visions. And they said she was a fortune-teller, a witch, and they burnt that woman, screaming for mercy.
Oh, of course, you done penance two hundred years later---dug up them priests' body and throwed them... But it passed by you, and you didn't know it. Even the disciples said, "Why does the scribes say Elias must first come?"
Said, "Elias has already come and you didn't know it." Goes over your head and you don't know it. Don't miss it. The Holy Spirit, Christ, is here.
Now, remember these two words before I leave you: the appearing of Christ, and the coming of Christ, is two different things. Christ is now appearing in the fullness of his power. His coming will be afterwards; His appearing before his coming. God be merciful.

Matthew 17:10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

Matthew 17:12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Mark 9:11 And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?

Mark 9:13 But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

Acts 7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

82 Now every person here be real reverent. I was talking, waiting, till I knowed his presence was here. I'm going to ask Him, in the name of Jesus Christ, to take us into his hands and to take our unbelief away from us. Take my fears and doubts and flusterations, God. Take the flusterations of this company away, that you might work the works that you promised in the last days; that we might go from here tonight, God, with our hearts burning within us; and see that the God that we have served, that we have shouted to, we have praised to, here He is showing Himself alive among us. Grant it, Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, may it be so.

83 Now if there'd be any doubt in anybody's heart, you come here and take my place. But if I've told the truth, God's obligated to back that truth up. Now you that raised your hand, I'm going to ask you to do something in a minute.
But you that knows and believes that this I have told you is the truth, then you pray and say, "Lord, let me touch your garment with my faith tonight." Now if you'd touch me, it wouldn't do any good---no more than my brethren here, or anybody out there. But you touch Him one time.
Watch the Spirit. That's how we know Christ. Not by the way He dressed; not the way, as I said, as He groomed his hair, his beard, by his speech, language---but they knowed his life. Christ is a life. "We know when Messiah cometh He'll tell us these things." He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

John 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

84 Just pray sincerely. Don't be nervous. If you do, you'll never catch it. Just be simple. Just say, "Lord..." It's simplicity that they overlook. They make it so complicated till they... That's the reason they missed Jesus in the first place. Said, "Well did Isaiah speak. You got eyes, can't see; ears, and can't hear," see. Make ... just realize that Christ, the son of God, lives.
Now you pray, and if God does what the Bible says He does, then the truth is, the Bible's right. But if he doesn't do it, then it isn't God. And we know that. Anyone knows that, that God is obligated to his Word. Don't you believe that? He's got to keep his Word. Now you just pray now, and believe with all your heart that God's going to grant it. And now may He bring his Spirit and speak to us, and confirm the Word. Now watch real close.

Isaiah 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Isaiah 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Matthew 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

85 Now, remember, how many in here, while you're silently praying, has seen the picture of that angel of the Lord on that paper? Sure. I guess they've showed it here in the building. So help me, with this Bible here, and it over my heart, at the day of judgment I'll be judged and you'll be judged if we miss Christ. That same light isn't a foot from where I'm standing right now.
Now, He said, "I come from God, and I go to God." That light came down and was made flesh. It returned back from the resurrection into glory, and Paul on his road down to Damascus was smitten down by it.
Now, if that light---that scientific world has proved that it's a supernatural being---if that don't produce the same life that it did when it was here in Christ, if it don't do the same thing in his church, then it isn't the same life. If it does, it is the same life.

John 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

John 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

Acts 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

86 Here. Look here. There's a little woman sitting right here, just ducked her head down just then. Faith, trying to believe, she's praying for her eyes. Her eyes are in bad shape. She's worried about it. She's looking right at me. She's not ... she's from Norway. That's right. Have you a prayer card? You don't? You don't need one. Your eyes will get all right now. Your faith touched Him.
Have faith. Now I just want ... just take our time just a minute.
Go to that lady. Stand up just a minute, ever who the woman was. Where was she? See, it's a vision. It's like I dreamed something. Where was that woman? Now I think it was right back in here. Was those things true, lady? What was said? Raise up your hand. Was you praying like that, and so forth?
How would I know what she was praying about, and what she was praying for, and all about it, and who she is, and where she is, and what happened, and so forth? How would I know it when the woman is a total stranger to me? I never seen her in my life, and we're total strangers.
Go to her after the service and ask her. Thank you. What did she do? That confirms the Scripture. He's a high priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

87 Here. Here comes a man coming before me. The life-line comes here. Sitting here on the end of the row, suffering with a back trouble. You believe that God will make you well, with that back trouble, sitting here? Believe that God will heal you? You do? You accept your healing?
Mr. Sanders, do you believe that God is a great healer? I want to ask you something. Look here to me. Last evening you had a very strange feeling when you were here in the meeting. Something'd taken place. Now, tonight, when it returns to you again... Now, you believe with all your heart; that trouble's gone from you. You believe?

88 Here, I don't know you. We're strangers. Don't you see that? Looky here, brethren. Looky there, right over this man here---yellow emerald light. The man's suffering. He's in bad shape. It's nervousness, about to have a breakdown. Just is a breakdown, that's all.
You're a nice man, got a family, a bunch of children, about five children. That's right. Have you a prayer card? You don't need it. It's all over now. You can go home, make a living for your children. Your faith makes you whole.
See this boy sitting next to you? When I pointed my finger over there, he jumped. If you'll believe, that skin disease will leave you too, and you'll get well. You believe it? Have you a prayer card? You don't need it now. Your faith makes you whole.

89 Don't you believe with all your heart? Ask those people. I do not know them. They're just sitting here in the meeting; but they got faith.
Here's a lady sitting here looking right at me, right up here. She's suffering with a back trouble too. She'll believe ... Miss Cobbles. I don't know you. Have you got a prayer card? You don't need it. Your faith saves you.
Is He the same yesterday, today, and forever? This is God's way. Walk in it. What is it? The resurrected Jesus Christ. Forget all these creeds and things you're trying to hold to. Turn it loose. The Word is being made flesh among us. We see it's God's Word.

90 Do you love Him? Would you like to come offer your life to Him, as a life of service, even a dedicational service, to dedicate your life to Him again? Would you do it? While in his presence, I want every person that's here that wants to dedicate their life anew, and all you people that raised your hand a while ago, come stand along here just a minute. I feel led to do this; and when I feel led, it's always the right thing. That's right. Oh, now, you'll see something happen.
Yes, we'll gather at the river,
The beautiful, the beautiful river;
Oh, gather with the saints at the river
That flows by the throne of God.
Yes, we'll (all of us) at the river,
The beautiful, the beautiful river;
We'll gather with the saints at the river
That flows by the throne of God.
Shall we gather at the river,
Where bright angels' feet have trod,
With its crystal tide forever,
That flows from the throne of God?
(Let's raise our hands now.)
Yes, we'll gather at the river,
The beautiful, the beautiful river;
Gather with the saints at the river
That flows from the throne of God.
Let us bow our head now. The organist will continue with that while we hum it in our hearts, just continually humming now, thinking you're coming in the presence of the Spirit of God that's here with you.

91 Heavenly Father, I walk up before this penitent group, the complete church outside of about ten or fifteen people stands on their feet, wanting to know You closer, walk with You, love You more. They're standing, Lord, singing, "Shall we gather at the river?" Yes, Lord, we'll gather there, and it won't be long.
When the time is fulfilled, then the Spirit of God, which is here right now, great Holy Spirit moving around over the building, that sweetness of fellowship that draws us close to Him, letting us know that our sins be pardoned, our iniquity is gone... When we're ready to confess our wrongs, God is willing to forgive us.

92 Heavenly Father, as we see the day far spent now, and we seen You do something tonight like You did before your crucifixion. That's the very works that You done before You were crucified. And here now we know by this, the promise of the Word that He promised it would do again, we know that You are risen from the dead and You're alive forevermore.
Two thousand years of criticism, and twisting in theology, has never been able to warp it out of the Word of God. We see Christ come on the scene, and do exactly the same thing that He did when He was here on earth. We know by this that He lives.
And we know by this that we are accepted, because the angel that come to Abraham and to the elected group---not down into Sodom, but up at the elected group---performed this type of a sign.
We're so glad, God, that You let us know that we are that church that's come out and are separated; not down in Babylon no more, but are borned again, and are made new creatures in Christ Jesus, waiting for his coming. We care not for the things of the world, for we are pilgrims and strangers. Our inheritance is of above, where God sits on his throne.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

93 We pray, heavenly Father, that you will take each penitent person that's standing here. And if I have found grace in your sight, and we have preached the gospel without compromising just exactly the way the Word teaches it---and You have proved that it is the truth by your visit with us tonight---God, forgive every sin. Take every coldness away from the people, and may the Holy Spirit in the power of his resurrection of Christ will move into every heart and warm those hearts. Fill it, Lord.
Right now let another Pentecost drop down upon this audience. Satan's defeated. May the power of God move into the hearts, and sanctify and fill every heart here in divine power of the Holy Ghost. Grant it, Lord.
I offer this prayer to you, God. In the name of Jesus Christ, grant it, Father. May your grace grace our gathering tonight and our blessings together with you, Lord, in heavenly places. Grant it, in Jesus' name.

94 All that believe now with all your heart that God forgives you, and you promise that by the grace of God in the presence of this angel, the Holy Ghost that's here now, you promise from this night on you'll live for Him, you'll pray more, you'll sacrifice, you'll fast, you'll do everything in your power, by the grace of God, to live for Him, raise up your hands and praise Him. Now say, "Thank You, Lord, for giving me this faith to believe it." God bless you.
