At the time of this writing, David Napier was Holmes Professor of Old Testament Criticism and Intepretation at Yale Divinity School, and author of several books on the Old Testament. He later became President of Pacific School of Religion, in California. Dr. Napier has graciously given permission for his book to be reproduced on this CD.
The verb-forms were modernised and the text lightly reshaped, to conform its structure to the general pattern followed in this library.
